Chapter 2: Imhotep and ancksunamun nursey their daughter the o Connell's look for them and reunite with ardeth bay.
Serenity was breathing heavily in her sleep in the middle of the night, she had a fever spike, and this did not go unnoticed by her parents ever since then they been awake taking care of their poor moonlight, ancksunamun puts the cool washcloth on her forehead, and got up with tears in her eyes and she went to the balcony, Imhotep followed hugging her from behind, he said" beloved she'll wake up and realize your gone", ancksunamun said " maybe she's better off without me I practically abandoned you at ahm shere ", he said" this is true but you're here now we were together in the underworld were we not", ancksunamun said" well yes that's all true but it doesn't excuse me of being a terrible mother I let our daughter I put her in the position where she was kissed on the cheek by Alex O'Connell, and she used all of her energy finding the book reviving our bodies with her magic, and she used the last of it to revive us and now she's sick", Imhotep said" yes all those did happen and I am not happy about the O'Connell boy kissing her on the cheek either but she needs her mother you're the perfect mother no matter what" ancksunamun smiled and said" you really think I'm that good of a mother" he said" I know you are my beloved ancksunamun " they kissed , and serenity started tossing and turning in her sleep they ran over each on one side of the bed, ancksunamun said" serenity moonlight darling baby honey wake up", Imhotep said" serenity moonshine stardust sweetheart you need to wake up its just a dream its only nightmare" they couldn't wake her up until she woke up on her own jolting up in bed coughing and crying at the same time, ancksunamun said" shh baby its ok you're ok calm down mommy's here daddy's here you're okay your safe", crying serenity said" was just like I was back in ancient times I lost you all over again I couldn't bring you back " Imhotep said" it's just a nightmare dearest it's not real you're ok" serenity was shaking ancksunamun pets her head, when she had told Imhotep she was pregnant with his child he was over the moon, and on the night of her birth they named her serenity and asked the gods to protect her, ancksunamun said" sweetheart I'm right here go back to sleep please", serenity shook her head, ancksunamun got behind serenity held her and started rocking gently, ancksunamun sang " Hush Now Don't Be Scared Though This Tide Of Darkness Shadows May March Thunders May Roar But Peace Will Still Prevail Through Our Land This Sacred Land Nightmares Spread Confusion But Stand Your Ground Until You've Found The Strength To Light Your Way" ancksunamun looked at serenity and saw she was half asleep , and she smiled and laid her down half sleep serenity said" don't leave me alone mommy please" and ancksunamun said " don't worry dear were not now go to sleep and rest and as soon as your strong enough were moving somewhere else", serenity nods, and fell asleep thank goodness they had chosen a fancy hotel in Cairo they knew they would never look for them here, Meanwhile with the O'Connell's they arrived in Cairo Egypt and they say ardeth and he walked over and said" well looks like you brought him back what did you do to do that" rick said" you didn't mention he and ancksunamun had a kid" and, ardeth said" what what do mean " Alex said" we were in another part of Egypt in the temptel of the moon princess when we found a sleeping teenage girl in it so dad read half the in script and told me to kiss the girl" and lin said" and as his girlfriend I was offended" ardeth asked " who is she" , Alex said" get to her in a minute anyway I kissed her she woke up mom finished reading the writing and that's when she said she was imhopets and ancksunamuns daughter and she was going to get the book of the dead and bring them back", ardeth said" so it's true I heard the stories of the moon princess of Egypt but I never thought them to be true " and Johnathan said" yeah you didn't happen to mention Imhotep has a daughter!" and ardeth said" like I said I thought they were only stories but if what you say is true then" and rick said" great we have to deal with Imhotep and ancksunamun all over again" and lin said I'm lin Alexs girlfriend and what about Imhotep must I know", and ardeth said" only that he wish to destroy them and take over world " lin said" ah so it's one of those and enemy comes back and you have to fight them things ok that shouldn't be a problem " , ardeth said " Alex when actually did you get a girlfriend", they told the story of the dragon emperor , ardeth said" I'm sorry about your mother she must have meant a lot to you" and lin said" she did now she's at peace we must find serenity", rick said" I bet there at a fancy hotel" Johnathan said" why would you say that rick", evey said" maybe it's because I just asked someone", Alex said" alright let's go kick their butts" and then Imhotep, ancksunamun and serenity showed, and serenity said" no! I won't let you I wont loose them not again", she blasted them with her magic and then serenity vision got blurry and she couldn't hear her parents talking to her because of the hazy in her head and she felt her fever go up, and she collapsed and ancksunamun said" serenity! Baby please oh please wake up honey wake up please moonlight!", she glared at the O'Connell's and said" look what you've made her do!", Imhotep picked up serenity into his arms and said" my love let's go we need to get her somewhere better for her ", and ancksunamun said" your right you shall pay Nefertiti you and your family" and they left and ardeth said "is everyone ok" and Jonathan said "oh yes I'm fine for just getting blasted by the mummy's daughter!", Alex said" lin are you ok" she nodded and evey said" we need to go after them but we need transport" and rick said" yep and I know just who we need", mean while later with the evil family they had finally found another fancy hotel and serenity was in bed unconscious breathing hard and heavily, Imhotep was sitting in a chair by his daughter bed and ancksunamun was on her knees at serenity's bedside praying to the gods for her to be alright and finally their prayers were answered because serenity's eyes began to flutter open and her parents saw this and ancksunamun said" serenity your awake! Oh, thank the gods our prayers have been answered we were so worried moonbeam", serenity said "the O'Connell's they" she was interrupted in mid-sentence because of a coughing fit and Imhotep said "we know darling they'll pay but first you need to rest and recover your very sick and you need to focus on getting better." And ancksunamun said" and once your well darling we will take over this world and rule it with an iron fist and you will be crown princess moonlight" she nods and she yawns and they pulled the covers over her and tucked her in and Imhotep said" now get some sleep you need it ", ancksunamun sings said" hush now my baby hush love don't cry sleep as your rocked by the streams sleep in the moonlight where we'll be so we'll be with you when you dream." Serenity smiled falling asleep and Imhotep said "she sleeps see you are good mother "ancksunamun nods laying her head on his chest.
