Chapter 17: Christmastime
Christmas was coming. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow and the black lake froze solid. A few owls that managed to battle their way through the stormy sky to deliver mail, One of them happened to be Snow.
Xavier ripped open the letter and began to read while the Twins and Jason looked with inquiry:
Dear Xavier,
As mentioned in our last letter congratulations on making it to Gryffindor. Anyway, Harry and Hailey are so excited to have you home for Christmas they both have picked out special presents for you, I was also wondering if you'd like to invite your friends over for Christmas if they are not going home for Christmas.
Anyway, can't wait to see you soon

Lucian looked over at Jason and the Twins as he spoke "I do feel so sorry, for all those people who have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because they're not wanted at home."". The Slytherins chuckled. Xavier, who was still reading the letter, ignored them. Bole had been even more unpleasant than usual since the Quidditch match. Disgusted that the Slytherins had lost, Bole jealous and angry, had gone to taunting his friends.
"just ignore them" said Xavier for the sixth time as he saw the twins and Jason about ready to kill Lucian, they all turned and faced Xavier faces red with anger. Xavier began to laugh, "wow I could literally fry an egg on your faces" he said jokingly, with this everyone began to laugh "anyway…guess what my mum said that if you aren't going home for Christmas, which you aren't, then if you want rather than staying here you could come home from Christmas with me" Everyone's face lit up "yes of course I'd love to come to your home for Christmas and I'm pretty sure the Twins do to and if they don't then their mad…mad I tell ya" said Jason his mouth opened wide while looking at the Twins who were nodding vigorously. Xavier pushed back his chair and said "well…I better send a letter home then aye" and then he walked off to the owlery with Snow on his shoulder.
