NOTE: Next chapter is gonna be the last one. Both families finally have their full meeting and whatnot. This chapter is kinda like a filler, but important filler. Not the biggest fan of it, but I didn't want to go into the dinner chapter immediately.

So, I hope you all enjoy Yuri being a petty little shit.

Enjoy and Review!

Chapter 4: Little Brother x Siscon

"GOKU!"

The Saiyan raised on Earth, who was in the middle of doing a one-finger push up, toppled over from the scream of his wife. Dressed in his usual orange GI, Son Goku stood up from the ground. He watched his wife, Son Chi-Chi, rush down the steps. "Something wrong, Chi-Chi?"

"Something wrong? Something wrong!?" Chi-Chi ran up to him. She grabbed her husband by the collar of his outfit and began to shake him. "Goten's missing, that's what! He's supposed to be heading off to school soon, but he's not here!"

"M-ma-aybe he's j-just al-ready there?" Goku suggested, his words stuttered from his wife's actions.

Chi-Chi stopped shaking her husband, placing her hands on her hips. "He's not, because his school bag is still here." Chi-Chi held the bag up for him to see.

Goku nodded his head, which was a signal to his wife that he didn't fully understand. Sighing at him for what seemed like an eternity, Chi-Chi looked him in the eye. "We can't let him get away with skipping school, Goku."

"He's a growing boy, Chi-Chi. He's allowed a bit of freedom." Goku smiled.

"Not at the cost of his education! Go find him and drag his butt to school!" Chi-Chi shoved the school bag into Goku's hands.

Her husband visibly complained. "Aw! But do I have too? I was about to go ask Whis for some train-" Goku stopped speaking when the infuriated look on his wife's face told him her stance on the topic. "Got it! I'll go fetch Goten!" Goku began scurrying out of the house.

Chi-Chi relaxed, shaking her head. She turned around and saw the lone capsule sitting on the dining table. "Oh, right!" She grabbed the capsule and tossed it to her husband. "Goku! Take this to Goten as well!"

Goku caught the capsule and stared at it. "What's this?"

"His school lunch."

"Lunch!? Can I have some!?"

"When you get back you can have some lunch. So, you better not eat your son's lunch before you give it to him!" Chi-Chi ordered.

"Don't worry, Chi-Chi! I won't have a bite!" Goku promised before leaving their home.

The Ox-princess stared at the door for a few more moments before letting out an exasperated sigh. "He's going to eat it all…"

Son Goku allowed his mind to extend to sense for his youngest son's KI. "Huh, there he is. Why is he going to Gohan, though?" Goku scratched his head in confusion. "Oh, Trunks is with him too! Heh, I don't see what Chi-Chi was so worried about. Goten's not by himself at all!" Goku chuckled. Placing two fingers to his forehead, the Earth Saiyan prepared to teleport to his son.

That was until he looked down at the food capsule in his hands. "Well…I could just fly after them and get a little bite of this food myself. Ch-Chi'll never find out." Praising himself for the well thought out plan, Goku took to the skies to chase his son.

"Are you sure this was a good idea, Trunks?" Son Goten asked. The teen was dressed in a long green, buttoned shirt with a purple undershirt. His lower half was covered by black pants and black shoes. His long black hair bellowed in the wind, having long since changed his style to avoid being mistaken for his father.

Flying next to him was his life-long best friend Trunks Briefs. The other teen was dressed in a purple vest with a black shirt underneath. His lower half was covered by blue jeans and black shoes with red outlines. His hair color was a bright blue, Trunks had dyed it a few years prior so that he could match his future counterpart. "You gotta relax, Goten? When have I ever steered you wrong?"

"Uh-"

"Don't answer that." Trunks cut him off. "Look, there's this crazy candy store in that city your brother moved to. Figured we could go check it out."

"And we had to skip school because of this?" Goten raised a brow.

"Would you really rather go to school than hang out with your best friend?"

"You know who my mom is, right?"

"Look, we'll quickly head to this store, buy what I need, then head off to school. It'll be quick and easy. What's the worst that could happen?" Trunks said.

"Your dad shows up."

Trunks sweated a bit. "Okay…that would be the worst-case scenario. But I have faith that he'll be too busy training to interfere."

