~ {?Elusive's POV?} ~
I was using my magic to put gems on to my newest creation as I put the last sapphire that I had I had completed my outfit just as I had done it the door of the boutique opens and the bell rings notifying me a customer had come in. "Coming! Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique, and magnifique." I say as I welcome the new customer only to gasp when I see who it is.
"Sapphire Shores! The pony of pop!" I say in shock of the pony that had just walked in my boutique. "Good afternoon, Mister Elusive!" Sapphire Shores says to me. "You yah... y-y-you know my name?" I say stammering. "Well, of course I do, darling. I make it a point to know all of the up-and-coming designers and Clothes Horse magazine simply raved about you." She tells me.
"Oh my stars. If I'm dreaming, do not wake me up. How may I help you, Miss Shores?" I ask her. "Oh please, call me Sapphire." She tells me. "[giggle] How may I help you, Sapphire?" I ask her.
"Well, as I'm sure you know, I'll be touring all of Equestria with my latest concert, Sapphire Shores' Ziegfilly Follies, so I need to look seeensational! Ow!" She tells me and I know just the outfit that would be perfect.
"I have just what you need. Sapphire Shores, prepare yourself for the pièce de résistance de la haute couture. I used every last diamond I found on this one garment." I show her the outfit that I had just finished making filled with rubies and sapphires.
"[gasp] And it is spectacular! I'll take it." Sapphire Shores tells me. "Really?" I say happily. "Oh yes, and five more, each done up in a different jewel." She says to me. "Beg pardon?" I ask. "Costume changes." She tells me making my eyes widen and I look at my jewel box only to see that it is empty and I faint. "[chuckle] Yes, I do have that effect on ponies." sapphire shores says as she leaves my boutique.
~ Later ~
"Oh my gosh! Sapphire Shores! The pony of pop! She is awesome! I mean, she's gorgeous and talented and — heh... and not even half the pony you are. I mean, you're ten times more gorgeous and talented and—" Barbara says to me as she helps me find more gems so I can make Sapphire Shores outfits.
"Barbara, a gentleman is never jealous." I tell her. "Eh, of course not. But were you totally flipping out or what?!" Barbara asks me. "Gentlemen do not "flip out", Barbara. However, I was quite in awe. Oh, I need to find more jewels than ever before to decorate her costumes. Oh, aha!" I say if I use my magic to locate more gems.
"Did you find some?" Barbara asks me. "Yes, Barbara! Right there!" I say as point to the pocket of gems buried in the soil and Barbara goes to dig them out. "Ooooo! You look so delicious..." Barbara says as she drools over the gems.
"Barbara! I promised I'd give you gems to snack on, but we need to collect more first or I'll never be able to make these outfits for Sapphire." I remind her as she almost eats the gems. "Hm... I will miss you, my sweets." She says as she puts the gems in the wagon. "Come along, Barbara. We have many jewels to find." I tell the baby dragon. "At your service, milord." she says as she follows me with the wagon.
I show the baby dragon where the gems are and she digs up more gems and she has them in her mouth I give her a look and she reluctantly put the gems in the wagon.
"Barbara!" I call for her and show her where the gems are located so she can take them up she uses her tail as a shovel to dig up the gems and she adds them into the wagon. The next pocket of gems I find she uses her tail as a jackhammer to get them out.
A little while later we have a decent amount of gems for Sapphire Shores outfits. Barbara stares at the gems drooling at them. "You've been very patient today, Barbara. And for that you get the finest reward. This is from me to you." I say to her as I grab a blue gem and I hand it to her with my magic. "Is something wrong, Barbara?" I asked her as I thought she would eat the gem immediately but she just held it.
"No. It's perfect." She tells me as she cuddles the gem that I had given her. "Ooo, bring the cart, Barbara. There are more over here." I say to her as my magic detects more gems nearby. "For me. From Elusive." Barbara says but I was too far away to hear her.
~ Diamond Dogs POV ~
"Yesss, gemsss. Gemsss!" Rover says. "Where?" Fido asks as they spy on Barbara from the bushes. "Preciousss gemsss! She is the gem hunter. With her we can have all those gems... and more! Let's get the dragon." Rover says.
"Barbara! Where are you?" Elusive calls for the dragon. "Wait! Who is that?" Rover says as they look and see a unicorn. "You know, it's terrible to keep a gent waiting." Elusive says to Barbara. "Coming!" Barbara says as she heads to the white unicorn.
