The Midoriya residence, first day going to UA high.
Izuku stands in front of the bathroom mirror admiring his new haircut, since I got into UA, I think a change is in order plus it looks good. He stares for a couple more moments at the faded sides of his head. Walking out of the bathroom towards the front door of the apartment, Izuku grabs his yellow backpack.
standing in front of the apartment's front door, wearing the UA uniform a gray blazer with a red tie and navy green pants, Izuku takes out his phone while struggling mildly to untangle his headphones.
He's about to open the door, though he stops hearing his mother's voice, '' Izuku sweetie, I just wanted to say I'm proud of you.'' He glances back seeing his mother with a warm smile on her face, and tears beginning to form at the corners of her eyes.
Izuku gives an equally warm smile before stepping out the door. He sighs dismissively, she's my mother, so the love and praise I get from her doesn't count.

At UA High.
Izuku walks through the halls of UA looking for his assigned classroom, after a few minutes of searching he finds a rather large door, with a wooden plaque beside it, in bold gold lettering it reads 1 A.
He stops in front of it thinking contemplatively, is this just flashy architecture or are there students with quirks that make them that large?
Opening the door, Izuku's first sight is Bakugou, headphones in scrolling through his phone with one foot on his desk. The same tall boy Tenya Ida. with blue hair and glasses, that Ochako had observed in the entrance exam, tries to reprimand him rather animatedly. Bakugou exhales irritated, he puts down his phone staring up at Tenya, he says with a calm face and authoritative tone, '' You annoyed me in the auditorium during the entrance exam, for having one of my headphones in, and you're annoying me again. I'm gonna let you off easy since it's the first day, but I'm warning you. Don't bother me again.''
Tenya momentarily stunned by this is unable to give a response. Izuku still in the doorway feels a light tap on his shoulder, while simultaneously hearing a bubbly voice, '' You're kind of in the way.'' Izuku turns around seeing Ochako the girl he had a brief run in with before. She stares at him briefly before saying in recollection, '' You're the boy with the broken arm and leg from the entrance exam. I didn't recognize you with that new hairstyle.''
Ochako's brief thoughts are accompanied by a slight bit of malice, normally, I'd make you pay severely for making me throw up. However, the judges seem to have thought I had tried to save you intentionally, and the points I got for that landed me at second place. So, I guess we can call it even.
Izuku size internally while thinking dejectedly, I forgot that she saw me like that... This really isn't a great start to my image
Izuku says with an expression of familiarity, '' Oh yeah, I think I remember you, the hologram from my UA acceptance letter showed that you were the one who saved me. My name's Midoriya Izuku, and thanks for that, by the way.'' Ochako says in a friendly tone, '' Don't mention it, I'm Uraraka Ochako.''
Unbeknownst to either of them a man with a large yellow sleeping bag draped over his shoulder stands behind Ochako. His long black hair is well kept, along with his goatee and mustache. A large grey bandage like scarf sits around his neck. Although some aspects of his appearance are well kept, others are not, his thick long sleeve black shirt, along with his slightly baggy black pants and boots, seemed to be in a bit of a weathered condition. His eyes also seem to have bags under them. With a drone of authority, he says, '' Get to your seats and be quiet.''
The students of 1A witnessing this either move to their seats or stay quiet. Standing behind his desk, yellow sleeping bag still draped over his shoulder. The man begins to say in his authoritative drone, '' Aizawa Shota your homeroom teacher.'' Aizawa then reaches under his desk pulling out a large black duffel bag, he unzips it while saying, '' Head to the changing rooms and put these on, then meet me outside.''
A girl with beautiful features and long hair done in a ponytail raises her hand rather elegantly. Shota nods his head while pointing at her, signaling she's free to speak, ''How come we are not attending the orientation?''
Shota's drone has a bit more energy as he answers, '' UA Has given its teachers the freedom to run their class as they see fit. So, I've decided my class will not be attending the orientation. I'll inform all of you with more detail on what we're doing once we're outside.''
