Life wasn't fair and it never had been, especially for Michael. Nothing seemed to ever go right and that lesson was still being hammered down fifty years later. Even so, he'd make life fair for the little baby he had in his arms, even if it killed him.

16. An Important Note

So no upload this week and probably the next, as I'm in the process of re-writing the beginning chapters because they weren't up to my standards. Some people were confused with current events in the story, and I hadn't clarified certain facts beforehand, which would lead to annoying exposition in the long run. (Which I hate.)

It will take some time, but it will be well worth it in the end, so please be patient. You will know when a chapter has been changed if it has: Re-written on the: -insert date here- in the INFO section at the beginning of every chapter.
