"Author's note: I apologize for taking a break without notifying you in advance for the publication of the chapters. I know that some enjoy the chapters and may have worried about my absence. I'm fine now and I think I have more time to post each month. I thank you for your patience. "
FUBUKI'S POV
After our little escapade two days ago, we had entered our temple without anyone noticing our absence.
However, I did not forget our agreement that we had made. Although Kawaita and Jakuten were slightly injured, I forced them to train with me for three nights, as promised.
They were exhausted. However, they were still on their feet trying to attack me from all angles.
During the day, we trained and learned with our respective masters. In the evening, we practiced hand-to-hand combat so that I am fully prepared for my duel against Hisan.
We don't really have time to rest. Besides, Jakuten was sleeping more and more during classes. His sensei doesn't hesitate to punish him physically for that.
Nevertheless, they will be able to fully rest after tomorrow since we are at the second night. For my part, I will continue my training alone. I can endure my tiredness from my lost nights.
I can even say that I am used to it, unlike Kawaita and Jakuten, who didn't really give their all in their attacks.
I tolerate their ineptitude, but I admit that it bothers me that I can't fight to my full potential, if these two aren't.
Maybe I'm asking a little too much of them?
This agreement to train, under the pretext of recovering the time I lost by going out with them, was only meant to hide my strange impulses, that I will not reveal to anyone... Indeed, it's because of these impulses and my fear that they might see them, that I accepted this unfortunate request, shame on me.
No matter what, I really want to push my limits with each exercise. I want to expend my energy and work my body every second. I want to be ready when I fight Hisan, my half-sister.
After seeing all her fights in the tournament, I know what she's capable of. She has no mercy for her enemies. Her emphatic side is non-existent and it's not because we are sisters, that I will have nice treatment, quite the opposite.
She is a very serious person, and she's not the type to drag out her fights, by morally or physically torturing her enemies for fun. She gets straight to the point by killing them as quickly as possible.
I'm a little stressed and at the same time, I'm slightly excited for this good duel that awaits me.
Although, I don't think she feels the same joy as I do...
Although she was often inexpressive, I could feel her hatred towards me. Kawaita was right. She resents me on some level.
I don't mind. If her anger would allow me to have a good fight as I like, she can hate me all she wants. I just want to get stronger to endure her blows, which are far from gentle.
But to be honest, it's not because of my fight against my half-sister that I'm trying so hard...
"Do you really think I want to arrest you Fubuki?"
HE ANNOYS ME! HE ANNOYS ME! HE ANNOYS ME!
This bastard irritates me so much that the only thing I can do, to stop rehashing everything that has happened in a loop, is to lash out physically.
But despite that, I can't get over the frustration I felt. I felt inferior to this worthless bum. Worse still, something inside me tells me that he didn't use all his strength to try to catch me.
He could have stopped me without a care in the world and that's why it offends me. I hate this feeling. I HATE it!
And now I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! I can't control my emotions, they're overwhelming me!
As a romantic companion, my sister chose well! A human being can't be that strong, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE !
"But I know you, even if you seem to have forgotten me."
Who is he?! How does he know me?! I don't know him! Did my sister tell him about me?! No, he seemed to really know who I was.
Tch, have I really forgotten someone with such superhuman strength, or someone who is potentially dangerous to me, or even to the clan if he decides to attack them with my sister by his side?! IT WOULD BE A DISASTER!
I only remember the essentials! But if I had known him, knowing where his powers come from would be essential for me! SO WHY DID I FORGET IT?! Impossible, just impossible but why?! What for?!
Besides, if I remember, he said I was one of his acquaintances? But... what did he mean by acquaintance?! I don't like it, I really don't. To think that my enemy has information about me when I don't! UNTHINKABLE!
I must know everything to better lead my kingdom and develop infallible strategies, on these wretches!
I need to learn more about him. He is potentially harmful to my future plans to govern. I have to stop him, kill him, stuff him, burn him!
No, I need to do more, much more. There must be no trace of his existence, lest it be said that an enemy has stood up to the Dictator Blizzard of Hell!
To think that my sister had the unfortunate idea to involve him in our history puts us at a disadvantage, ME AT A DISADVANTAGE!