Shota looks throughout the classroom before saying with his authoritative drone, '' No further questions, good, now get moving.''

Outside on a UA sports field.
The students all stand in a group, they wear blue tracksuits that have a white u running from their collarbones to their chest, along with a white A running from their stomachs to the bottom of their pants. Shota stands a few feet away from them.
Taking out a phone, he begins looking at where all his students placed in the entrance exam. Shota then points at Bakugo and Ochako, '' The order you will all be taking the test in, will be the rank you've gotten in the entrance exam. The two of you received first and second place, which means you'll be going up first. Unlike fitness tests in middle school, you will be using your quirks, this will give me an idea of your capabilities.''
Shota's gaze becomes rather serious, as he continues to speak, '' if I find your skills are lacking, you will be expelled.''
Bakugou stands with a relaxed posture as he thinks about the test, this will give me a rough idea whether or not I stand as 1A's apex, or if there are others I'll have to surpass. Although since I achieved first in the entrance exam, it's likely that I'll be setting the benchmark.
Ochako has a slight nervous smile, and her eyes begin glancing at her classmates as she begins to think. I think I should be fine regarding the test. Both her glances and thoughts slowly become more observant, this should be a good opportunity, to learn more about my classmate's quirks and personalities. I'll focus on the female members of class 1A for now, since they'll be easier to approach later.
Izuku's facial expression is calm, however, his thoughts are panicked and frustrated. What the hell am I supposed to do, I don't have any control over the quirk and I'm not as athletic as the others...I'll just have to use it ones, to at least show what I'm capable of, because if I use it multiple times, I'll definitely pass out from the pain. that'll probably count as a bad enough showing to get me expelled.
The other students react with two expressions either relative calm or slight nervousness.
Shota begins walking towards Izuku after seeing his relatively calm expression. Staring down at the boy with disapproving eyes he asks with a serious drone, '' Aren't you rather calm for someone who managed to get in on a fluke?''
The students, other than Bakugou, shift their attention towards Shota and Izuku after hearing this. Izuku meets Shota's gaze, his face is calm although his voice holds a slight bit of nervousness, '' I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about, Mr Aizawa.''
Shota begins to explain with narrowed eyes fixed on Izuku, '' Your quirks power and the strategy you used to gain points so fast would be rather commendable, unfortunately you ended up severely injuring yourself due to your inability to control your own quirk.''
Shota then begins walking back to his original spot, while continuing to say, '' Due to you developing your quirk extremely recently, I suppose this is normal. However, I'll be paying special attention to you during this physical test.''
The students of 1A aside from Bakugou, after hearing Shota's words, begin to stare and glance at Izuku in a way he is far too familiar with. Izuku silently grits his teeth as he thinks in frustration, those looks of disapproval... I thought... I thought I could finally get away from them, but they even follow me here. His thoughts slowly become both accepting and determined, there's nothing I can do about it for now. Other than to learn One for All as quickly as possible.
Shota gestures to Ochako and Bakugou to take their starting places for the first test, the 50-meter dash. They stand beside one another on the track.
Ochako begins tapping her clothes with the tips of her fingers, using her zero-gravity quirk, to remove the weight of her clothing. Bakugou merely begins flexing and unflexing his hands, glancing at the person that stands at his side while pondering, I'll need to use a bit of caution to avoid injuring her.
At the end of the track, a machine meant to record their time releases a buzzing sound, signaling them to start.
Bakugou swipes his left hand backwards, creating a strong explosion, that propels him forward halfway down the track with extraordinary speed. Swiping backwards with his right hand, he creates a far stronger explosion that propels him to the end of the track. The machine then says in a robotic voice, '' three seconds.''
As Ochako reaches the end of the track, the machine says again, '' five seconds.'' Some members of Class 1A look at Bakugou impressed, while others begin taking the physical test more seriously than they already had, at the sight of how skilled the competition is. As Bakugo walks back to the group, he briefly thinks in mild annoyance, I could have done it in two if she weren't standing so close.
