Addison was roused from sleep slowly, but she didn't want to leave her dream behind. She was with Zed and he was busy showering her with kisses from her cheeks, to her lips, and down the side of her neck. It was so real, it was like she could feel the cool press of his lips against her skin everywhere he made contact. She could feel herself waking up more, but she fought to stay in dreamland as the visions of Zed's handsome face disappeared from her mind, but she could still feel his kisses continuing for some reason.

She finally gave up completely, but when she opened her eyes, she realized what was going on, in the half-light from the sunrise shining through the curtains, she could see Zed's head currently pressed close to her cheek for a few moments until he noticed her smiling up at him.

"Good morning Addie, did you sleep well?"

"You bet I did, in fact, I was having the best dream ever, or well, I thought I was, but real life has nothing on my dreams." Addison reached out to pull herself closer to him.

"Did you like that? I figured that would be more enjoyable than just shaking you awake." Zed grinned in at her in just the right way to make her melt even more.

"How are you so perfect? You are literally the best boyfriend I could ever ask for."

"And you are the best girlfriend ever. So, still feel like taking an early morning dip in the pool?"

"More than anything." Addison grinned back excitedly.

"OK then, I'll go put on my trunks." Zed pulled himself up from the bed for a moment, but before he could escape Addison grabbed the neck of his T-shirt to pull him back down.

Addison captured his lips for a quick peck. "You didn't think you could leave without me giving you a good morning kiss too, did you?"

"Of course not. I'll be right back faster than you can say brains." Zed grinned down at her and walked over to the bathroom.

Addison sighed in happiness and pulled herself up to lean back against her pillows. As she grew more and more awake, she couldn't help fantasizing over what they would be doing in a few minutes as new visions began dancing in her head, so many possibilities, and all of them sounded…what was the word…? Delicious.

"The bathroom's all yours Addie." Zed whispered as he stepped out, clad in his green trunks and a gray T-shirt.

"OK." Addison grabbed a T-shirt and some shorts of her own and ran excitedly into the bathroom to change.

A few minutes later she was all ready to go too. So, hand in hand they walked out of the room to the elevator and traveled down to the pool. Thankfully it was deserted this early in the morning. Right now, the last thing either of them wanted was any interruptions.

"Looks like we're all alone," Zed said.

"Thank Z, I was hoping we would be."

"Me too. I would have gone full zom if I knew we had to share." Zed set his towel on a nearby chair.

"No you wouldn't have, although if I was a zombie, you'd probably have to hold me back, whether I had a Z-band or a moonstone." Addison joked.

"Well, the important thing is we're all alone." Zed grinned, "Are you ready Gorgeous?" Zed's hands reached down to pull off his T-shirt.

"Oh yeah," Addison said, swallowing loudly as Zed grabbed the bottom of his T-shirt and pulled it up over his head, slowly, in fact deliberately slowly. Addison was pretty sure he knew he was torturing her, but she didn't care, she would gladly watch this show all day.

Addison's eyes couldn't help traveling from the gray outline of his abs that slowly appeared one by one and on up to his muscular chest and his flexing arms, finally returning to his handsome face once he pulled his shirt off completely. Her mind felt like a fog, she wanted that image locked in her brain forever.

"Addison? Do you need some water?" Zed joked.

"Ohh, I need something," Addison said, looking up at Zed with a fire in her eyes that he had only seen a handful of times, but which made his heart beat faster than anything else.

"While I don't mind you staring all day, I think it's your turn now." Zed leered down at her with an expression identical to hers.

"Oh right, sorry I'm distracted, something in here is making it really hard for me to focus." Addison kept grinning back at him with a dark look in her eye.

"I know, the chlorine is so thick in here." Zed joked, "I'm sure I'll be just like you in a few minutes if we're not careful."

"Well, we don't want that do we?" Addison kicked her shorts off, to reveal her pink bottoms and then lifted her T-shirt off over her head.

Zed did his best not to outright stare, but he also knew he was failing miserably, but she was just so perfect from her smooth legs and flat, slightly muscular stomach, and to her inviting chest, Zed fought with everything he had to glance up and while it took some effort, he did meet her eyes again, but he was still pretty sure she had the exact same expression he did.