Is that why she's with him?! Does she know something about this man? Something far more complex than my own analyses and theories?
What does she see in him?!
Why humor him by laughing with him, casually talking to him and fighting alongside him?! She allowed this man to chase me and not her, MY OWN SISTER!
Have they gone further?!
Does she have a real carnal relationship with this bald guy? Have they ever had sex?
Is that how she managed to keep him with her? Does my sister really think that this man is worthy to mate with her, so that her offspring will inherit their power?!
No, no, no! This is not the image I have of my sister! I know her! I think I know her! So why do I feel like I don't know her?!
Is it because I forgot some important things about her?! Things I should know?! Things that I should take into consideration?! Very important things, essential things. I need to know, I need to know, I NEED TO KNOW DAMMIT!
I NEED-

Jakuten took advantage of my absence due to my thoughts, to hit me by giving me a nasty punch to the face.
This blow has the gift of bringing me back to reality. I hold my cheek with my head down. I feel a sharp burn, but it was largely bearable.
Jakuten: Eh, Fubuki? I know we're not in great shape, but you can at least have a little respect for us by concentrating a little~
Fubuki: ...
Jakuten: What? Don't tell me I broke her...
Kawaita: You didn't go too far...? She said worried by my silence and attitude.
Jakuten: Of course, not! If she can't resist this blow, how will she do against Hisan? Come on Fubuki, tell us everything is fine, huh!
Fubuki: I'm perfectly fine. I had lost my way but thanks to Jakuten, I regained full control. I say in a jovial and reassuring tone.
Jakuten: You see! Nothing broken.
Kawaita: Uh... okay.
I look above me. The sun begins to take its place again, seeing the orange sky and the moon that would soon lose its luster.
Looks like a bad day is starting...
?: Hello, Miss Blizzard.
I turn around and observe one of the messengers of the council, who had come to meet us. What information will he give to me? Especially at this hour...
Normally, he works a little later in the morning. It must be important...
Fubuki: Hello, what do you have to say to me at this hour?
Messenger: The council and the King wish to see you immediately in the throne room. No delay will be tolerated, despite your respectable rank.
Fubuki: ...
Kawaita: Well, I'll let Master Hakai know of your absence.
Messenger: You too, Miss Kawaita. You are summoned with Miss Blizzard at 8:15 am in the throne room.
Kawaita: What?! Jeez, I hope is not for our es-
Jakuten abruptly kicked Kawaita's foot to stop her talking.
Kawaita squeals in pain and vigorously rubs her injured foot sharply. She cursed Jakuten while looking at him with a contemptuous and hateful look. Jakuten smiled wider as he looked at her from the corner of his eye.
I strongly believe that it is for another reason that we are summoned, and not for our walk in very poor taste.
Messenger: Your what ?
Jakuten: For our SNAIL! We left our snail loose, so I hope it didn't cause any havoc on its way, haha ha! He's very mean you know! Right, Kawaita?!
On the other hand, he could have looked for a more convincing excuse... these two...
Kawaita: Yeah, this snail is a real bastard...
Jakuten: Oh my, watch your language in front of the messenger, huh. And they call me the rude one.
Kawaita: Grrrr...
Fubuki:...
Messenger:...
Jakuten: Am I also invited to this meeting?
Messenger: No, you are not. Take your classes as planned today.
Jakuten: Ah... But I can accompany them!
Messenger: No, only Miss Blizzard, Miss Kawaita and Miss Hisan, are requested from the council and the king.
Fubuki: Hisan ?
Hisan will be there too... This meeting intrigues me even more. Why do they want to bring the three of us together? With the tournament coming up in a few days, it wouldn't be wise to give us a mission...
Unless it's really important and we had to do it on short notice...
Or maybe they're summoning us for something else... and they know that putting Hisan with me is a risk to this mission, or whatever. Especially because she hates me and then I risk doing something stupid by responding to her provocations.
Thus, our finale will start early if we kill each other in the spot...
Jakuten: But if-
Kawaita: Jakuten, stop. You can't come and that's it.
Jakuten: No, you just don't know how to negotiate.
Messenger: Should I ask your mother, who is on the council, if you can be part of it?
