So here we tune in to what the other three Turtles and Splinter are doing, I thought I would have slightly more moments showing the rest of the family's side of the story but this story also works better if it's kept more in the dark.

Earlier that day, the other three brothers and Splinter had secretly traveled the very edge of Feral's estate, of curse Raph and Mikey would have wanted to charge right in, but Splinter and Leo insisted they needed to be especially careful because they didn't have the brains of the team with them and Feral seemed to be the kind of human they had been warned about they're whole lives the human who was all to eager to dissect them to find out what made them tick...Since they saw on the news Feral's return to America would be delayed until late into the night, they realized they had to scout out the terrian during the day.

The four of them hung out in the branches of the groves of trees just outside the wall that surrounded the estate, the only people in the Mansion at the time would be Feral's loyal servants he had no knowladge of Feral's secret underground laboratory or his tendancy to vivisect mutants, and the Mutants of the secret lab, and at the moment Karl and Igor were too busy erasing all footage of Don and Arctica's escape to cover their tracks when Feral did arrive home.

Scouting along the wall, the brothers finally did find something that made their hearts jump!

The telltale, two toed tracks of a Mutant Turtle! So fast and furious was Don's dash to escape that his feet practically tore up the perfectly manicure lawn, and none of the servants were any the wiser, never noticing the strange footprints leading up to the back wall.

"So Donny did break out..." Raph said "...So why didn't he come home?" Thinking about the time he himself had been captured by the FootTech Ninja and was grilled by Hun.

Splinter and Leo didn't want to voice their growing suspition that Don had a tracking device planted on or in him, and didn't come home knowing he would lead Feral right to where theiy lived if he did so...

But then Feral noticed something on a nearby branch, it was low and in the postion that looking at the footprints, Don definitely would have brushed against while going over this part of the wall, on that branch was something that defin didn't belong to Don...A clump of white fur.

"My Sons..." Splinter said "I have found something on this branch that must have touched Donatello on his way out..." He plucked the fur from the branch and showed them,

Splinter took a wiff of the fur "This fur belongs to a wolf."

That cause all three brothers to freeze, they remembered from the footage that Don had been captured by two ugly Mutants that seemed by how...Ugly and misformed they were compared to themselves they had to be creations of Feral as, having learned about their origins with the Ooze being made by the peaceful Utroms it seemed only natural to them that they would be superior Mutants as their Mutation came from a much more advanced race compared to what a human could do with Earth's crude technology.

"So what are you saying?" Raph asked "That Donny was chased by a Wolf who was one of Feral's Goons?"

"Raphael," Splinter said "Look at the tracks, do you see anything that look like wolf tracks or any other tracks besides Donatello's?" Splinter sniffed again, it was times like this he wished his Sons had his sense of smell, he understood from Donatello's reserch that Turtles like most reptiles normally have a good sense of smell, but when they Mutated it became more like a Human's Donatello suspected it might have had something to do with them mutating teeth that it caused their Jacobson's Organ in their mouth to be suppressed and also their snouts becoming a lot shorter but that was all speculation one he was never particually interested in pursuing, But Splinter knew that his Sons were missing out on a world of experience that he rarely spoke of because it's not easy to explain to one who can't percieve it.

But this time he knew he had go into detail of how he could smell a body's health and other states...He took another wiff of the fur, "I can tell that this Wolf, was not in the greatest health...Weakened...It seems this Wolf was a fellow Prisoner, and Don was carrying this Wolf out."

The three brothers were at first surprised and them smiled, remembering their Brainy Brother's compassionate nature...

"So..." Mikey said "...Don found a jailbreak buddy with like in Shawshank Redemption!"

How many other Mutants were prisonors in there? Knowing Don they knew Don would have wanted to free all of them, so either his escape was so strapped for time that he could only choose one friend to bust out or maybe the other Mutants were too scared, their spirits too broken from being in there too long to take the oppritunity to escape.

The important things was they knew for sure their brother had escaped, and what's more he seemed to have a friend, that gave them a little comfort thinking that at least he wasn't lonely.

There seemed to be footprints on the other side of the wall leading into the woods, a trail they could follow.

"It's kind of wild huh?" Mikey said "The idea there are actually more mutants, first Leatherhead...Now this wolf guy and...Who knows how many might be...In there..."

Splinter winced hearing Mikey say 'Wolf Guy' Splinter had refrained from telling something else he could detect from the Fur's scent that this wolf...Was a Female...The knowladge of female mutant animal and the inherent implications that more could exist, he didn't mention it because he didn't want to cause any complications right now...He trusted Don would be honorable with his female companion but he didn't want his Son's to be speculating about...Possibilities...

In the the show Splinter's sense of smell is mostly just for detecing enemies particually handy with Foot Tech Ninja but I know what animals are able to tell about you from smelling you so just wanted to touch on that
