"What do you mean, 'others,' lady? Like superheroes?" Ace asked the glowing queen before him.

"There are others who have been gifted with powers much like yourselfs. However, whether or not they become... superheroes, it all depends on whether you two can find them before someone else with less than admirable intentions does."

"So you want us to find them before someone can turn them into villains or something," Lexi asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Yeah, like Zander in shining weather riders." Ace joined in.

"I don't know who this Zander you speak of is, but it is assured that a many nefarious beings will be after them to do their bidding."

"Guess she doesn't watch much TV." Ace whispered to Lexi.

"That or she has better taste than you."

"Tell me, what is it that you are called young rabbits? Zadavia asked, raising an eyebrow at the whispering twins.

"Bunnies actually." Ace corrected. "I'm Ace Bunny and this here is my twin sister Lexi." He said grabbing Lexi and rubbing her head with his fist. She quickly batted him off.

Zadavia reached out her hand pointing at the meteorite lying on the beach. "Bring it to me ."

Lexi looked at Ace with a worried look.

"Do not fret young ones' it is harmless to you now." The queen insured them.

Ace nodded and started towards it. Lexi grabbed his arm, trying to stop him.

"It's fine, Lex. It doesn't do anything now anyway."

Ace broke free of her. He proceeded to bring the hunk of space rock to the yellow woman.

She sat it on the ground before her and pointed her sword at it. A bolt of white light blasted from it. The twins stumbled back in shock.

"Wow! " "That's some sword." Ace was awestruck.

"Yeah, who needs a laser gun when you've got a laser sword," Lexi said, uncovering her head.

"Um, what did you do to it?" He pointed to the meteorite. "Recharge it or something?"

"Not quite. "Pick it up and you shall see." Zadavia instructed.

"Oh OK." Ace picked up the meteorite after poking it a little with his finger to see if it was hot. It was completely cool. Ace held it in his hand, looking at it sideways for a moment.

"Nothing seems to be happening." He sighed with disappointment.

Just as the words left his mouth, a small yellow spark illuminates from the rock. Ace gasped with surprise. The little spark then erupted into a stream of multi-colored light, blasting into the sky. The beam changed pink and then pointed at his sister. just like the laser pen his teachers would use in class sometimes.

"Hey keep that thing away from me," Lexi complained as she tried to get away from it. No matter where she ran to the light would still follow her.

"Now the stone can track down the others. All you have to do is follow the light." Zadavia said pointing to Lexi.

"How do you get it to stop following you?" Lexi asked annoyed at the light stuck to her.

"Touch it." Zadavia said pointing to the meteorite Ace was holding.

She hesitantly walked over and did as Zadavia told her. The light blasted up into the air again and then changed direction. It was now pointing towards Acmetropolis.

"Now you know how it works. Go and find the rest. I'm depending on you. Zadavia said, pointing to the city. She then raised her hands into the air, disappearing with a flash of light.

an hour or so later.

"Look, Lexi! "I think we've finally found someone." Ace exclaimed joyfully as he gestured to where the colorful beam was pointing.

"Oh, never mind. It's just another meteorite." He said picking the chunk up. He touched it to his peace to stop the attraction. He tossed it to Lexi, who put it in a basket with lots of other ones.

"You know Ace." "I don't think that thing works the way your friend said." Lexi leaned on Ace's bike with her arms crossed.

"Not that you're going to listen to me, but I think this whole thing is a bit glitchy. I don't think we should trust her."

"Let's just give her a chance." "It's not like there are too many superheroes around anymore, and I bet those who are wouldn't have time to teach us anyway."

"Who said I wanted to be a superhero anyway?" Lexi whispered to herself.

"What was that?" Ace asked

"Nothing... let's take a break OK. I'm sick of wandering around in these ruins." She answered with a huff.

"I guess a little break wouldn't hurt."

The two climbed up to the top of one of the many abandoned buildings. This part of the city had been pretty damaged. Restoration had just barely begun on it.