Jakuten: Ah uh no, NO! DEFINITELY NOT! Thanks anyway... He said hastily and slightly terrified.
Kawaita: What a negotiation...
Jakuten: Pff, you don't know anything. Well I'm leaving, it's daylight, HUH! The sky isn't dark anymore so I can legally leave, right F-Fubuki? Thank you for this very rewarding training, CIAO!
Kawaita: What's wrong with him?!
Fubuki: It doesn't matter. Take advantage of this short break to get ready.
*A few minutes later. *
It is now 8 o' clock. Kawaita and I were walking through the corridors of the royal section, heading to this famous place. I could feel Kawaita's anguish next to me, which really annoyed me.
Fubuki: Kawaita, calm down! They're not going to kill us and if they try, I won't allow it to happen. Don't worry, it was not for our walk we took a few days ago.
Kawaita: I know but I can't help it! I think it's the fact that Hisan was also summoned too and that stresses me out. Why the three of us? The two of us are a great pair, right? I think so!
Fubuki: Yes, we are, but we'll know more when we get there.
Kawaita: *Sighs* Yes, you're right!
Kawaita is a real bundle of nerve sometimes. But even though she stresses easily about everything, and seems to be the most normal and kind of us, she has a dark side...
Her first name defines her perfectly, "thirsty". Like Zabro, she savors human flesh and of course their blood, as if it were a beautiful rare meat with its delicious sauce. She could become hysterical and always craved more.
Kawaita may not have psychic powers, but her swordsmanship is excellent. She is a fearsome soldier who shouldn't be taken lightly, otherwise she will devour you mercilessly.
Besides, I've never asked her how she feels when she is close to me. Does she see me as food forbidden to touch or really, as a partner?
However, I concentrate as I see in my field of vision, Hisan who was already there, waiting to enter the premises. It is customary to wait for the exact time to enter this sacred hall, the throne room. We stop behind her. It's rare that I see her so closely.
Her antlers were less impressive than my father's, but they were thicker than Kawaita's, and went slightly backwards.
Her hair was a dark amber hue and she had the same spots as my father, on some parts of her body. However, her hair was so curly, that she seemed to be the Akuma version of Goldilocks. Moreover, it reached her lower back.
When she turned her head over her shoulder to look at us, I saw her freckle-like spots under her green eyes. Apparently, she was already in combat gear.
Hisan had a few golden outlines on her outfit and jewelry, such as bracelets and various earrings on her elf ears.
Hisan: You finally came? She said falsely surprised to see us.
Fubuki: Why wouldn't we come?
Hisan: Good question.
Fubuki: ...
Hisan: I hope you are in good shape because we won't be allowed to fail.
Fubuki: I'm guessing you already know why we were summoned.
Hisan: If you don't know yet, I'm one of the soldiers specializing in espionage. I briefly know what they're going to say, but I'll leave you to find out for yourself.
Fubuki: I see...
Kawaita: ...
At 8:15 am, the three of us enter the room, when Hisan opened this gigantic wooden door. We were in a large room that was lit by daylight, which was beginning to creep in.
The vertical walls that were on the side, were formed with several openings that gave the impression of uniting the exterior and interior.
These openings, which let daylight in, were of oriental styles. Cathedral pillars accompanied these walls to enhance the authentic effect. These carried another set of pillars up to the ceiling, which was impressive.
Moreover, by looking to the ceiling, I could see that the roof was circular. The room was so big that we walked for a little while, on a long red carpet to reach the end. Thus, I begin to see clearly the throne, which is on a wide golden platform in front of me.
This throne was so majestic and at the same time intimidating, for people of low rank. Whether it was the backrest, the armrests or its arched base, this throne was just pleasant to behold. Its seat must be comfortable...
I must say that I have fantasized a little about this throne, because every time I imagined myself to be the ultimate ruler, I would sit on it looking at my future soldiers below me.
But for now, King Ikari owns it. Well, I know where Zabro's dark fur and ebony hair comes from... The king looked just like him.
The only differences are that the king is a little more robust than his son and he had shoulder-length hair. Part of it was tied up high and the other loose part reached his shoulders.