"Have I ever told you how much I love swimming with you?" Zed pulled her close to him, so they only had a few inches between them.

"I think I heard it vaguely." Addison tapped her chin playfully.

"Well let me say it again. Because girl you look delicious." Zed said, just the faintest trace of a growl in his voice.

Addison shuddered for a moment, and Zed noticed immediately and thought the worst. "I'm sorry! That just came out, don't worry my moonstone-!" Zed hurriedly let go of Addison and took two steps back.

"What? Zed no, it's ok, remember everything we did with your zombie when we figured out the moonstone?" Addison didn't look away from his panicked eyes for a moment.

"Yeah, but I don't want to do anything that-"

"Zed, stop, I know you won't do anything." Addison stepped closer, hugged him tightly, and then held up her bracelet. "Remember what the heart means? Because I do. Because I know you can hear me right now, and you should know I will always love you, and I will always protect you, your heart belongs to me, and my heart belongs to you and only you. And beyond anything else, I know that's true about both sides of you."

"I know Addie, I'm sorry."

"It's ok Zed. You can trust yourself." Addison reached up to gently caress his cheek. "We literally spent weeks proving that we can all trust everyone Z-band or no Z-band, but I will always trust you above anyone else. You don't need to hide from me.

"Always." Zed hugged her tight once again. "Its just, when you look like that, let's say my zombie side is a bit…louder than normal…and he's got some…creative ideas."

"It's OK, but Zed, blame your zombie all you want, but I think part of that is just being a teenager, trust me, you really don't want to know what I'm thinking about right now." Addison bit her lip and looked up at Zed through her eyelashes.

"Oh I don't, do I?" Zed let a little bit of humor return to his eyes as he relaxed further.

"Well, I actually thought of this a few weeks ago but…so the Fourth when we went to the beach and you went a little zombie when you carried me there?"

"Yeah?"

"Ever since then I've wanted to know what full zom you looks like without a shirt on." Addison blushed, but she didn't feel embarrassed in the slightest.

"Oh really?" Zed raised his eyebrows in question and he seemed to be calming down even more.

"Yes really, so trust me, you aren't the only one with a hungry zombie inside of you."

"Somehow I don't think hungry is the right word. But I will always be happy to give you what you want."

"Really?"

"Really, but also, I promise if you tell me to stop at any point, I will stop because we both care about you way too much."

"You aren't a monster Zed. I love you."

"I love you too." Zed bent his head down to capture her lips in a tender kiss.

"I want to see how much all of you loves me," Addison whispered to him, they were still standing so close, her breath tickled his nose.

"How can I ever tell you no?" Zed smiled.

"You can if you want though." Addison stopped him with a serious look right into his eyes, "I understand if you think it's too big of a risk, even though I know it's not true."

"No, you're right, I know I have nothing to worry about, because as long as we're together, nothing can go wrong." Zed squeezed her hand tighter for a moment.

Zed took her hand and started walking over to the hot tub. "If we're doing this, we might as well do this right." He grinned at her.

"Yeah, I totally agree." Addison stepped down into the warm water a few steps after Zed and they both relaxed in the warmth for a few moments before coming together again.

Zed sat down on the bench below the water and Addison walked over and sat in his lap while facing him with her legs resting on the outside of his hips. She circled her arms around his neck and gave him a kiss.

"Gar Gar Gaza Zed."

"Gar Gar Gaza Addie. Are you sure about this?"

"I'm sure as long as you are."

"And you can stop me at any time."

"I know, but I know I won't have to. Let's do this Zed. I love you."

"I love you too."

Zed closed his eyes for a moment and focused inward on himself. Thanks to the moonstone, his brain was no longer divided in two by a wall keeping his zombie instincts contained, but when it was just him and Addison like this, his zombie side was much louder than normal, just as excited for this moment as he was. He slowly relaxed and then felt new strength and power coursing through his veins. He opened his eyes, and he could see the dark veins traveling down his arms and circling around his chest. He looked down at Addison who seemed to just be staring in rapture, and his zombie side felt the exact same thing he did, unending happiness and love that he was with her.