Ochako begins to observe the female members of Class 1A, as they take their turns performing the 50-meter dash, one student in particular catches her eye. A girl with yellow eyes and black sclera, with pink hair and skin and two small horns that protrude out of her head. Analytically she begins to think. Her movements and facial expressions are rather confident, she seems to be rather extroverted, due to the seriousness of this test, she holds herself back from conversating with the people around her. Her quirk also seems to allow her to produce a white liquid. It smells rather strong and it burnt the ground when she used it to increase her speed. Possibly acid, regardless, she'll be easy to approach.
Eventually Izuku performs the 50-meter dash, scoring rather low in comparison to his other classmates.
With a time of 6.3 seconds. Shota Then begin speaking with his serious drone, '' There are many things that you lack, such as control. If you used your quirk in this test, you'd severely injured the person standing next to you, along with yourself.''
All Izuku does after hearing that is walk back to the group with a calm expression. The class then moves on to the second physical test, the long jump
Bakugou stands alone on a track that leads to a pit of sand. He stares out at where the clearing they stand in ends and where the forest begins. He judges for a brief moment on how much power he'll need to use, in order to clear such a large distance. Bakugou then begins dashing towards the edge of the pit of sand, reaching it within a few moments he swipes both his hands backwards creating an explosion powerful enough, to leave a large black char mark on the ground. With the force of the explosion Bakugou arcs high into the sky.
He lands just at the edge of the clearing where the forest begins. Some of the other students look at him with envy, at how experienced he is with his quirk.
After Ochako had made her attempt at the long jump. She began analyzing her female classmates again, the one that she focused her attention on this time both intrigued and frustrated her. It was a girl whose quirk made her invisible. It's difficult to study her facial expressions or her movements, and I haven't really heard her talk. Ochako size internally, I'll focus on the ones I can observe for now.
When it came down to Izuku's turn, Shota began criticizing him before he even attempted the long jump, '' I'll tell you in advance what you lack for this test. Experience, since you do not have a proper understanding of your quirk, you would have no idea how much force to apply to clear the desired distance.'' Izuku is only barely able to make halfway across the sand pit. While his classmates either reached its edge or went completely over it. All Izuku did as a response was keep his expression calm.
The class then moved on to the third test, which was side-to-side jumping.
Bakugou used his quirk in a rather creative fashion for this test. Producing rapid strong explosions in both of his hands, that pushed him side to side at an insane speed. There was another student who was also fairly creative in his use of his quirk, The boy was short with purple ball like objects protruding out of his head. He removed them, stacking them in small clusters, that he then proceeded to bounce between. His movements were fast and impressive, although not nearly as impressive as Bakugou's.
Ochako continues to observe her classmates, after performing the side-to-side jumps, the person that catches her attention this time. Is the same girl that had questioned Shota before. Ochako feels a bit of envy as she makes her assessment of her. She's rather pretty, her personality and mannerisms seemed to be rather high class. As well as a quirk that lets her pull objects out of her body. She also seems familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it. From what I can tell, she doesn't seem that difficult to approach.
Izuku had performed OK on this test, although Shota still gave his critiques however it wasn't solely directed at Izuku, '' The displays of your quirk thus far have been rather simplistic and uncreative. Finding unique ways to use your quirk is extremely essential. There are also others outside of you in the class that need to use their quirk in more creative aspects.''
The class then moved on to the 4th test. The grip strength.
Shota began handing out devices meant to measure he's students group strengths. Because of this, there was no specific order in which they had to go in.
Bakugou had decided to let others set the pace for this test. he began looking for the student that had the highest score. After a short while of looking around he managed to find him. He's rather tall, with six arms with webbing between each arm, he has silver hair and a blue face mask that covers his entire neck.