"I think we're really going to strike gold this time. So to speak." Elusive says with a chuckle as Barbara digs up the gems. "Jackpot!" Barbara says as she carrys out a large pile of gems bigger than what they found before. "Oh, it's not the dragon we want. It's the pony!" Rover says as they see what Elusive is capable of doing. "The pony..." The diamond dogs say as they leave.
~ {?Back to Elusive's POV?} ~
"Well, Barbara, I think that's all we can do for today. And these will certainly get me well on my way with Sapphire's outfits. Why don't we start headi... oh! What's this? Another jewel." I say as my horn brings me to another gem. "Oh... oh, strange. It's in the trees." I say as look around for the gem and my horn bring me to it.
"Oooo— eww! Uh... uh... good day, gentle... uh, fellow. Uh, I am Elusive and this is my friend Barbara." I say nervously as start to back away from the stranger. "And you are..." I ask continually backing away. "A Diamond Dog." The Diamond Dog says to me.
"Oh really? Oh well, that explains your fine taste in jewelry. I mean I-I-I know that diamonds are a pony's best friend and now I know that they're a dog's best friend too, ha ha ha. So, um, [cough] you're out hunting for gems as well?" I ask him. "Yes. We hunt." He says. "Uh... we?" I ask. "We hunt for gems. But you are a better hunter. So now we hunt... for you!" He tells me.
~ {Third Pony Point of View} ~
Just as Rover had finished his sentence Fido and Spot dig up from the ground behind the dragon and the unicorn they pop up from behind one of them barely swipes Elusive's head making Elusive scream in fear. Barbara uses her tail as a jackhammer on the smaller diamond dog making it Yelp in pain and she pushes the blue diamond dog away from Elusive.
"Run, Elusive! Run! Aaaah! Uh!" Barbara says to Elusive and she gets pushed in the ground by the blue diamond dog. Elusive runs as Barbara is slightly disoriented from what happened she grabs the blue diamond dogs leg as it goes to chase him she causes him to trip and fall over onto the smaller ones tail causing it to fall over.
"Barbara! Come on! Hurry!" Elusive tells the baby dragon not noticing that the tall diamond dog is right behind him. "Gotcha!" the diamond dog says as he captures Elusive. "Waah! Barbara!" elusive screams in fear as the diamond dog captures him.
"Got him, Rarity! I got him!" Barbara says as she continues to hold down the blue diamond dog but the diamond dog uses his front legs to push up his lower half of his body pulling the dragon out of the ground and sticking her onto the tree above by her spikes. "Haha! Nope!" the blue diamond dog says. "Sorry, scaly one." The smaller one says as they run from the dragon.
"Wait! Elusive?" Barbara says as she's stuck in the tree watching helplessly as diamond dogs pony nap Elusive. "Unhand me this instant, you ruffians. Stop! Put me down, you thugs! You brutes!" elusive screams at the diamond dogs and they go down the hole.
"[gasp] Elusive!" Barbara manages to free her spikes from the tree to save the Unicorn she is crushing on. "Barbara! Ah, dirt! Aaaaah, Barbara!" elusive screams out for the baby dragon to save him. "Which, what, where?" Barbara says as she tries to find him. "Save me...!" Elusive says as his voice slowly disappears into the hole. "Nooooooooooo!" Barbara screams in absolute despair unable to save Elusive.
~ Later ~
Barbara manages to find the five stallions and one mare and they all racing to the scene of Elusive's pony napping. "Barb, can you breathe now?" Dusk asks the dragon as she was breathing in a paper bag given to her by Cupid while on Dusk's back. "Yes... [pant] I think so." Barbara says Ashley finishes using the bag.
"Good. Now tell us what you know." Cupid asks the dragon. "Yeah. 'Cause all you said earlier was..."
"[pant] Aaaah! Elusive... woods... jewels... dogs... hole... taken... Save him!" Barbara says in a panic when she finds her friends.
"Not a whole lot to go on there, sport." AppleJack says as they run. "Sorry. Elusive and I were in the woods looking for jewels when these creepy guys showed up." Barbara explains to them. "Creepy guys?" Cupid asks confused.
"They called themselves the Diamond Dogs. They grabbed Elusive and disappeared down a hole in the ground." Barbara explains to them. " Well, this sounds mighty easy. Just take us to that there hole and we'll save Elusive." AppleJack says as the group reaches the scene of the pony napping they all gasp at the amount of holes that was in front of them.
"Holy moly, that's a lotta holeys." bubble Berry says as he sees the amount of holes that the diamond dogs created. "Come on, guys! Let's get started. Hello?" Dusk said as he looked down one of the holes only for a growl to come out and dirt to be shot up from the hole.
