Ruby Hobbit Anonymous here with an update on this story that 1,236 of you keep looking to see if its going to continue after a year of no updates. Sorry about that. However, thankfully the story has not actually been on pause as Silver threads is about to be published soon and Ruby Hakamada (the character that is based after me because dammit I want to be involved in this story and I also wanted to give the Hero's from the show who are teaching our wonderful protagonist and his classmates everything they need to know along with pulling all of our heart strings, more of a story from their pasts and giving them an incredible story even though none of it pertains or will ever matter to the actual show. Sometimes I hate being a fan of things but fuck it I love being creative), has been revealed and is loved by some of my followers on Twitter where I regularly post art (not the best art but hey you know what it is at least and can make your own to if you better at drawing than me and want to make her more badass I would love to see that actually because that is some of the best support I can receive as a writer for this page).
Anyways this is an update for you guys to keep an eye out for Silver Threads because it is connected to this story as well as a mini prequel x sequel mash up that will blow your damn mind out of the sky because I did not work on this for over a year to leave yawl hanging without any context. However, not to mention now is the best time for me to post this and hype you all up because we are almost at the end of the manga where the fight and everything will reveal all and we can see how the world is really gonna be and its amazing and dark and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh (excuse me while I fangirl for a bit) Now I know the anime is not quite at this part yet. I know that some of yawl don't read the manga either so instead of just spoilers from the show I know that this story is now going to contain spoilers from the manga which means
IF YOU HAVENT READ IT OR CAUGHT UP WITH THE SHOW THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME MAJOR SPOILERS! MAJOR FUCKING SPOILERS THAT WILL MAKE YOU GO HUH, WAIT A MINUTE, WHAT?!
Not to mention there are also chapters in silver threads that are based of the vigilantes comic which is a mini side series to the main manga My Hero Academia and unless you are a huge fan/nerd like me who reads this stuff (enter cinema sins voice person: NEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRDDDD!) You probably have no idea what the hell I am talking about. So again I cannot stress the level of this SPOILERS ARE AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON IN THIS TRILOGY OF STORIES THAT I HAVE WORKED MY ASS ON DURING MY VERY LITTLE FREE TIME!
Which leads me to my next point on why the fuck I have been gone and didn't post an update for fucking ever. So when I started all of this I was injured, just getting out from my surgery, covid was high, I had nothing I could possibly do for a long ass time and this was my escape during my recovery because it was during a time in my life that I literally had absolutely no one around anymore and when I did have people I lost them all and they all ditched me for my ex during a breakup and shit just hit the fan. Majorly in my life, and so writing for you guys was one of the best things for me for that year of recovery. However, since I have gotten back to working and figuring out all the kinks with the screws in my leg still, and trying to fix my life and get better, and make new friends, move to a new place, and make wonderful food for people to enjoy (that's my job, I am a cook for a living for a couple 100 people who have begun to say my sweets and dishes taste like heaven which has brought my spirits up to over LV9000) HOWEVER, busy I was though during my free time I spent it looking up everything I possibly could and began writing and rewriting and rewriting and rewriting a million times of rewriting because I kept hitting a brick wall until fucking recently where I have something I can finally post for you. Also during my free time, I have begun a tiktok, Twitter has blown up and I make commissions for others so you can talk to me there, I also do this on Instagram just that one isn't as popular as much of anything else. I do have a facebook but I have had to turn that one off because dammit creeps out there who love my shit, I am glad you love my shit but I WILL NOT FUCKING DATE YOU OR SEND YOU NUDE PICKS OF MYSELF BECAUSE I POST SOME THIRST TRAPS FOR FUN! W NOT OKAY!
Anyways that is why you guys haven't really gotten much of an update. However, that is about to change because everything that I have (other than tiktok unless its during a live and you ask me questions) is going to be all about and filled with A Cursed Life, and Silver Threads.
Also fair warning there is a new place to read about this on. Called Archive of Our Own or AO3. I have an account, and I will be posting this story on there to and deleating it and reposting it on here in a way that it is all just one chapter and you can read it all in one go instead of bit by bit by bit where you potentially might not have any internet connection and be stuck on a cliffhanger and you cant get to the next chapter until you're back home. This will take a couple hours to read. Wattpad complains at me that its like a 10hr long story (suck it bitch learn to be a nerd and quite yelling at me to shorten the damn thing when its fucking amazing) So it will definitely fill your time. Also I will be making a playlist for this story for your lovely years to listen to while you read so you aren't in just plain silence for hours on end and can get more into the story.