Goten wished he could be as lax as Trunks about this situation. His mother was going to kill him the moment he got home for skipping out on school like this. Well, if he was going to be dead anyway then he might as well pay Gohan a visit while they're here too. "Let's stop at Gohan's too afterwards. I want to pay him, Videl, and Pan a visit."

"Sure."

"Hey, Trunks?"

"Yeah, Goten?"

"Does this country even take Zeni?"

….

….

….

"Stopping at a bank first then…!" Trunks changed directions with Goten following close behind.

"Thanks for inviting me, Yuri." Yor smiled at her little brother. The two Briar siblings were walking through the busy sidewalk, enjoying each other's company. Though, one was enjoying it a little too much.

"Of course, Yor! I'd take you anywhere you want!" Yuri Briar exclaimed, happily. He was a well-built young man with short black hair and piercing red eyes. In a way Yuri looked like a male version of his older sister. He was dressed in a dark coat with black pants visible underneath.

Continuously oblivious to her brother's obsessiveness, Yor just smiled. "It's a shame we couldn't bring Loid or Anya with us, I'm sure they would've enjoyed this candy shop as well."

Yuri's mood visibly soured at the mention of Loid and Anya. While he held a small amount of care for the chihuahua girl, he absolutely detested Loid Forger with a passion. The bastard had swooped in and taken his sister without his notice. It infuriated Yuri to no end that Loid Forger was seemingly the perfect man, who brought such a bright smile for Yor. Yuri was happy to know that this outing could just be him and his sister.

Nothing was going to ruin this outing!

"Goten! Watch it!"

"Guh!" Yuri grumbled when he felt himself hit a brick wall and fall onto his rear. It was weird, because they were walking on the sidewalk and there shouldn't have been any brick walls in their path.

"Yuri, are you okay!?"

"Oh, sorry, sir!"

Looking up, Yuri saw Goten standing in front of him with his hand outstretched. Yor was knelt down by his side to make sure that he was okay. The secret officer's confusion only grew as he took in the teenager's appearance. There shouldn't have been any way that this kid could knock him over, even if he wasn't fully paying attention. Yuri took Goten's hand and was shocked yet again when the kid easily lifted him up.

"Sorry, sir. I didn't mean to knock you over. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Goten apologized, scratching the back of his head.

"Goten, you idiot. I told you to stick close to me." Trunks came up from behind.

"You said it was in this direction." Goten frowned.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean run ahead of me! Seriously, I thought you grew out of doing stuff like this!" Trunks argued.

"I thought you grew out of being mean." Goten pouted.

"I was never mean! I'm just the mature one between the two of us!"

"Um, excuse me?" The soft voice brought the teens' attention back to the siblings in front of them.

"Oh sorry. I'll apologize for my friend here. He's kinda clueless about stuff." Trunks apologized.

Yor shook her head. "It's no big deal! Right, Yuri?" Yor turned to her brother, but his attention wasn't much on the conversation.

The secret officer was doing his best to figure out the abnormal moment prior. "Was he using some kind of strength enhancing drug? It's not rare for kids these days to be caught using them to better themselves at sports. Though, he doesn't look like the type to do anything like that but looks can always be deceiving." Yuri shifted his gaze to Trunks. "And this one. He looks familiar, where have I seen him before-"

"YURI!"

"Eh?" Yor's shout had brought him out of his thoughts. The younger Briar found himself being stared at by his sister and the teens. "R-right! Whatever you say, Yor!" Yuri agreed with his sister, whether or not he knew what she said earlier.

"See! All's well!" Yor happily clapped her hands. "Though, I do wonder what you two are doing out here. Shouldn't you be in school?"

Trunks clicked his tongue. "Tch. I don't really need school. My mom just enrolled me, because I should be used to being around people my own age." Trunks shook his head at his mother's own hypocrisy. His grandmother had told him stories of his mom skipping school all the time, because she felt too smart for it. "We're here for the new candy shop that opened up. That's why my friend here was running ahead. I told him to wait up, because we don't know our way around here."

Yor nodded her head. "That's a surprise, we're just going to it now. We could take you there since we know the city."

Yuri gaped at Yor's suggestion. "Like hell I want a bunch of brats tagging along with us! This is just supposed to be my day with Yor! There's no way I'll let this-"

"Sure."

"Yeah, it'll be fun!"

