After taking some more time to look around the base we found an elevator that lead us to the surface, we got outside to discover the landing site of the base.
Dawson: Sonic, I think we should split up, you and Tails go in the nearby woods to see if you can find anything that we can use to fix my ship me and Tails will investigate the area to see if we can figure out the disappearance of the G.U.N. agents. Once I find a place to set up camp I'll send the coordinates to you 2, we'll meet me up there.
Sonic: Sounds like a plan Daws good luck. we'll see you later
As they left I made my way through the landing site as well as going through undiscovered parts of the base, I than stumbled upon a satellite dish once finding out how to activate it the transmission I tried to send through failed due to atmospheric interference. Going a bit past the satellite dish I found the ship of the G.U.N. agents, one of the dead soldiers laid beside a terminal accessing it. Going through the data I managed to find their final report, I could now see what happened to these troopers. They were on patrol as they encountered an unknown Eggman frigate, managing it to send the frigate on a crash landing to the planet. Like my ship, G.U.N.'s ship was also damaged by the storm in Nippon's atmosphere. Landing on the planet they split up into 2 teams, one of them to set up a base the other to repair the ship. They were doing fine until the same creatures we encountered appeared. The agents fought well but were eventually overrun by the creatures, than the last surviving agent sent an S.O.S. in hopes someone would answer it. The said agent was one that lied dead near the terminal, clearly his hopes were answered when we showed up.
Than I found some leftover supplies, blasting it open said supplies happened to be a missile launcher. I than used it to open up some new areas, the area I found happened to lead in to some sort of temple, inside was one of those creatures but a bigger version of it. Strafing around said creature and firing missiles I defeated the creature with ease. It released some mysterious light that was an unknown item. Deciding to use this area has a campsite I sent the coordinates to Tails and Sonic. As they arrived they introduced me to their new friend, Mikasa. We than sent up camp and decided to rest until morning to do more exploration on the planet.
