Being disappointed in Andy, Karen power walked to his room and decided to limit his exposure to Chucky. "Andy! You're spending less time with this thing!" She grabbed the doll and carried it to the back of the apartment to put it into a cupboard. Along her way, Andy tried to debate with her but Karen wasn't having it. She tossed Chucky into the cupboard and told her son that Chucky was staying in there and that was final and sent him back to his room.
Later that night, Andy was in his room in bed but could hardly sleep. He kept hearing pounding noises. What was that? Andy rolled over to his lamp and switched on the light. He squinted from being in the dark for so long. He had to go see what that pounding was. Andy looked around his room while still in his bed. He heard the pounding again and noticed that it came from outside his room. He took off his covers and leaped off his bed. He walked to his door and opened it. Andy heard the thud once again and this time it was louder since he was closer to it. That caused Andy to jump and made his heart race. He was getting scared now. "What is that?"
As if the noise heard him, the loud thud sounded making him jump again.
This time Andy saw where the noise was coming from. It was coming from the cupboard his mom put Chucky in earlier.
Chucky was tired of being locked up and was trying to bust out of his prison!
Andy stood there and froze in terror as he realized what was going on.
If Chucky broke out of the cupboard, would he attack Andy? Would he attack his mom? Would he attack his cat?
Andy didn't want to stick around to find out. So he closed his door, locked it and then tried his best to go back to sleep.