The jewels attached to his ears, were none other than the sacred earrings, which had been cursed by my father. His facial features had a square shape, which gave him a hardened look.
His eyes were pale red in color. His royal brooch that tied a part of his hair, was made of diamonds. These diamonds had a yellowish color that approached a golden shade.
This royal emblem was a beauty... whether by its color or by its fanciful shape. My father and the other kings before him wore this famous brooch which apparently served as their crown.
As for his clothes, he wore a Mianfu, a category of Hanfu, which was a wide cross-necked ancestral dress with wide sleeves around the arm.
The main colors of his attire were a very dark red and black. There were of course some oriental patterns on these fabrics.
King Ikari was staring during our arrival. However, I must say that he paid special attention to Hisan. I had the feeling that he was staring at her with envy... Kawaita doesn't suspect anything because she was tense with stress. As for Hisan, she just stared blankly.
At least, that's what she is trying to make it appear.
I have the gift of sensing the strong emotions of a person who is close to me. This is how I can see, or rather feel, if someone is lying to me or hiding something from me.
It's a strange feeling because I do feel strong vibrations in the air, which is a sign of deep anger. What is it between the king and Hisan? Family problems?
As for the councillors, they sat on large pillows, which were placed on small semicircular stands, on either side of the platform that framed the throne. The 6 councillors were all there.
The blue-eyed advisor specializes in the physical manipulation of living beings and the control of things from a distance. If he is gifted enough, he could control solid elements, whether of natural or modified origins, to form vessels from them, such as golems which are one of the popular techniques of this clan.
The advisor with orange eyes specializes only in hacking, to using her waves to control those of her opponent. She has an advantage of being able to use her hacked waves as she pleases for a limited time, unlike her partners who were stuck in their own fighting styles, but at least they were in it for the long haul.
The purple-eyed advisor is specialized in creating indestructible barriers and shields, which protect her from any attack. Additionally, her waves have the ability to stop the powers of an esper temporarily, and control things invisible to the naked eye, such as electromagnetic waves, computer networks and much more.
The red-eyed councillor is specialized in causing mental and psychic damage. Furthermore, his waves are honed to manipulate an individual's mind at will.
The silver-eyed advisor, specializes in controlling only the elements of nature regardless of its form. Beyond the elements, fire, air, earth and water, if he is experienced enough, his waves could fully act on any matter derived from these elements, such as metal, molten lava, ice, etc.
And finally, the pink-eyed advisor, who specializes in care and healing techniques. If she were in combat, she'll do the opposite, by damaging her opponent's health and drive them instantly to their death. She can also control life energy, commonly called chi or aura.
We knelt before the king as a sign of respect, between the podiums of the councillors and before the king who had his eyes lowered towards us, seeing as the platform raised his throne.
Hisan/Kawaita/Me: Good morning your majesty.
King Ikari: Fine, you can stand.
We obey his request. I started talking because I wanted to put an end to this mystery as soon as possible.
Fubuki: To what do I owe the honor of being summoned, Your Majesty?
My own words upset me. If it were not to make a good impression on these advisors, or even on my people, to better integrate myself into this dynasty, I would have already insulted my uncle for his contempt for me a long time ago.
I guess Hisan is of the same opinion due to her irritation which I sensed earlier...
King Ikari: Well, we had a special mission for you.
Advisor (purple): Special? Do you mean suicide? With all due respect my dear king, is it really wise to sacrifice our best assests, and especially the heiress of our beautiful dynasty? Leave at least one in the temple, if you really care about the sustainability of our nation.
So, it's really a mission? And it seems that this mission was much more dangerous than I had envisioned...
So, it's true, Hisan really is my rival for the title of queen. If I hope to govern, me and me alone, our duel at the tournament will not simply be a final as in previous years, but a real confrontation that will determine who will be the future queen...
Advisor (red): We are not going to reopen the debate that we staunchly closed a few days ago. What a pain...
Advisor (blue): SPEAK FOR YOURSELF! One of the great generals of my clan and especially my son, died in battle during our previous attack! Apparently, he died of a PUNCH! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! His death will not be in vain! We must do what we decided!
