Theres no way that I can tell him
Now he knows that I'm a felon
To make it short- I am a demon
Only half-
But thats for sure.
And he tells me-
Nevermore.
So I ask him what he speaks of
Could he mean that this is true love?
But as I strain in my persistence-
He replies with-
Nevermore.
What is this? You cannot tell me?
Is it because you dream of lovely?
Lovely faces that are no more?
And he whispers-
Nevermore.
So as I take my leave of this procession
leaving my most prized possession
and although he knows not of this-
I plan to see him-
Nevermore.
But oft I thought of my liaison
Though when I left I had good reason,
or so I thought
until they told me-
Nevermore.
So search did I, but could not find him
I was lost with chances dim
Slowly fear became my ally
For would I see him...
Nevermore?
Panic struck when he was found
Suddenly I came unwound
lost my mind
because without him
my whole meaning was-
Nevermore.
Discovered I, his spirit banished.
His life had completely vanished
Never to return to us
For he thought I loved him-
Nevermore.