The dirt shot up like a geyser and hit everypony in the face. "Yuck I got dirt in my mouth. [spit] [spit]" Cupid said as she tried to get the dirt out of her mouth.
"Quick! We gotta get down one before they're all filled up." Dusk said and every pony tried to get down one of the holes. "Oh! Oh my. Oh, oh!" butterscotch said as all the holes filled up around him.
Bubble Berry was bouncing around and was going to go into a hole but it filled up before he could go into it. AppleJack ran towards one of the holes and try to brute force his way into it but he was unable to do so due to the fact that the diamond dogs filled it up faster than he could get into it.
"We can't muscle through it!" AppleJack said as his entire body was covered in dirt. "We'll see about that." Rainbow Blitz said as he flies quickly into one of the holes but stops before he crashes into the mountain of dirt that appears suddenly.
"Whew. Heavens to Betsy. Now I'm used to pickin' myself up and dustin' myself off, but Elusive won't even touch mud 'less it's imported." AppleJack said. "Oh, Elusive..." Dusk says and they all imagine what Elusive is going through right now.
Elusive is seen in a cage under the ground. "Oh, woe is me! Whatever shall I do? Ah! Dirt, dirt! Get away, dirt! Oh! Make it stop, make it stop! Ah! Filthy, disgusting dirt. It stings, it burns. Help! Oh, somepony save me, save me!" Elusive says as he is trapped.
"We gotta save him." AppleJack says in determination to save his friend. "But they blocked up all the holes." Butterscotch says as he looks around. "Don't mean we can't dig 'em out. Come on!" AppleJack says as he and the others start working on digging the holes back out.
One of the diamond dogs pops up from behind with a mischievous grin on his face. "OW!" Bubble exclaims in pain as the diamond dog pulls on his tail and lets him go causing him to fall down. another diamond dog comes up from behind Butterscotch and picks him up from his hindquarters drops him on the ground making him let out a grunt of pain. as Barbara comes running one of the diamond dogs sticks out their legs causing the dragon to trip.
Dusk Shine and Rainbow Blitz were both digging on two hills parallel from one another then two of the diamond dogs pops up from the one in between them. "Get 'em!" Blitz shouts as he and dusk go to attack the diamond dogs they both charge at the diamond dogs but the dogs duck down inside their dirt mountain causing the two stallions to crash into each other.
AppleJack was digging down one of the dirt mountains and M one of the diamond dogs pops up and the orange earth pony stallion looks at him. AppleJack try using his front hooves to hit the diamond dog however the diamond dog ducks underneath before the stallion can hit him and pops up from another mountain behind him this continues for a couple of times.
The diamond dogs continue to stop and distract the ponies from reaching down into their lair ranging from tripping them over pulling their tails and popping up from random dirt mountains this continues until all of the ponies laying down on the ground panting.
"All those scary monsters popping up everywhere. Oh, poor Elusive must be terrified." Butterscotch says and Cupid lets out a sound of worry for her unicorn friend as they all imagine what Elusive is going through at the moment.
"Give me the baubles!" The small diamond dog demands. "Ah!" Elusive screams terrified. "Give me the beads!" The large blue diamond dog demands. "Aah!" Elusive screams terrified. "Where are the trinkets?!" The tall skinny diamond dog asks. "Aaaah!" Elusive screams in terror once more. "Where is the treasure?!" All three of the diamond dogs demands causing Elusive to faint.
"Poor Elusive. What are we gonna do?" Dusk asks worried for his unicorn friend. "I got it! I'll save you, my sweet." Barbara says as she holds out the blue gem that Elusive had given her earlier. while the others look at the dragon in confusion Cupid understands what Barbara is going to do and lets out a "Aww."
Barbara tied the gem that Elusive had given to her on a fishing pole and lowered it into one of the open holes. "Barbara, it is very noble of you..." Dusk starts saying rather loudly causing Barbara to shush him. "...to sacrifice the gem Elusive gave you." Dusk says to her in a whispered tone. "Oh, Lord Elusive. My bachelor in distress." Barbara says as she starts to daydream herself as a strong knight ready to save her beloved unicorn.
"I shall save you. Show yourselves, you dogs! You curs! Ah. There you are, you mangy mutts." The tall and strong looking Barbara says as the diamond dogs show themselves. "Who are you calling mutts? Unleash the hounds!" The tall skinny diamond dog says as he blows a dog whistle calling other diamond hounds to charge at the dragon however this is fruitless as Barbara defeats all of the diamond hounds. Barbara's firebreath scares all of the diamond hounds away and she boxes the diamond dogs into a wall.
