The girl walked around on the street. Normally, her parents would accompany her, but she convinced them that she would be fine, despite their initial reluctance. Even though the girl was ten, she was really mature for her age. She walked around Paris, looking for something to eat. Her family moved there from America three years ago. Mom said it was due to Dad's job at the department. They were really overprotective, and when we say that, we meant overprotective. They never let her go out, except for the nearby grocery store sometimes. They always said that the world was filled with monsters and diseases, so they didn't let her go out, except for today.
The girl stopped at a place called Tom and Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. An older woman was at the counter. Her name was Sabine Chang. She said, "Oh, hi. I'm surprised you're out here at this time." The girl was confused. She said, "Oh, I know it's late. But, I want to surprise my parents with macarons. They love them." Miss Sabine said, "Okay, what would you like?" The girl said, "Six mango ones for Mom, six passionfruit ones for Dad, and six red velvet ones for me." Miss Sabine took out some macarons, put them into boxes, and handed them to the girl. She said, "That will be $7.95." She took out some cash from her pocket, and handed it to her. Miss Sabine said, "I think you'd better hurry home with those macarons." The girl asked, "Why?" "That's why."
She looked out the window to find a strange dragon-like creature flying around the city, terrorizing everyone in it's path. The girl thanked Miss Sabine for the macarons, and ran out to get a better look. Two people were attacking the dragon. One was a girl wearing a red suit with black spots, and black hair in ponytails. The other was a blonde-haired boy wearing a black suit with cat ears and a tail. The girl was watching the events unfold in an interested manner while eating her red velvet macarons. Unfortunately, watching the events on the sidewalk proved to be a not-so-good idea.
The dragon creature saw the girl and used its tail to swat her, and she began flying towards a building. Thankfully, the girl with the red costume saved her. She took the girl, and hid her behind one of the nearby buildings. "Thank you, um..." "Ladybug, and you're welcome, kid." Ladybug was going to go back to the fight, until she realized that the dragon creature was gone. The cat guy said, "My lady, I was fighting the sentimonster, but it suddenly disappeared." Ladybug then said, "Come on, Cat Noir. Let's go." Cat Noir and Ladybug then left, and the girl ran away.
Meanwhile, the dragon had morphed back into it's original form, Zeena Broomsbury. Zeena said, "Hmm, this town has superheroes. Oh, well, I'll figure it out later." Zeena then pulled out her broom, and then flew away, waiting for her plan to be acted.
