It was true that Rengar believed in Yorick's cause. True that he enjoyed the company of those in the forgemaster's court. It was even true that he wanted to be the one who claimed the lives of Ivern the Cruel and the Demon of Bilgewater. But there was one ultimate truth that blanketed all of this in a shadow of insignificance: the Triad had also paid for his service's, and paid a much higher amount. Nearly twice as much.

Never in his life has he pursued his prey as sloppily and haphazardly as he did in chasing down Ivern. Once he'd glanced over his shoulder and seen that Singed had taken the bait, he uttered a growl a few octaves lower than the random snarling he'd been doing thus far. Like that oaf would notice the difference. Even now, he could hear Singed calling out as he struggled to catch up.

"Hey! Wait up man, I think we sho–"

Ivern recognized the signal and tossed some kind of seed that hit Rengar in the side of the head and exploded into a forcefield of energy arround him. It expanded, even as Rengar leapt out of the bushes came down with his razor sharp claws. But Singed's reflexes were fast. Too fast.

"What the hell?" he cried as he dodged a swing from the trophy hunter's blade.

The energy bubble expanding around Rengar popped and knocked the beekeper off balance. Rengar slashed with the claws. Singed yelled and fell back as a wound opened up across his chest. Blood wasn't pouring from the wound however. Was that... honey?

What the hell?

Already the bee stings were becoming unbearable. Rengar swatted and roared but it was no use. They were having none of it. Luckily, another seed bounced off his shoulder and sealed him in another temporary bubble of energy. Singed turned and ran. Ivern chuckled. A clump of tall grass sprouted up at Rengar's feet and he immediately leapt out with both the claws and the blade raised high.

Red Package

So I kinda spent too much time playing this and not enough time writing. It is what it is. So yeah, I'm late but I'm here. Get at me.
