One month later Ben and charm caster were living in an orphanage after finding out that they permanently transformed into children and without their abilities and in an unknown universe they decided to stick together after an large argument spanning over a week but in the end after experiencing this world they decided that it'll be best if they stick together.
at the beginning it was rough but soon they learned to take care of themselves, they just sleep and ate and looked after each other's as much as they could al the while trying to get there powers but to no avail.
one day Ben was telling about all the mischief he used to cause in his school. when an subject arose.
"by the way, why do you hang out with hex anyway? Ben asked "i mean you helped us a few times so you can't be all that bad".
"well "charmcaster heisted but decided to tell him about herself just a little "because he is the last family I have left". Ben got quite hearing that, so she was always alone and with that hex so no wonder that she is like that.
Ben looked at her "hey I know that it right now probably doesn't mean much to you but maybe when we get back you could I don't know ditch hex and come with us".
She didn't respond "beside I can be your friend, then we can prank that dweeb together".
"Thanks but I am a bit tired" she said and went into the orphanage.
Just like that ben got to know her, and well he was seeing her more and more like kevin not just some spoiled brat, they lived there for 3 years still trying to regain their abilities but to no avail.
Year 775 one day ben and charmcaster were going back to the orphanage now both 10 year old then ben heard it.

Sounds of large explosions ben looked behind him and saw that it was some people wearing clocks and masks with weird carvings on them
ben without thinking for one second grabbed charmcaster's hand and pulled her away and ran.
"what the hell is going on?" she asked too used to the peaceful life of them.
"bad guy" ben said completely serious he looked at the omnitrix which was blueish-pinkish still not working and to charmcaster's bag which was shut due to loss of Mana.
Ben looked behind them and saw that the bad guys were getting closer when.
"OUCH" charmcaster fell ben could swear he had heard something crack.
"are you allright?" ben asked as he kneeled in front of her "let me see".
He looked at hwe and saw that her leg was bleading and thankfully the sound of cracking was fron an tree branch which she steped on.

She couldn't stand up properly she must have sprained her feet, seeing that ben kneeled and picked her up and ran.
"leave me" she said "I am just slowing you down, at this rate we both will be captured".

Ben ran with all he had but the hooded people were coming toward's them, and ben was not fast enough ben stopped and looked around, that's when he saw an small allyway just big enough for them to pass through so ben ran to it.
"hang on" ben screamed and jumped over a dustbin grunting as he landed and ran to the other side.
Ben came to a stop he looked around there was just flames and wreackeg then he looked at charmcaster very worried.
Then ben made an decision and took an serious expression "hey listen" ben said as he ran "we have been together for 3 yearn in this new world".
"yeah so" she said looking over his sholder and telling him about the magic blasts coming there was so he could doge.
"so I wanna thank you for not leaving me alone" he said "like really I don't know how would I survive here all alone without my powers".

Ben slid on the ground, hugging charmcaster as he watched an purple magic blast go over them and hit the house in front of them.
"so what I want to say is that you are literally the closest thing I got to a friend here, even if you tried to kill me or take over my body".

She looked at him "well run now we can talk later".
Ben nodded as he spotted what he was looking for.
"well I just need one favour from you" he said as he ran to it.

"do as I say" ben stopped before a large metal box and put charmcaster down.
"why are we stopping?".
"you are right at this rate they will catch us both" ben said as he looked her dead in the eye.
"yeah that's why I was telling t=you to leave me behind but you have to be an hero" she said.
"hey I am a Tennyson, its an occupational hazard" ben gave her a big grin.
"so what's the plan" she asked.
"you aren't going to like it" he said,
"well tell me already".
"ok listen you are injured so you can't run very fast so you hide and I'll distract them, lead them far away from here" ben said.
charmcaster's expression fell "no" she yelled "I'll go, I can-".
"do nothing" ben countered "you don't have your powers and are injured if you go out there then you'll be captured in an second, I am faster than you and smaller I can lead them away" ben held her shoulders and looked her dead in the eye "this is our best chance".
She looked at him for a second she knew that she was too weak now and that ben was right.
She hugged ben tightly "be safe" she said softly after living with ben for three years he he grown on her "and come back please I can't lose you too".