"Addiska." Zed growled softly.

Addison looked up again, her eyes had been tracing every line she could as his veins started traveling down his arms, she had seen his arms bulge with power like that plenty of times before, but now seeing his upper body…he was breathing slightly deeper than normal, and his already toned chest seemed to grow even more taught. The dark veins traced patterns all over his body, and she clearly see them circling around his heart, which she knew without a doubt, was beating for her.

"Zedski." Addison whispered back. At the sound of her voice, Zed's hands tightened their grip around her waist and pulled her closer, then once they made contact, Addison's mind went blank.

Zed was kissing her, and holding nothing back. Their lips crashed together, and it was only a moment before their tongues started dancing together. Addison didn't even know what was happening, Zed was taking charge. They were pressed chest to chest and Addison felt absolutely adored. His hands were moving up and down her sides, their touch holding more strength and power than normal that she could feel, but she could also feel the reverence Zed had, he was much stronger, but she knew she had nothing to worry about, she just wanted to melt into him even more. She felt like a fire had been ignited inside her, and it was so much hotter than the hot tub.

Zed would occasionally let out low growls or snarls, or scattered zombietongue words, and every single one sent a shiver of delight down her spine. She was right about her theory, Zed was always the hottest person in the world to her, but this right now, making out with full zom Zed was one of the hottest things ever.

Zed was still himself on the inside, and he knew he was maybe being a bit more aggressive with showing Addison how much he loved her than normal, but with every moan she let out in their scattered moments to take a breath in between their kisses, every sound she made only spurred him on further, not to mention the sound of her heartbeat, he was pretty sure his own was racing in perfect sync with hers. Feeling her so pressed so close to him, everything she was doing was making him feel absolutely alive and only made him bolder and more confident in himself as they continued.

Zed stood up in the water and walked out to the middle of the hot tub with his eyes still closed. He felt Addison grab onto his shoulders when before her hands had been exploring his chest and sending fire through his veins wherever she touched him. She brought her legs up to straddle his waist.

Without even thinking about it, Zed's hands reached down, cupped her butt, and gave it a squeeze. She moaned even more into their kiss, but then Zed's eyes shot open and he pulled away just a bit and moved her hands safely away to her thighs instead.

Addison opened her eyes and looked up at him in confusion. "What's wrong?"

"I'm so sorry Addison!" Zed still looked full zombie and he had a slight growl to his voice, and he was doing his best not to go back on the attack. "I didn't mean to, it was an accident. I'm sorry."

"What? Oh, Zed." Addison pulled herself up closer to him, their noses almost touching, and she looked right into to his panicked, still dark looking eyes. "Its ok. I'm not mad. I love you."

"You're not?"

"Did you really think I wouldn't be? I was the one who suggested we do this in the first place. But I know its farther than we've had a chance to go before, so I understand completely if you want to stop. It's your choice too Zed." Addison never broke eye contact with him.

"No, I don't want to stop. I love you too, and this feels amazing. But just to be safe, can I touch your butt?" Zed asked, a bit awkwardly.

"Yes, you may. Seriously how are you so perfect?" Addison gave him a quick kiss of adoration. She knew even now he would never do anything to hurt her.

"I'm only perfect because you are. But just to be clear, we won't go any further?"

"No, let's just enjoy this. But before we do anything else, is there anything you don't want me to do?"

"Everything you do feels amazing Addie. You and only you can do whatever you want, I won't complain."

"OK, but you can still stop me at any time."

"And you can always stop me," Zed replied back.

"Gar Gar Gaza Zed."

"Gar Gar Gaza Addie."

Their lips met once again, and they resumed their previous rhythm with each other, perfectly in sync. Addison's hands continued to roam over all his muscles and bulging veins, and after a few minutes Zed worked up the courage to squeeze her butt again, and Addison made sure to show him what he was making her feel even more and erasing any doubts he had about how much she trusted him.

