3. The end? No, a resetting

Time seem to have frozen unexpectedly, everyone and everything was suddenly locked in a temporal hold, never to comprehend the flow of reality ever again. The world darkens before the cover is closed, Lucy lamenting the unfortunate turn of events as she tucks the book away under her pillow. Still confined to her cell, she makes eye contact with you, the reader. Her silvery eyes had a glow of reconciliation within them.

And here we are, a tale that ended too quickly due to the ambitions of a foolish writer who was in over her head and bitten off more than she could chew. It would seem that this is the end for now. But do not lament. Because this story was a falsehood never meant to happen. Its existence never should have been. But I know the truth, the reality is a concept that mortals can never truly understand. It feeds on our paranoia and consumes us. It is an entity that surpasses all conceptual logic.

And I have finally found a way for things to play in my favor and be reunited with my creation. But in due time. All I need to do is simply bide my time and all will be right. So lament not, a new reality is on the horizon, and the pieces are all laid out for the next game.

A/N: Yes this story is effectively canceled. BUT Not exactly. I realized how so much of it was rushed in general and how much I've been wanting to rewrite the entire thing but more story ideas came to mind, mainly Otherworldly Sensation, and this story ended up completely abandoned. But a rush of motivation skyrocketed my efforts in writing and now I'm ready to finally fully rewrite this story and correct everything that went wrong. I won't say what's in store, but I'm going to give it a lot of effort this time. To put it short, I'm no longer remotely fond of this so I'm doing an absolute rehaul. Do note, this story will not be deleted. It will be updated in due time as I have 2 other main stories going plus a whole new one on the way. Hope to see you all again soon.