From their spot, they could see a good chunk of Acmetropolis or at least where it had been. What had been the city's most beautiful sights now looked like a jigsaw puzzle that had been left out in the rain and used as target practice by a trigger-happy Yosemite Sam. The port had been devastated. Where it had been was now a massive, deep crater with water pouring into it from the ocean. It was so vast that Lexi couldn't see the end of it. Ace, however, could. No doubt, due to his new abilities.

"I'm not sure I agree with Acmetropolis's new decorator. "The place looks like Swiss cheese." Ace joked. "I wonder where everything went? "

"I bet it's being spread around in the ocean."

"Even the skyscrapers?"

"Yep. The fish are remodeling them as we speak. Lexi chuckled.

Ace laughed but it weakened into a deep sigh of sadness. Lexi looked at him with sympathy.

"I know it's terrible." She said looking at the wreck of a city.

"Well, it's not all that bad." The city's been rebuilt before and has come back stronger every time. "And look, the clouds are starting to clear." She pointed to the sky.

"Yeah, your right. Hey, what's that?" Ace said noticing something huge moving out of the clouds.

"I don't see anything." "Wait... Holy Hologram!" Lexi exclaimed, shocked.

Emerging from the thick clouds was a massive floating chunk of land with broken skyscrapers sitting on top of it.

"Well, I guess you're fish won't be remodeling that scraper." Ace joked.

"Looks like they aren't going to be remodeling any of them," Lexi said, pointing at a bunch of floating islands coming out of the clouds with buildings on most of them.

Construction workers and volunteers dropped what they were doing to watch the islands. No one knew they existed until now.

Lexi and Ace were totally mesmerized by the sight until the meteorite started acting up, flashing purple. "It's found someone," Ace declared, grabbing Lexi's hand, pulling her along with him after the trail.

Ace rushed past a group of people wearing volunteer T-shirts. They were all so enthralled by the floating islands that they didn't even notice Ace and his sister nearly running them over. Nor did they notice the glowing trail they were following.

Away from the crowd in a demolished gym, the twins heard loud banging. There was sawdust flying everywhere.

"I bet that's our guy." Ace said as the two were about to turn the corner.

When they did, they saw an albino Tasmanian devil tossing debris around like it was nothing.

"See, I told you." Super strength." Ace said, pointing his thumb at the guy.

The purple trail swirled around the Tasmanian. He started swatting at the sparkling swirls like it was a swarm of bugs. He got more and more frustrated with the thing circling him. His eyes began to glow purple, and he started spinning faster and faster until he was a giant tornado.

Lexi's eyes widened. "OK, that's it. I'm done." You're done. Let's go home. She said, grabbing her brother by his collar and dragging him away from the purple tornado.

"Oh, come on Lexi, he's not that scary." Ace said, breaking away.

BANG! The tornado ran into a building, sending it crashing to the ground.

"Never mind your right. Let's go." Ace said, getting out of there.

Slam finally stopped spinning. He looked around, taking a moment to get his bearings and re-balance himself. What was going on with him today? That purple stuff was still swirling around him. He frowned, grumbling in annoyance. His eyes tracked up, and he noticed the purple trail leading away. He squinted and saw two bunnies retreating. They seem to be the source of the sparkle junk. Slam went after them to get some answers. Was this some kind of prank?

He jumped out in front of them, stopping them in their tracks. They jumped back in fear. The yellow lady bunny fell right over.

"Oops! Rorry." Slam apologize putting his hands up to show he meant them no harm.

"Whag ghat? Why it rollow re?" Slam said pointing at the glowing meteorite Ace held. The bunnies looked at each other confused. It was clear they didn't understand him. Slam sighed. This happened to him a lot. His mother always told him his accent would get him into trouble.

"Umm,' could you repeat that?" Ace said bashfully.

Slam huffed and reached out his hand, touching the meteorite to show them what he was talking about.

The thing flashed purple and reverted back to the rainbow trail, except without any purple. Slam gasped and scratched his head.

"Uh? Rhyed rit roo that?" Slam was confused.

"Yeah, it freaks me out too," Lexi said, hiding behind her brother.

"Yeah, it's a bit weird, but don't worry I, I'll ex, explain everything." Ace said, stumbling on his words. The 8-foot-tall Taz was rather intimidating. especially when considering he just toppled a small skyscraper.
