In the plane, Frost, along with his friends for trustworthiness sake, get the mission briefing.
Overlord: A familiar source explains that terrorists from an "African Coalition" in Sierra Leone have helped Vladimir Makarov ship the chemical weapons used for the attack to his shell companies: Fregata Industries and Charity Worldwide.
Frost: Ah, from ours truly. Well, he's been right before. I don't see why not.
Overlord: Noted. He's also marked the intel stashes via GPS. You should be able to find it once you're on the ground. Be advised - we have a Reaper Drone in the AO now. It's another reason why this is actionable. As well as a ground convoy in civilian vehicles for insertion and extraction. They'll link up with you in the LZ. Rest up, rearm and be ready to drop. 18:00:57, in this mission, Civilian Frost returns, and he will be a skydiver, posing as a Make-A-Wish Foundation asset along with Darkstar 4-1, the Reaper Drone, and the convoy. With his clandestine setup, parachute gear, GPS tracker and laser designator, he heads off and the mission is a go.
5 miles from the African Militia's HQ, the three car convoy full of undercover ISA (Intelligence Support Activity) operators meets Frost waiting at the LZ with his parachute neatly packed. With the cover still up, no friendly on the ground is packing a weapon.
Needing to steal one again and knowing the HQ's layout, Frost sneaks through the back of the church, subdues the first terrorist he sees, commandeers his AKM assault rifle, and kills everyone in the room. After that, he gets a nearby Dragunov SVD, Colt M1911A1 pistol, four Frag Grenades and four mags for each gun, and then reports to Overlord.
Frost: Overlord, Metal 0-4 is in the AO. Ready and standing by for tasking.
Overlord: Hostiles have gone low tech to avoid detection. Intercept paper communications to locate the targets.
Frost: Roger. Scanning now.
Frost then encounters three automated sentry guns and two enemy patrols with a couple of hyenas who are responding to the gunfire in the church. After killing them, he finds and scans the three marked communications outposts.
In the first outpost.
Frost: This one says they've recently installed automated sentry guns provided by the Russian Ultranationalists. To counter more incursions like the one yesterday. Looks like our source really was here.
Overlord: Agreed.
Frost: Guess he's kicked their asses so hard that they've decided to make a few changes.
In the second outpost.
Frost: This is full of reports from the Coalition's head honcho. No specific locations of origin. But these were sent by some warlord and war criminal named Waraabe. Despite being terrorists and outlaws now, he and his inner circle stick to their military roots. He's got a colonel, major, captain and lieutenant.
Overlord: Good copy, 0-4. We'll run it up the chain when the mission's done.
Frost: Copy, moving on.
In the third outpost.
Frost: Now this comms outpost points to a safe house in the middle of the village. Close to the two more GPS signals.
Overlord: Overlord copies all. You are cleared to head for the other markers.
Frost: 0-4's on the move.
Further into the village, Frost kills five more patrols with his AKM, destroys four more sentry guns with his Dragunov, and puts down four more hyenas with his M1911A1. Once in the clear, he follows the two more GPS signals that lead to two more outposts.
In the fourth outpost.
Frost: This says the African Coalition has successfully transferred the hostages it has taken from foreign humanitarian NGOs out of the country the moment our source attacked. The captives are now in Bosaso, Somalia.
Overlord: Bravo Zulu, 0-4. This is a great find.
Frost: Always happy to shed light on a dire but subtle situation.
In the fifth outpost.
Frost: Jackpot! This comms outpost reports that Waraabe's lieutenant and major are in town, currently holding out in that recently identified safe house.
Overlord: That's the full confirmation for a fire mission we need. Get to an elevated position and hold for further orders.
Frost: Moving.
In the outskirs of the middle village, Frost finds the same mortar tower that Price's JTF took during their time there. On top, he sees the death and destruction they've laid on the African Coalition who were after them from the middle village, but finds the safe house still intact and occupied by Waraabe's lieutenant and major.
Frost: Overlord, 0-4 is overlooking the middle village and the safe house. The lieutenant and major are confirmed present.
Overlord: Copy. Hold that position and await target designation.
Ten seconds later.
Overlord: Reaper Drone in position. Paint the target, 0-4.
Frost: Safe house locked on visible. Switching to IR.
Overlord: Coordinates acquired. Target is good.
Frost looks through the Dragunov's scope to see the impact. What he sees is the safe house leveled and what's left of the officers launched in the air, obliterated.
Boom boom boom boom*
Frost: Good affect on target! Lieutenant and Major obliterated.
Overlord: Good job, team. Comence SSE, bring it in.
ISA TL: Copy that, Overlord. Moving to the GPS locations now.
Frost: Roger that, moving to assist.
Frost and the ISA finish up by cleaning out all the outposts. After gathering the intel along with Rook's markers, they return to base via convoy being airlifted in a secluded RV to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