Yuri gaped at the teens this time, surprised that two kids would agree to tag along with two complete strangers in a city they were unfamiliar with. "Just who the hell are these brats anyway?"

His sister's attitude was a lot different. "Wonderful! Oh, we haven't introduced ourselves yet. My name is Yor Forger, and this is my brother Yuri. Say hi, Yuri."

"Hn."

"The hell's your problem?" Trunks raised a brow. "I'm Trunks."

"I'm Son Goten." Goten introduced himself. His name brought a shocked expression to Yor's features.

"Son? Like, Son Gohan?"

This time it was Goten's turn to be shocked. "Huh? How do you know my brother?"

"I met his wife Videl a few days ago. My family and I are having dinner with them tomorrow." Yor informed them.

Once again Yuri stared at his sister in shock. "F-family dinner with a bunch of strangers!? B-but I wasn't told about this! Do I no longer count as family, Yor!?" Yuri fell to his knees in distraught, alarming his companions. The male Briar began banging his fists against the concrete. "Curse you, Loid Forger! You've tainted my sister's image of family yet again!"

Somewhere stationed out on a secret mission, Twilight sneezed loudly.

"Is he okay?" Trunks pointed at the downed Yuri.

Yor waved it off. "Yuri gets a bit excited at times. I bet he can't wait to try out that candy."

"Yeah, no, it looks as if he's planning to curse someone with a demonic ritual." Trunks deadpanned.

Goten was just as oblivious to Yuri's plight as Yor. "Sweet! I also can't wait to try out that candy! I missed breakfast this morning too." Goten rubbed his stomach.

"Then we better get a move on. Follow me." Yor motioned for the boys to follow her. As the three walked down the street, Yuri was still too busy cursing Loid's name to the heavens. When he finally realized that his sister was far down the road Yuri jumped up.

"YOR! WAIT FOR ME!" Yuri chased down his sister.

"Yum! These are so good!" Goten happily bit into his chocolate bar. He, Trunks, and the Briar siblings were sitting on a nearby park bench. The four had gotten their candy and were enjoying it together.

Well, Yuri was focusing on only Yor. Doing his best to ignore the Demi-Saiyans.

Trunks finished up his bag of candy. "Totally worth the trip." He agreed with his best friend.

Yuri was holding up a piece of his chocolate bar to Yor. "Here, Yor, try a piece of this one-"

"Hey, Mrs. Yor, how did you meet Videl?" Goten asked. His inquiry had shifted Yor's focus off of Yuri, infuriating the secret officer.

Yor smiled at the memory of her first real friend. "When I was walking my dog Bond, we found her dojo. She invited me to come spar with her as a lesson for her class. It was very fun to practice with her!"

"Woah! You can fight!?" That piece of information seemed to have grabbed the boys' attention the most.

Yor blushed, trying to not reveal too much. "N-not much. Just practiced self-defense when I was younger."

Trunks didn't seem to buy it as he felt out her KI, noticing how much stronger it was compared to most normal people. It confused him as to why such a normal looking woman had such fierce-like energy. "Yeah, I don't buy that for a second."

Goten bought it completely. "That's so cool! I bet Videl gave you a hard time in that case. She's pretty strong." Goten hadn't meant anything mean about it, but Yuri had taken it as an insult.

"Hey, watch how you speak about Yor! Nobody could beat Yor, especially not some wannabe karate teacher!" Yuri exclaimed.

"Yuri!" Yor gasped.

Goten frowned at the younger Briar. The man's KI had been nothing but hostile since he and Trunks met the siblings, he didn't pay much mind to it since Yor was so nice. But the guy just insulted his sister-in-law and Videl didn't deserve such disrespect. "Hey, it's not nice to insult people like that! I didn't say anything bad about Mrs. Yor either. Videl is just strong!"

"Yor is stronger! I bet she's even stronger than that brother of yours!"

Goten shook his head, intending to defend his brother now. "Gohan is super strong! He helped mom raise me after dad died!"

"So, what? Yor raised me all on her own after our parents passed away! Which makes her stronger! Hahahahaha!" Yuri laughed triumphantly over the teenager.

Goten knew that it was bait, but the young Saiyan possessed the brain power of his father. Which meant that he still had the tendency to run his mouth when he knew he shouldn't. "Oh yeah? Well, my brother saved the world! He defeated C-"

SMACK!