Advisor (orange): How interesting~ I am all for starting this mission. And then, we will see which heiress will be alive, if things go wrong.
Councillor (pink): *sighs* You don't miss any opportunity to let your cruelty speak, Atsuya.
Advisor (silver): What if we stopped letting our sadism speak, so that we can be perfectly lucid in this situation.
Advisor (orange): Huhu hu, my apologies. I didn't say anything nasty though.
Councillor (purple): We have strong warriors in our clan and especially in my family. They could accomplish this mission for them. Why risk our survival in this way? I would like to point out that the eye is not something to be taken lightly. It's the lifeblood of our clan. If Miss Blizzard dies, we will have no hope of returning to the surface. We will die in the dust and be forgotten by all.
Fubuki: ...
Advisor (blue): Stop your dismissive words! They will be perfectly capable of succeeding, and they are far more powerful than your entire family combined! And if soldiers must participate, it will be my family that we will choose!
Advisor (purple): Are you implying that your clan is more powerful than mine? How deplorable.
Advisor (blue): WHAT IS THIS-
King Ikari: SILENCE! Who allowed you to open your mouth! What a disgrace! Shall I burn you all as punishment?!
Councillors (blue, orange, red, silver, purple, pink): Forgive us for our disrespect my lord...
King Ikari: I prefer that. He said smiling mischievously and then added. -If we are sending our two heiresses in the field and one of our powerful soldiers with ancestral techniques, it is because this group is one of the most powerful elements we have. Do not doubt the strength of the woman who has the title of the greatest warrior, the power of the cursed eye possessed by one of the daughters of my dear brother Shizen, and the formidable Kawaita who is worthy of carrying this unique saber in her sheath. It was not by chance that we chose them.
Kawaita: ...
Kawaita seemed to be happy to hear these compliments. Nevertheless, she didn't know that they were distorted by the hypocrisy that only our king has the secret.
King Ikari: Besides, it's an excellent test for our Miss Infernal Blizzard. Will she be with us or against us? I have no doubt that she is on our side and that nostalgia for her world is history, is it not?
Fubuki:...
King Ikari: Envoy! Show your face and explain the mission to our soldiers.
The king's messenger came out from behind one of the pillars to walk towards us. He was to show his face only when his king permitted him.
I squeeze my wrists. What kind of mission he will give us? Is it really that dangerous? Kawaita tried to keep a cool head, and Hisan stared intently at the messenger without showing any expression.
Messenger: Yes my king. Miss Blizzard, Hisan and Kawaita, your mission is to discreetly infiltrate the enemy organization known as the Hero Association.
Kawaita: What...
Hisan: Hmm...
Hisan was unimpressed. On the contrary, she knew since the beginning. However, I am still surprised by this. Entering this association is like penetrating the President's White House.
We are in grave danger when infiltrating. And despite our discretion, it would be difficult to access it. Especially if there are heroes like my sister or... this man who may have the misfortune to be in the association during our "assault".
However, I consider this mission as a future chapter in my story. Yes, this experience of being in the enemy camp is therefore essential to me for my sovereign plans.
Messenger: The main purpose of this infiltration is to retrieve all the information about the heroes and weaknesses of this association. The warrior Hisan has already taken a first step by observing them from afar. From now on, great warrior Hisan, please share all this information with your team to complete this mission. You will be the leader.
Hisan: This is a great pleasure. I will complete this mission on behalf of the clan.
I watch Hisan make a simple gesture of respect. It doesn't matter to me who the leader is, even if she's my rival.
After all, I can give this privilege to her since I do not intend to lose in our deadly duel.
Messenger: Miss Blizzard, as you knew this association, you will surely know where to go to collect this information.
Fubuki: Well, I will do everything to not disappoint my people and use the information from my past life to complete this mission.
Obviously, I didn't tell them that I don't remember too much about my old life. Maybe the king knows if Zabro told him about it.
Messenger: Nodo Ga Kawaita, you will be on this mission to strengthen the team. Make sure this whole mission goes as planned.
Kawaita: Yes, sir.
Messenger: If you are spotted, it is not a problem, but you absolutely must return regardless of the method, to bring this essential information about our common enemy. A word my lord?