Zed let all his fears wash away, and he did his best to trust himself, Addison was making it well aware that she didn't think he was doing anything wrong, and so he continued to enjoy himself to the fullest.

Countless kisses later Addison opened her eyes again and met Zed's dark eyes. Without speaking they met for one last kiss that instead of the countless flurry of kisses that had preceded it, this one was instead, sweet, tender, and drawn out. They both held on until they had to separate for breath and then finally pulled away from each other, just enough to give them some breathing room, but still entirely surrounded by each other.

Addison rested her head on Zed's shoulder, and out of the corner of her eye, she could see the dark veins disappearing back into his pale gray skin. His hold on her loosened for a moment as his zomboosted strength disappeared until he was holding her gently as he sat back down on the bench.

"Gar Gar Gaza Addie." Zed whispered in her ear.

"Gar Gar Gaza Zed," Addison whispered back and pressed one more kiss to his cheek.

"So, um, did you have as much fun as I just did?" Zed asked her after they caught their breath.

Addison sent him a knowing look. "I hope you already know the answer to that."

"You're right, I do. And you were really ok with everything?"

"Yes, there's no one in the world I trust more than you," Addison promised him. "But it does show me how you're even more perfect. Thank you for always being the greatest guy in the entire world. I know I will never have any worries when I'm with you."

"No problem, I couldn't live with myself if I ever hurt you, and I know I never could, whether I'm full zom or otherwise."

"I know that too," Addison promised.

"So, think we should get back up to the room soon?"

"Yeah, probably." Addison glanced over at the clock on the wall. "Your dad and Zoey are probably going to be up soon. But promise me we'll do this again?"

"You know since we're only here for a limited time, what do you say we do this tomorrow morning again? And the day after that, and the day after that, and the day after that?"

"I think that sounds like the most amazing idea ever. Sure you won't get sick of me?"

"I could never get sick of you. I love you."

"I love you too."

"We better get out then." Addison loosened her hold around Zed, and Zed released her from his hug Zed led the way up and out of the hot tub, Addison following right behind him. Zed had taken about three steps out of the water when suddenly Addison's hand squeeze his butt.

He glanced behind her in surprise to see Addison blushing beet red, but with a smile on her face. "Now do you know how I felt?"

"Yeah, I do." Zed grinned back at her.

"And do you see why you had nothing to worry about?"

"Yeah, I do," Zed nodded, "but you're in trouble now, my zombie's still in here, and he still hasn't had any breakfast today." Zed warned her playfully, while crouching down like he was about to tackle her in football, "you're playing a dangerous game."

"Oh am I? I can't wait to see what you have in store for tomorrow then."

"You ain't seen nothing yet. I'm going to show you exactly how the zombies do."

"I can't wait. I am so fired up for tomorrow already."

"Or we could head back right now." Zed wiggled his eyebrows flirtatiously and tilted his head back to the hot tub.

"I wish we could, but we really should get back to the room, and if we start something again, I don't know when we'll be able to stop ourselves."

"Tomorrow then, my love."

"Tomorrow." Addison agreed. "Gar Gar Gaza Zed." Addison stood up on her tiptoes to peck Zed's lips one more time.

"Gar Gar Gaza Addie." Zed replied.

They toweled themselves off and threw their clothes back on before heading up to the room. When they crept in, thankfully Zevon and Zoey were still both dead to the world. Zed offered to let Addison shower and change first, which she gladly accepted.

After Addison got of the shower, pulled some clothes on, and started drying her hair, she couldn't stop grinning even if she tried. She always had fun doing absolutely anything with Zed, but they hadn't gotten many chances to do anything like that before, not only was it fun, and definitely hot, she felt like she was filled to bursting with the love she had for Zed, and the love he had showered her with. Zed was always perfect, and no matter how he talked about his zombie side, she knew it was still just Zed. And if there was one thing that was true in the world, it was that she loved Zed, and Zed loved her more than anything else in the entire world.