"Now, where is Lord Elusive?" She asks as she points her lance at them making them point to where the unicorn they've held captive is. Barbara rushes to where the unicorn is held captive and charges through the iron gate door to find her Lord Elusive. "[gasp] Barbara! I knew you would save me!" Elusive says completely awed by her. "Nothing could stop me, milord." Barbara says as Elusive looks love struck by the dragons heroism. "Ohohohoh, Barbara. You are my... hero." Elusive tells her as he leans in for a kiss causing Barbara to lean in as well.
Outside of Barbara's daydream her lips are puckered next to AppleJack. "Hoho there, lover girl." AppleJack says to her as she snaps out of her daydream. The fishing pole gets a bite causing the dragon to get pulled into the hole. "Whoa! Whoa whoa whoawhoawhoa... I got a bite! I got a bite!" Barbara says as she gets dropped into the hole. "Hold on there, little fella." AppleJack says as he grabs on it too the dragon's tail passing the orange stallion to get pulled into the hole with her "AppleJack!" Dusk yells as he goes to help his friend by biting onto his tail.
"Dusk!" Cupid shouts out an alarm as she goes to bite onto dusks tail trying to pull him up. "Cupid!" Rainbow Blitz shouts out as he flies to help the pink unicorn. "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness..." Butterscotch says as he grabs onto Rainbow Blitz's tail. "Wait for me!" Bubble Berry says as he grabs Butterscotch's tail and they are all dragged into the diamond dogs lair.
After being dragged through a long tunnel the ponies and dragon find themselves in a long corridor deep underground. "Ha ha, it worked! We're in! Now we can finally save Elusive!" Barbara says as she stands up in victory. "Um... which way do we go?" Dusk asks as everyone looks around to see many tunnels and many corridors. "Nooooooooooo!" Barbara yells out in dismay.
"All these tunnels... how are we ever gonna find Elusive?" Dusk says as they all look around. "Guess we're just gonna have to start going down them one by one." AppleJack says as they walk down through the underground tunnel. " That could take forever! There's gotta be way to narrow it down." Rainbow Blitz says frustrated.
"I know! I bet they've taken Elusive down the tunnel with the most gems." Barbara says. "But Barbara, Elusive is the only one who knows how to find gems." Dusk tells her. "No, Dusk. You can! You can copy Elusive's gem-finding spell." Barbara tells the purple unicorn. "Oh my gosh! You're right! Elusive showed me how he did it a while back. If I can just remember..." Dusk says as he tries to remember the spell that his friend taught him. "That's it. You did it, Dusk! Come on! We're coming, Elusive. We'll save you. Just hold on." Barbara says as he jumps onto Dusk's back and the ponies run to save their friend.
~ {?Elusive's POV?} ~
"Oh please, Diamond Dogs. Please let me go." Elusive begs to released from his captors. "No!" The small diamond dog says. "You're our precious little pony." The big blue diamond dog says. "Forever! Muhahahaha!" The tall skinny diamond dog says. "But whatever do you want from me?" Elusive asks them. "Gemsss!" The tall skinny diamond dog tells him. "Yes! The gems. The jewels." The small diamond dog says. "Find them! Find them all!" The big blue diamond dog demands.
"Oh! Is that all? There. A lovely pocket of jewels are right there. Now, if you'd be so kind as to show me the exit?" Elusive says to the diamond dogs as he finds them a little pocket of jewels with his magic. "Good! [laugh] Now, dig them up, pony." The tall skinny diamond dog tells the unicorn. "What? But you said you wanted me to find the gems." Elusive says slightly annoyed. "Yes! Find and then dig." The small diamond dog says. "Dig?" Elusive says not amused. "Yes. Dig." The big blue diamond dog tells him.
Elusive was guided back to the X he had left on the ground by a diamond hound pointing a spear at his back while the three diamond dogs point at where he has to dig. "Ohh..." Elusive groans as he very pathetically tries to dig the X on the ground. "What are you doing? We said dig!" The big blue diamond dog says to him not happy. " Forgive me, but prior to you so rudely dragging me into your dirt pit, I had a pony-pedi and I am not about to chip a hoof because you dislike my style of digging." Elusive tells the diamond dogs as he continues to dig.