King Ikari: After you have what we need, our expert team at the Northern Temple will process all the data you have collected. Only they have the technology like our enemy to read this information. You can go ahead.
Me/Kawaita/Hisan: Yes my lord. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to honour you.
After our bow, we straighten up to leave the throne room. We were walking down those long corridors that we used half an hour ago.
Hisan: Meet me outside the temple in 2 hours.
Kawaita: Ok...
After leaving the kingdom, Kawaita and I went to our temple in the west, to prepare for this mission that awaits us. Kawaita changed in our room, and I showered to relax my limbs, in our beautiful natural hot springs.
Then I headed to the room and prepared my outfit. No way am I putting on armor. This mission doesn't require me to fight hand-to-hand anyway. I'm going to fight the old-fashioned way...
Kawaita was already gone. Maybe she went to see Jakuten. These two have a sibling like relationship, although they bicker all the time. Although, sisters and brothers often bicker, don't they?
So, in a way, I guess it's normal for them to argue, even it's childish... At least their sibling relationship is less toxic than mine...
I treated myself with a beautiful dress, dark and light green in color. I wore a leather choker necklace, which was lined with another chain necklace. This jewel ended with a symbol of an eye. I also had some jewelry on my arms and earrings.
I took advantage of this time to put on makeup and brush my green hair that was approaching the color cyan. I wore it down as usual.
Although I don't get enough rest, I will always take care of my appearance. Indeed, I want to have a good image no matter where I am. In this world, looks can wreck more havoc than mere words.
I get up and then walk to the exit of the temple.
When I think about it, it's been a while since I've seen Master Hakai... I hope all is well for him... I will have time to think about him after the mission.
I wasn't late but knowing Kawaita, she wanted to get ahead so as not to be late. Besides I saw her pacing at the exit of the temple. I sighed at this and moved closer to her.
Fubuki: Will you ever stop stressing? Hmmm, I feel like you're more cheerful than nervous... How is that possible? I said innocently.
Kawaita: You know Fubuki... Thinking about all those heroes I could eat makes me nervous and fills me with joy! She said with a perverse smile.
Fubuki: Why didn't I think of that sooner...
Kawaita: It's been so long since I've been out, way before our walk the other day. Also, I need to let off some steam after what your sister did to us. I understand why you don't like her. She seems so haughty.
Fubuki: I'm the one who put you in this situation. I really thought you'd be captured... Did you manage to fight her? I say unconvinced because only I can defeat her and no one else.
Kawaita: It's thanks to Jakuten. He doesn't look like it but he's really powerful. Not as powerful as your sister but he manages. You can tell he's playing dumb in class.
Fubuki: I didn't know that. I admit that it is very admirable on his part.
Kawaita: Oh? Do you think Jakuten is admirable? she said playfully.
Fubuki: I said that his duel against my sister must have been impressive, nothing more. Jakuten is a child who hides his true nature well.
Kawaita: He's 19...
Fubuki: I thought he was 15?
Hisan: When you're done with this discussion, we can get down to business.
I stare expressionlessly at my half-sister already knowing that she is approaching us, unlike Kawaita who is startled by her voice.
Kawaita: H-hisan-sama?! Uh, no, no... We can start the mission.
Hisan: Good. Come along.
*Thirty minutes later*
After running all the way, Hisan stops and kneels near a tall tree. Kawaita and I do the same and kneel beside her.
Hisan: As the king's messenger said, I did spy on the association a while ago. However, I have not managed to get the plans of this place, but I think we have everything to begin this infiltration. The Hero Association is a large organization financed by the people, to protect citizens from supernatural beings or dangerous criminals.
Kawaita: ...
Hisan: Although it has been weakened due to its bad reputation and seems to be slowly being replaced by another heroic organization, it nevertheless has a strong military army of its own and holds heavily armed robots. In addition, it seems that there are other heroes who live in its departments. According to my analysis, they would be class A, B and C heroes. On the other hand, I don't know if there are any S-class heroes. But I know that a few heroes of S-Class have started working for the other organization.
Fubuki: They said we have to be discreet and sneak in but it's technically impossible. This organization is fortress on its own. It must be heavily secured. Since the destruction of City A, it owns the whole territory, so even walking in this terrain destroyed by monsters from another world, we will be immediately spotted. Am I right?
