The next day, Andy made his way back home from school. Once inside his mom's apartment, he went to the cupboard to check on his "little brother".
Surely Chucky wasn't strong enough to break out, was he?
Well, to Andy's surprise, the cupboard door was open with a hole in the glass. He took off his rucksack and placed it on the kitchen counter. Andy then walked over to the cupboard to check it out. He squat down and noticed that Chucky wasn't there anymore.
So Chucky was strong enough!
Seeing that Chucky had actually escaped made Andy feel nervous.
Where could he be?
"No way! I wonder where he went!" Andy closed the door and looked around for his "little brother". "Chucky?" he called for him. Soon Andy found a puddle of blood not far from the cupboard.
"Little brother" was standing by the corpse of Rooney on the floor.
"Rooney!" Andy yelled in shock. Immediately, tears filled up in his eyes and they began to shed. "Chucky!...you killed Rooney?"
"Kitty made us happy. Remember what you said?" Chucky then played a quote that Andy said about Rooney. "I'm so sick of this cat! I'm so sick of this cat! I'm so sick of this cat! I'm so sick of this cat!"
Andy sighed and rolled his eyes at Chucky. He hated when Chucky would use his words against him.
Since Chucky was an A.I., he didn't understand how human nature worked.
Sometimes people would say things out of anger but deep down didn't mean it.
Now that Rooney was gone, Andy was going to have to dispose of him. So he found a cardboard box, put on some gloves and placed the corpse in his casket before sending him down the garbage shute. "Goodbye Rooney."