"Oh, for goodness— Fine! Just stop. Stop! Dig, dogs! Dig! And fast." The tall skinny diamond dog says very annoyed with the situation he orders the hounds to dig as Elusive looks happy about not having to dig anymore. "He won't dig, he pulls." The big blue diamond dog says as he and the small diamond dog bring out a rusted harness and cart.
"I beg your pardon, but what, pray tell, are you doing?" Elusive says as he backs away from the two diamond dogs. "Others will dig. You will haul the wagon." The big blue diamond dog says as he carries the cart. "Prrrecious pony-pedi will be preserved." The small diamond dog says as he holds out the rusted harness as they both put the harness onto Elusive.
"Well, somebody certainly needs proper nail care. When was the last time you two had a manicure? You're scratching up my coat with those jagged things!" Elusive complaints as they put their rusted harness on him. "Please be quiet!" The tall skinny diamond dog says slightly annoyed with Elusive. "Good heavens, what is that smell?" Elusive complaints as he smells something foul. "Smeeeeeell?" The tall skinny diamond dog asks. "Ah, mystery solved. It's your breath." Elusive says as he figures out where the bad smell is coming from causing the tall skinny diamond dog to smell his breath making him realize that the unicorn was right. "Enough! Search, pony!" The tall skinny diamond dog demands.
"Well, since you insist... but I must say the working conditions in here are simply dreadful. Musty and damp, it's going to wreak havoc on my mane. And this air is stifling, suffocating. And when I try to take a deep breath, the stench of all you dogs makes me nauseated." Elusive complaints as he marks areas where pockets of gems were and he accidentally crushed two of the diamond hounds by marking a pocket that was underneath a stalactite.
"You look and smell like you haven't bathed in weeks. Have you never heard of soap? You could all do with a good round of soap and water. Oh water, oh water, I'm terribly thirsty. Could I please have some water?" Elusive continues to complain and then asks for something to drink. "Good gracious, I can't take this anymore. Be quiet, pony!" The small diamond dog says to the unicorn as he gets upset with his complaining.
"And that's another thing. I would appreciate if you stopped calling me "pony". I am a gentleman and I wish to be addressed as such. So you may call me "Mister" or "Elusive" or "Mister Elusive"." Elusive continues to say. "Enough! Your whining! It-it-it hurts!" The tall skinny diamond dog says as he pulls on his ears to show that his whining is annoying.
"Whining? I am not whining. I am complaining. Do you want to hear whining? Thiiis iiis whiiining! Oooh, this harness is too tiiight! It's going to chafe. Can't you loosen it? Oooh, it hurts and it's sooo ruuusty! Why didn't you clean it first? It's gonna leave a staaain! And the wagon's getting heeeavy, why do I have to pull it?!" Elusive whines all of his complaints towards the diamond dogs.
"Aaah! Make it stop!" The small diamond dog says covering his ears. "Stop whining!" The tall skinny diamond dog demands to the unicorn covering his ears. "But I thought you wanted whiiining!" Elusive says continuing to whine. "Geh! We'll do anything, pony! Oh, uh, uh, we'll do anything, "Mister Elusive"." The tall skinny diamond dog says cowering after he sees the unicorns glare. "Anything?" Elusive says in a dreamily tone.
The diamond hounds decorated their underground cave area wow the diamond dogs are carrying carts full of jewels. "[sigh] This water is hardly sparkling. But I suppose it will have to do." Elusive says as he drinks the water that was given to him as two diamond hounds fan him.
"[panting] Wait! Why are we doing this?" The tall skinny diamond dog says confused on why they are doing this. "To stop the awful noises from the pony's mouth, remember?" The small diamond dog says to him mimicking the whining noises from Elusive. "Yes, yes, I know. This is ridiculous! Letting a pony order us around. What are we? Mice or dogs?" The tall skinny diamond dog asks the other two diamond dogs. "Mi... dogs?" The two diamond dog say. "Dogs do not pull. Ponies pull. Let him make the awful noises." The tall skinny diamond dog says to the others.
"What are you doing? Hey, you spilled my drink. Oh! [whining] Not sooo tiiight!" Elusive whines as the tall skinny diamond dog puts the rusted harness back onto him. "Ha! Make the noises all you want. But move while you make them. Hyah, mule!" The tall skinny diamond dog says to him as he smacks the unicorns hindquarters.
"Did you just call me a... mule?" Elusive says tearing up making the diamond dog feel awkward. "Ehh..." The tall skinny diamond dog says not knowing what to do. "Mules are ugly. Are you saying that I too am ugly?" Elusive says to the diamond dog tearing up and then he starts sobbing. "What are these noises?" The small diamond dog asks. "He called me ugly!" Elusive says crying.