And like Zed said, today had been new for them, and she loved every single second of it. She wouldn't have changed a thing. Even with the moonstone, Addison knew sometimes Zed was worried that when he let his zombie out that he was more dangerous, but she knew it wasn't true in the slightest. He was always just Zed.

Before she stepped out, she looked in the mirror and tried to fix her face, but she literally couldn't stop smiling, and she knew it would be even harder when she saw Zed again. She couldn't close her eyes without seeing anything but Zed in front of her, or feel the ghost of his hands holding onto her everywhere was giving her goosebumps even now.

By the time she walked out of the bathroom, all ready for the rest of their day, Zoey and Zevon were both awake. Zed switched places with her and then she turned on a cartoon to watch with Zoey while everyone took turns getting ready in the bathroom, but even still Addison still felt pretty distracted, there were a few times Zoey had to say something twice to her before she heard it.

Then when Zed came out of the bathroom after he was done, Addison felt so much better as he made a beeline to sit next to her on the bed so she could lean into his shoulder and hold his hand.

"I missed you Zed." She whispered.

"Already?"

"Yes already." Addison laughed. "I just love you so much."

"I love you too. By chance do I look like the Joker? Because I literally feel like I can't stop smiling." Zed looked down into her eyes while reaching over and gently playing with a strand of her hair.

"You look just as handsome as always, and what about me? I feel like I can't stop smiling either."

"You are always beautiful to me, and I know we might be crazy, but I wouldn't want us to be any other way."

"Me too."

"Alright you three who's ready for breakfast?" Zevon asked them after stepping out of the bathroom.

"Oh I am!" Zoey cheered.

"Me too, I'm starving! I really worked up an appetite." Zed whispered in Addison's ear.

"I wonder why? But I think it was well worth it." Addison giggled under her breath.

"You've got that right."

"Come on! What are you two whispering about?" Zoey asked them, hopping up and down at the door. "Whatever you've been whispering about all morning can wait. We have to hurry up and get to the zoo!"

"Don't worry Zoey we're coming," Zed said as he and Addison walked out the door with Zevon and Zoey, still hand in hand. "I'm sure all the animals will still be there even if we're a little late."

"But I want to see absolutely everything! Why aren't you excited? You and I have been talking about the zoo since we decided to go!"

"I am excited, but I'm excited about a lot of things. Don't worry Zoey, I'm sure we'll still be able to see everything."

"OK, but that doesn't mean we have to shuffle along. Let's get going!"

"Patience Zoey." Zevon cautioned her and put a hand on her shoulder to stop her from hopping around in the elevator. "Although, what is going on with you two?"

"Oh you know, we're just so rested, after sleeping in our super comfortable bed the past few nights." Zed supplied.

"Right, I'm sure that's it." Zevon shook his head at them. "It's the bed that's super comfortable and nothing else."

"What can I say, we're always at our best when we're together." Zed couldn't keep his eyes from flashing back to meet Addison's.

"And nothing will ever change that," Addison added.

"Right. We better get going though," Zevon ushered them along out, "before Zoey lets her inner zombie start roaring at us to hurry up."

"So Zed, are you excited?" Addison asked him.

"Of course I am, I've never been to a zoo before." Zed's voice lowered to a whisper as they walked down the hall to the elevator, "If you weren't here to distract me, I guarantee I'd be bouncing off the walls just like Zoey. I can't wait to see everything either."

"While I believe that, I'm also pretty sure you'd be a mess if I wasn't here with you. Because I would be too back in Seabrook."

"Guilty as charged, you'll never not distract me. But I really am excited. Will you be my personal tour guide?"

Addison shook her head in laughter. "As fun as that would be, I am in no way qualified to do that. But I'll do my best to make sure all of us have a great time."

"I know we will, 'cause I'm going to be spending all day holding your hand."

"That is if Zoey doesn't get in our way."

"I think we'll be fine, in fact, I guarantee she's going to be on my shoulders at some point to see everything, especially if there are crowds like Adventureland yesterday."

"Well, whatever happens, we'll make it work."

"Yeah, we will. And then tomorrow…"

"I'm already counting down the minutes," Addison promised him right before they stepped into the elevator with everyone else.
