Chapter 162: Backstory of Yakuza, Mimic, and Minder
On their way to Cadet 1a, Charming gets a flashback from his fight with Bouncer, who mocked him and teased him for his lack of strength before saying that there's no wonder why everyone loves Once-ler more than him. After Once-ler snaps her brother out of it, they reunite with the rest of their comrades before Cassandra told them that the cadets are so close, so they must stick together and take down whatever comes next in their way. Suddenly, the hero council came to them and told them that they must hurry because Overhaul is coming, which caused Charming to tell his comrades to split up so they can cover more ground. Team Charming then set off to find the cadets in an area until they found themselves in a maze because Mimic is enhancing his quirk with another drug, which caused the team to get frustrated as charming starts to think for a plan out of this. Suddenly, Once-ler got impatient and use her strength to break through the maze, causing Pomegranate to compliment her for her quick thinking as she and everyone else except Charming rushed ahead with their monster, which caused him to start getting flashback of the rumors and backlashes that's been happening until Ultra called him to help deal with Yakuza, Mimic, and Minder.
Soon, Charming catch up with everyone else as Yakuza, Mimic, and Minder themselves laugh mockingly before telling the heroes that everything was going smoothly until they show up, which is why they are going to get rid of them until Yakuza's dad shows up. Minder then told the heroes the history of the Yakuza and their goal to become the ruler of the underworld, which caused them to become disgusted until Sticky ask Charming what they are going to do. After Charming reminded everyone about the plan to take down the Devil Brats, Yakuza gives him a mischievous grin before calling Lord Demon on his watch, which caused parts of the agency to decay much to everyone's horror.
Yakuza then told Charming that if he calculated his plan right, he and his comrades wouldn't fall into a trap, causing Charming himself to become devastated as Yakuza recalled his childhood. Before the final battle between the heroes and the VOWD, Yakuza, Mimic, and Minder were born and kept safe by their parents until the war started. Soon, the wives of Overhaul, Mimic, and Chronostasis quickly put their respective son in a basket and send them away on a river. After being found three different villains, the boys got separated until their caretakers got arrested by villains. Five years later, they decided to release every villain from Dungeon Fortress (which includes the members of the Devil Brats) before getting the spell to bring Overhaul back to life. After ten years with the Devil Brats, Yakuza, Mimic, and Minder made a commitment to avenge All for one's legacy with their comrades and destroy peace and harmony, the flashback then ends with the Devil Brats killing the adults of the former Warcraft of Doom before making their way to Chaos Island to prepare to finish what the former Warcraft of Doom should've done.