Hisan: Exactly half-sister, we would be noticed only a few kilometers away. She said, smiling at me.
Fubuki: ...
Kawaita: So how are we going to do it?
Hisan: We are not going to infiltrate but we are going to go directly into the association without any worries.
Fubuki: I see...
Kawaita: What! But... I know we're strong and all that but isn't there any other way.
Hisan: If you have one, tell me because I don't see how we can get to the association without being spotted. When my half-sister and I are inside, it would be easy to burn all the safety devices and destroy all their robots. But there are still risks, such as heroes or staff who might wander the halls. To that end, do what you want but do not let them delay you. We only have 30 minutes before a military army, or some high-ranking heroes come to meet us.
Fubuki:...
Kawaita: ...
Hisan: If we knew at least all the strengths of the association... we could have stablished a foolproof plan, but it's not. Even if we destroyed all their communication devices, or set up a psychic barrier that would stop all communication to the outside, who knows what means they have to call for reinforcements? As soon as they see their devices are destroyed, they'll already be automatically alarmed so yes, stealth is impossible. Unless...
Fubuki: I can knock everyone out at the same time so that they won't cause any trouble.
Hisan: Can you do that?
Fubuki: Yes, with a bit of concentration, I can knock out everyone in the fortress. However, I can't guarantee 100% that everyone will be susceptible to my attack. Some rooms might not allow psychic waves to penetrate, or other strong people might manage to remain conscious, it depends on their will.
Hisan: That's not a problem. Actually, it is a big advantage for us. Finally, this stealth may perhaps not be impossible.
Kawaita: In reality, you could have done this mission without me. She said, perhaps feeling left out.
Hisan: No, you are useful to us. Nodo Ga Kawaita, you will make sure that everyone else doesn't cause any problems. As my half-sister said, a few people might not be affected by her waves, or others might come by feeling that their association is in danger. You will take care of them, so that they don't compromise our mission. So, after you have verified that there is no one in your vicinity, you can monitor the entrance so that no one enters it.
Kawaita: Ok, that's within my capabilities.
Hisan: As for me, I will also take care that no human can compromise us. However, my goal is to take the plans of the association and know where all the evacuation shelters of the country are located... If I can't find them, I will quickly draw all the rooms and departments of the Association. It may take a while but we have to succeed, whatever the cost. As for you Fubuki.
Fubuki: ...
Hisan: I would like, as you said, that you neutralize all the people who are in the association. So, you can take this famous national hero registry. It is a book where all the information about the heroes is written, but I heard that the Association was going to create a new one with some updates. Normally, it should be finished today, but it is in digital form. This is not a problem since the scientific team at the Northern Temple, has a digital computer to read this document. On the other hand, take advantage of this opportunity to remove all traces of information about the Akuma clan, which the Association owns.
Fubuki: What about that psychic barrier you talked about?
Hisan: To take some weight off your shoulders, I'll take care of that. This psychic barrier will prevent any communication from passing, whether it's telephone networks, internet, or electromagnetic waves. When you have the information you want half-sister, you will let us know telepathically. I will do the same. Kawaita, I know you don't have any psychic powers, so you'll have to be extra vigilant if you encounter any obstacles.
Kawaita: Okay. But how are we going to get into the Association if apparently it could see us a few kilometers away? We should have started with that!
Fubuki: She's not wrong. If the Association sees us, interrupting their communication will not have the desired effect, if they have already reported the danger outside before we infiltrate.
Hisan: That's why I planned everything. Look, right on time. She said, looking at the sky.
We observed the sky and saw a helicopter landing a few kilometers in front of us.
Hisan: We will use a helicopter from the Association to get in. We'll let a pilot drive us. Don't worry, to avoid any risk, I will control his mind so that he leads us there, of his own volition. However, all the people accompanying him should be put down. Well, do you have any more questions?
Fubuki: No.
Kawaita: I understand everything!
Hisan: Okay. We're going.
We rose and moved towards where the helicopter landed.
*Five minutes later*
Soldier: Another day of searching, huh!