"No! Mule! I said mule!" The tall skinny diamond dog says trying to defend himself. "An old ugly mule! And it's true! Just look at me. I used to be handsome, but, but nooow..." Elusive says continuing to cry. "No, no! You're still beautiful, po... uh, Mister Elusive." The big blue diamond dog says to the unicorn trying to make him feel better.
"You're just saying that!" Elusive says still continuing to cry. "No, you're still pretty and... and..." The small diamond dog says trying to make him feel better. "Oh, uh, uh, nice. Yeah." The tall skinny diamond dog says to the unicorn trying to get him to stop crying. "I don't believe you! You never liked me!" Elusive says still continuing to wail. "Oh, I've had just about enough of this!" The tall skinny diamond dog says as he and the others cover their ears too not hear Elusive's crying.
~ {Third Pony Point of View} ~
"We're getting close. I can feel it." Dusk says as he and the others continue going down a tunnel to find their friend on the way there they hear Elusive's crying in the distance. "It's coming from down here. Come on!" Barbara says as they head to save their friend.
"He must be in there. Let's go!" rainbow blitz says then suddenly 6 hound dogs jump on to each of the ponies backs. "More workhorses." one of the hound dogs say as they all tie ropes around their muzzles. "Hoh, doggies. If you can take this bull by the horns, you better be ready for a ride. Come on, ponies! Kick 'em up, kick 'em out. Buck 'em up, buck 'em down." AppleJack says as he instructs his friends on what to do to get the hound dogs off their backs.
they all managed to get the hound dogs off their backs and getting them to run away. "Yeehaw! Get along, little doggies!" AppleJack taunts the hound dogs as they run away they all hear a clanging and crashing noise from behind one of the iron barred doors. Barbara pulls a stalactite from the roof of the cave. "I'm coming for you, milord. Hi-ho, Dusk! Away!" Barbara says as she tries to signal Dusk to run. "And just what do you think you're doing?" Dusk asks the baby dragon on his back. "Please, Dusk. Just give me this." Barbara pleads with him. "Eh... fine." Dusk gives in despite how silly he'll look in front of his crush he lets out a neigh and charges the rusted iron door.
The rusted door breaks down easily the dragon and the unicorn rush into the room. "Lord Elusive, I'm here to save you!" Barbara announces as they come in. "[Save us! Please, save us! Make it stop! Please!]" The diamond dogs all say as they rush towards the ponies. "Excuse me?" dusk asked confused.
"So picky." The small diamond dog says. "And critical." The big blue diamond dog says. "He won't stop talking." The small diamond dog says. "And crying." The big blue diamond dog says. "We, uh, give him back. Yes." The tall skinny diamond dog says as elusive comes up from behind them carrying a wagon full of jewels.
"Elusive! You're safe!" Barbara says relieved that her crush is okay and she gives him a hug. "Why, yes. Hello, everypony. You arrived just in time to assist me." Elusive says happily. "Assist you with what?" AppleJack says confused at what his friend said. "With those." Elusive says as he points at 6 more carts of jewels.
"You're letting him leave with all these... jewels?" Barbara says looking at all the jewels trying not to salivate. "Yes. Take them. And him with them." The tall skinny diamond dog practically begs. "Please!" The small diamond dog pleads. The group of friends smile at each other as they prepare to haul out all of the gems. The diamond dogs wine as they all leave with 7 carts full of gems.
"I can't believe you found all these gems!" Bubble Berry says to his unicorn friend. "Heh. I can't believe you tricked all those dogs." Rainbow Blitz says proud of him. "Just because I'm a gentleman doesn't mean I cannot handle myself in a sticky situation. I had them wrapped around my hoof the entire time." Elusive says to his friends.
"I can't wait to write to Prince Solaris to tell him what you taught me today." Dusk said to his unicorn friend. "Me? What did I teach you?" Elusive asks the purple unicorn confused. "Just because somepony is a gentleman doesn't make him weak. In fact, by using him wits, a seemingly defenseless pony can be the one who outsmarts and outshines them all." Dusk summarizes his report to the prince. "Hm... "outshines" is right. Now you have enough gems to cover Sapphire Shores' costumes." Barbara says as she eats a ruby. "Not if you eat them all, Barbara." Elusive says as he takes the ruby out of the dragon's claws before she can finish eating it making all the ponies laugh.