He used all three of his rather muscular arms, seemingly gaining the highest score so far on the grip strength. Seeing this Bakugou begins to grip the device, while thinking about the test thus far. It's been more annoying than anything else going first the whole time. Since I constantly have to set the pace, I have no idea how much or how little of my quirk I have to use.
As Bakugou's train of thought ends, black smoke begins flowing from the hand gripping onto the device, faint popping sounds can also be heard.
Bakugou's score begins to gradually increase, before it passes the score of the boy with multiple arms.
Bakugou size putting the device down, His thoughts are rather uninterested, the rapid series of weak explosions, got me first place in that test as well. Seems my dream of becoming the apex is starting off rather easy.
Ochako's observation continues as she performs the grip test. The person that draws her interest this time, it's a girl with frog like features and long dark, green hair. Her interest in this girl is less than the previous three. She performed the girp test with her tongue. Her quirk is a bit obvious, she seems to have the powers of a frog. Her mannerisms and personality are a bit harder to observe. Although she doesn't seem all that difficult to approach.
While Izuku was performing the grip test, Shota decided to give his criticisms, '' The thing you lack here is rather obvious. Athleticism, although you are in shape, you are not as physically capable as your other classmates.'' Izuku says nothing, merely continuing the test with a calm expression.
The class then moved on to the final test, the ball throw.
Bakugo stands in a large white circle, with several curved horizontal white lines leading out from it. His expression is rather uninterested as he casually throws the ball up into the air a couple times. He then grips onto the ball tightly, before winding his arm back and throwing it with a powerful explosion.
The force of the explosion carries the ball high into the sky, Although Bakugou does not stop there, he calmly raises both his hands into the air, releasing a barrage of explosions, that are near enough to the ball to propel it further, while also being far enough to not destroy it.
A nearby machine with a screen projects the distance that the ball traveled, 2 kilometers, the class stares in Shock and awe at the distance Bakugou was able to reach.
Ochako managed to score Infinity, due to the nature of her quirk. Although Bakugou seeing this shows no reaction. She then begins to observe the last female in the class.
A girl with short dark purple hair and long earlobes, that resemble headphone jacks. I'm assuming her quirk has something to do with her long earlobes, although I'm not sure what they do, regarding her personality and mannerisms.
They're not difficult to understand, but she is more closely guarded and she seems rather difficult to approach. The other students then proceed taking their turns performing the test.
Izuku begins walking towards the circle after receiving his ball. He grips onto it extremely tightly, as Shota's words replay in his head. His facial expression remains calm, however his eyes hold a large amount of determination in them, and the only thought he's thought regarding Shota's words are, I know, I know, I KNOW! With a One For All charged in his arm, he throws the ball. The resulting wind caused by the throw is so strong, that it nearly knocks everyone in the surrounding area off their feet.
The machine shows his score 10 kilometers. Despite this impressive score the other students look at him, with either slight fear or apprehension. However, Bakugou looks at Izuku with an animalistic ferocity, although this look quickly fades as Bakugou sees how much damage he had done to his arm.
Shota Looks at Izuku with narrowed eyes as he gives his final criticism, '' Although you lack so much, there are two things that you have. One makes you stand out, the other does not. The amount of raw power you have is astonishing, and you are determined in your aspiration to be a hero. Unfortunately, this isn't unique to you, all those that stand before you are determined as well. I want you to look at your score before you head to Recovery Girl.
Shota then pulls out a holographic projection device, that shows all the students their rank. it also revealed to them that their score is tied to how they use their quirks for each individual test.
Bakugou sees he has the rank of first. coming in firs in every individual test except the ball throw. The boy with silver hair and multiple arms, looked at him with faint surprise, thinking he had gotten first in the grip strength.
Ochako sees that she had gotten 6th and the familiar girl Yaoyorozu Momo had gotten 5th.
Izuku is unsurprised seeing he had gotten the lowest rank. he merely keeps his calm expression while walking with dejected thoughts to recovery girl's office.