Both siblings jumped back as Goten's body plummeted into the dirt below, kicking up a big dust cloud. Trunks stood over his best friend, glaring down at him. "Goten, you idiot! Watch what you say!"

Goten stuck his head out of the ground, chuckling sheepishly. "Oh right, sorry, Trunks."

The siblings stared at the two, baffled about how Goten went from upset to cheerful again after getting hit by his best friend. And for once Yor was the one shocked by such a surprising show of strength. "When did teenagers get so strong?" Yor questioned.

Yuri was more focused on what Goten had said prior. "Gohan defeated who?" Before he could ask the question, something stopped him.

"Hey, Goten! Trunks!" The Briar siblings turned to see a man with the strangest hair they've ever seen walking over. He had a school bag over his shoulder and multiple empty boxed lunches in his arms.

"Dad!" Goten waved at his dad.

"Dad!? I thought his dad died!?" Both Briar siblings exclaimed mentally.

Trunks narrowed his eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, Chi-Chi wanted me to hand you this and your lunch." Goku gave his son his school bag and one half eaten box of food.

Goten gaped at the boxed lunch and the other ones in Goku's arms. "Dad! You ate my lunch!?"

"No…" Goku attempted to hide them behind his back.
"I already saw them! That trick won't work!"

Goku scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, son. I just couldn't help myself. You know your mom's cooking is too good to resist."

Goten nodded his head in understanding. "Yeah, but I can't eat just this! I need more!"

Trunks shrugged his shoulders. "Let's just stop by Gohan's place. I'm sure Videl could make us something to eat."

"Oh, that's a great idea, Trunks!"

"Yeah, I could go for some more food!" Both father and son were already anticipating their next meal. "C'mon, you two. I'll use Instant Transmission to get us there faster." Goku ordered. The two listened and grabbed his shoulders.

Goten waved goodbye to the Briar siblings. "Thanks for helping us get those candies. See you guys later."

"Later."

They were confused by the sudden goodbyes and were going to question everything that was happening until the three vanished into thin air. Leaving no traces that they were there previously.

Yor could only blink, trying to somehow make sense of what just happened but she couldn't. Usually, the Forgers were seen as the weird ones out of everyone else's normality, but somehow since meeting the Sons she had begun to wonder if that were really true. And this recent meeting with Goten and his seemingly alive father had just elevated.

It seems that the Forgers weren't the only abnormal family in this world of normal.

"Uh, Goku?"

"Yeah, Videl?" Goku asked as he finished his 5th plate of food. Next to him was Goten and Trunks, both still eating as well.

"Someone on the phone wants to speak with you." Videl handed Goku her phone. Goku took the phone and put it up to his ear.

"Hello-

"GOKU, WHERE IS MY GOTEN!?"

Goku flew back into the wall from the force of Chi-Chi's shout. Goten wisely hurried out of the house and flew off to school before his mother could realize he was there. Trunks followed suit, knowing that his mother might also be trying to find him soon.

"GOKU!" Chi-Chi screamed.

Videl just shook her head at the three troublesome Saiyans that never seemed to learn. It was a good thing that Gohan had common sense.

Chapter End

NOTE: Hope you all enjoyed!

While Gohan and Videl do their best to seem normal neither Goten nor Goku have such restrictions. They just embrace their weird without wondering how that's going to affect other people. Like, Goku is a direct contrast to the ideal normal that the Forgers chase after. That's why Goten, Trunks, nor Goku saw nothing wrong with just teleporting away in front of Yor and Yuri.

The whole point of this chapter was mainly for Yor to see that there's another family out there that doesn't necessarily fit the world's idea of normal. And yes, everything she saw here will be brought up next chapter.

Gohan and Videl now have to play damage control to their best ability.

I tried not to make Yuri look like a complete creep here. He's still overly obsessed with his sister.

This will be the only time Goku, Chi-Chi, and Goten appear in this story. I just felt like they should appear since they're also Gohan's family. Sucks to be Ox-King, because I did forget about him until now. He was mentioned and that's all he's getting.

Goten and Trunks trusting random strangers is in character, because there's nothing Yor or Yuri could possibly do to hurt them. Trunks also doesn't tell them about his full name for that reason.