Soldier (2): Be serious... You know very well that it's important that we find her.
Pilot: Was it really Blizzard of Hell that attacked M-City? I heard that the victims of the accident thought they saw her...
Soldier (3): I guess it's true if they asked us to search the surrounding area.
Soldier: Or maybe it's not true. Too bad, I would have married her.
Pilot: *sighs* You're such a pain.. I thought we were looking for the lair of those monsters, not for Miss Blizzard...
Soldier (2): SOLDIERS, BE SERIOUS! SHOULD I REPEAT WHY THIS MISSION-.. What the-?!
Kawaita ran with her trusty saber in hand, to slice her first victim, laughing like a small child proud of having won a game.
Some soldiers wanted to use their guns to attack her, but I dropped all their bullets to the ground. They were looking in my direction with Hisan beside me.
Soldier (7): WHAT?! Is that you Miss Blizz-
Kawaita: Sorry cutie but Miss Blizzard is on our team now!
Kawaita beheaded him with such force that I could feel the draft from where I was. I can also observe her malevolent smile when the decapitated body falls to the ground.
The soldier's head rolls to our feet and Hisan, carelessly, crushes it with the heel of one of her boots. Fortunately I had protected myself from the blood, which colored the grass or trunks of the poor trees, which were the only witnesses to this massacre.
Hisan: These humans really care about you, half-sister. She said expressionlessly.
Fubuki: If you ask me, they don't care about me in the right way.
Hisan: You don't say...
Fubuki: Anyway, these humans can waste all their time looking for me. It won't change anything.
Hearing what one of the soldiers said about me, repulsed me to my core. It's one of the things I hate and will always hate. Obsessive perverts who pay disgusting attention to my appearance.
I probably suffered when I was still in this human society, where men looked at me with such malicious perversity.
Either way, I try to forget what this corpse said and approached the helicopter, until Hisan added.
Hisan: Are you sure?
I stopped. As Kawaita ate a hand she had cut off to serve as a snack, she looked at us worriedly, feeling some tension between us.
Fubuki: What do you mean by that Hisan? Are you implying that any attention towards me might trick me and cause me to stumble and come back to them?
Hisan: I don't know half-sister. I don't know you, so I don't know what you might be planning behind our backs.
Kawaita: Girls... This is really not the time.
I look at her harshly. This woman... She has the nerve to tell me such a thing. I seem like someone who could potentially betray them, with a snap of a finger and then I would abandon my own family, without worries?
Even my succession to the throne?
Moreover, it seems that for her, this eventuality is highly logical...
Tss, I must not fall for her tricks. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of opening hostilities. If her strategy is to bring me down, she may be disappointed.
However, I would not allow myself to ignore her shenanigans.
Fubuki: What are you playing at Hisan?
Hisan: ...
Kawaita: ...
Fubuki:...
Hisan: Nothing. I apologize, if my words were offensive. I'm used to not trusting anyone, even you half-sister. I'm just frank and direct but I'm not scheming anything. I'm not stupid and if I have any animosity towards you, I will put it aside during this mission, because it's far too important to fail. Half-sister, I want to tell you that even though we will be attempting to kill each other in a couple days, I would like you to know that I will accomplish exactly what we were ordered to do.
Fubuki: Me too, I won't hurt you either and I won't do anything to disadvantage you. The clan comes first.
Hisan: I'm glad you agree with me half-sister.
Fubuki: Also, you can call me Fubuki.
Hisan: Good, Fubuki.
Kawaita: That's better!
Hisan: Kawaita, I hope for your sake that you didn't kill them all.
Kawaita: It's true that they have a certain taste that I like but don't worry, I left the most beautiful one alive!
She brought a man in a pilot's uniform to us, pushing him gently. The pilot fell at Hisan's feet and raised his head, to find out whose black leather boots had golden edges.
Pilot: Please! Don't kill me! I'll do anything you want!
Hisan lifted up this poor man, frightened to be surrounded by monsters, who had casually slaughtered his companions. My half-sister looked at him with a deceptively compassionate look, her eyes beginning to have a greenish glow.
Hisan: Don't worry poor human, I will give you the honor of helping us without any ulterior motives.