"what?" she asked.
"charmcsaster can't be your real name can it?" ben asked.
"no, its not" she said.
"well will you tell me or what?" ben asked smirking.

"Hope eh? It's a good name" ben said and opened up the bin.
But what he found was not e=what he had expected in it was another girl.
Ben looked at her and saw that her eyes were filled with fear.
"don't worry" ben said as charmcaster looked at her with mild surprise.
"listen this is my friend I'll leave you with her she'll take care of you" ben said charmcaster was older then her so she can take care of her…probably, she hit him with her elbow ben shot her a look that said please she hesitated for a second and then nodded.
"she is hurt" ben said as he helped charmcaster up "so you both take care of each other, ok".
Ben looked at charmcaster in the eye "you stick together".
Ben knew that after this charmcaster might revert back to her old ways and he couldn't let that happened having someone who went through the same thing might help her ben knew that she was hiding how her father died and it was not pretty, she was traumatised and looking at how she was reacting to all this ben concluded that she went through something like this before, she was trying her best to hide it but ben could see through it, ben an lived with her for 3 years so ben could tell whenever she was hiding something.
They both nodded and ben closed the lid and ran away.
Ben looked around as he ran and spotted an broken tree branch that was just thick enough to be used as a club. Ben picked it up and ran.
"AHHH" ben heard a voice of a little girl. Ben being ben ran towards it and saw a little girl about the same age as him being surrounded by three hooded figured.
Ben looked around and saw a staircase leading to the second floor of the house just behind the them ben smirked and climbed to the second floor and took an giant stone in his other hand and some sand.
Ben took aim and threw the stone on towards them and it hit one of the bad guy square on the head, knocking him out.
The other two looked around looking for who threw it but ben had hidden himself already, ben then sneaked a peak to see where they were and saw that one of them had his back turned to ben so ben jumped down at him and swing the club with all his might at his head knocking him out.
The last one looked at ben and ran to him but then ben threw the club at his leg, his knee specifically and heard an scary sound of his knee breaking.
'guess I didn't need the sand for a smokescreen after all' ben thought and ran to the girl and took her hand.
"come on" ben yelled at her, she took his hand without a second thought and they both ran.
They ran as fast as they could but couldn't outrun them.
Ben looked behind him and saw over a dozens of them following them. Ben gritted his teeth and looked at the girl.
"hey listen I'll hold them back and you run" at this rate they both will be captured ben was used to dealing with bad guys but this girl was not and ben was a hero so he gotta do what he gotta do.
She looked a bit hesitant so ben yelled again "run with this at least one of us will escape but if you don't run then they will get us both".
"we have better chances to survive of we stick together" she said with an fierce expression leaving ben surprised, she was almost like ben. Expect she was a girl and had red hairs instead of brown.
Ben grinned "alight then let's give them hell".
And they ran and ran soon they came in to the end of the road. Two different paths were in front of them.
"you go that way and ill go that way" ben said she nodded and they both ran.
But a second later ben came back "sorry unknown girl but I can't let those freaks go after you".
Ben looked at the crowd that was coming to him and yelled.
"hey you freaks did your mom know that you were her cloths" ben jumped and taunted them, which was successful which was bad for ben.
"ok now I run" ben said and ran to the other side everyone following ben soon they caught up to ben.
"well I don't guess that you will let me go would you?" ben couldn't resist asking.
They rushed at ben managed to knock out two of them but the third one git him with that weird energy thingy.
'at least that girl managed to escape" ben thought a bit tired from all the running.
"hey boss" he heard a voice "look I found this one on the other side" ben looked up.
'No' ben thought and started to struggle "let her go you freaks" it was the same girl he had told to run to the other side.
"she was foolish enough to come back and rescue her friend here" ben's eyes went wide.
She tried to help ben but why?
Ben started to struggle more and bit the hand that was holding him up.
"AHHH".
"this kid bit me".
Ben ran and head-butted the freak that was holding the girl who let her go due to shock.
"why did you come back" ben asked.
"because you led them away and I couldn't leave you" it looks like she had found out that ben led them away.
They fought but…well what can two kids do against that many people.
The last thing ben remembered was a boot to his face.
