Our heroes are in Wild Area on a mission, to find Professor Cerise's daughter Chloe and her Yamper. Now the question is whether they will be in time to save her from the Pidove and Tranquill.
Chloe and Yamper were still running through the Wild Area trying to escape the Pidove and Tranquill.
"Yamper use NUZZLE," Cloe said.
Yamper turned toward and faced the Pidove and Tranquill and used nuzzle. "Yamper!" Cried Yamper. But unfortunately not all the Pidove and Tranquill were hit and those that were hit soon got back up.
"Oh no, we gotta get out of here!" Chloe yelled, as she grabbed Yamper.
"Yamper!" Barked the scared Yamper.
Chloe ran away with Yamper in her arms. At one point Chloe saw her bike and ran to it as fast as she could, she put Yamper in the with basket, Chloe was about to leave, but unfortunately her way was blocked by the Pidove and Tranquill. Chloe looked around and saw that she and Yamper were surrounded.
Yamper ducked into the basket, "Yamper," barked Yamper.
"Yamper we have to scare them away," Chloe said. Chloe grabbed Yamper from the basket and set him down on the ground. "NUZZLE."
Yamper got ready to attack the Pidove and Tranquill, but nothing was happening.
"Yamp?" A confused Yamper barked.
"Yamper come please use your NUZZLE," Chloe said.
"Yamper!" Yamper cried, tying to use his Nuzzle attack, but again nothing happened and little Yamper's tummy began to rumble very badly.
"You're so hungry that you don't have enough energy left to attack," Chloe said.
"Yamper," Yamper barked softly.
Some of the Pidove and Tranquill were ready to attack and used Gust against Chloe. Chloe managed to jump away and dodge the attack just in time. Chloe saw an opening and she grabbed her chance to get away and ran her and Yamper away, the Pidove and Tranquill went flying behind Chloe and Yamper one again and tried to attack them again.
At the same time Ash and Roan were also still in the Wild Area looking for Chloe and Yamper, they were now close to spot where Rookidee had last seen Chloe.
"Are we close Rookidee?" Ash asked.
"Rookidee," chirped Rookidee, "as he was nodding his head
"I don't see them anywhere," Roan said, as he looked around looking for a sign of Chloe and Yamper
"They must be around here somewhere," Ash said.
"Yeah, but where?" Roan asked.
"AAAAHHHH!" Ash and Roan turned around towards to the direction the screaming was coming from.
"That sounded like a scream," Ash said.
"That must be Chloe," Roan said.
"Let's head towards it," Ash said.
"Pika, pika," Pikachu squeaked.
Ash and Roan ran towards the scream. The two boys didn't realize they were being followed by Team Rocket.
"What are the twerps up to?" Jessie asked.
"No idea, but we have to go find out," James said.
"Let's follow them and they'll lead us right to what ever it they are after," Meowth said.
Team Rocket started to follow Ash and Roan and headed in the same direction of Chloe's scream.
Chloe and Yamper were still on the run from the Pidove and Tranquill, and they kept attacking her with a Gust attack. Chloe tripped over a rock and fell to the ground, she looked up and saw the Pidove and Tranquill coming flying at her. Chloe crawled over to Yamper and held him tightly.
"This is it for us, Yamper," a fearful Chloe said, as she closed her eyes.
"Yamper," barked the scared Yamper.
"Pikachu, THUNDERBOLT!" Shouted Ash.
Chloe opened her eyes and looked to the side and saw Pikachu leaping into the air.
"Pikachu!" Cried Pikachu.
A powerful Thunderbolt was released and hit many of Pidove and Tranquill.
Ash and Roan came running up. "Chloe are you all right?" Roan asked.
"Yes, but who are you?" Chloe asked.
"We'll get to that later, because we're not done yet. Pikachu turn to your right and do your THUNDERBOLT again," Ash said.
"Scorbunny use EMBER!" Shouted Roan.
Pikachu and Scorbunny used their attacks against the Pidove and Tranquill. The Pidove and Tranquill were blown away. Team Rocket sneaked up, but before they even started their motto under, the Pidove and Tranquill collided with them and were blown away into the air.
"This isn't fair, we didn't even got to do our motto, Jessie complained.
"Even here in Galar," James said.
"Things are not going our way," Meowth said.
"We're blasting off way too early!" Yelled Team Rocket.
"Wobbuffet," Wobbuffet cried.
Team Rocket flew off into the sky, no idea where they'd end up.
Chloe got up and walked over to Ash and Roan. "Thank you for the rescue," Chloe said.
"No problem," Ash said.
"But who are you?" Chloe asked.
"I'm Ash," Ash said.
"My name is Roan," said Roan.
"And you're Chloe," Ash said.
"How do you know that?" Chloe asked.
"We ran into your dad, he was looking for you because you hadn't come home all night," Ash said.
"And then we volunteered to look for you," Roan said.
"Thank you, for saving me and Yamper," Chloe said.
"So that's a Yamper," Ash said, pulling out his Rotom-Phone and opening his Pokédex.
Yamper, the Puppy Pokémon, This gluttonous Pokémon only assists people with their work because it wants treats. As it runs, it crackles with electricity.
"Once again thank you guys so much for the rescue," Chloe said.
"No need to thank us, thank Pikachu and Scorbunny," Ash said.
"Thank you Pikachu and Scorbunny," Chloe said
"Pika, pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"Scor, Scor," Scorbunny squeaked.
"Oh and of course a thanks to Rookidee, who searched for you from the sky and then led us to you," Ash said.
"Thank you Rookidee," Chloe said.
"Rooki," chirped Rookidee.
"Yamper," barked Yamper.
Yamper leapt from Chloe's arms and jumped toward Ash's Rookidee. Rookidee flew away and Yamper ran after it.
"No, Yamper leave Rookidee alone," Chloe said.
Chloe picked Yamper up and held him tightly in her arms. Rookidee landed on Ash's his shoulder.
"Sorry for Yamper, he has the habit to chase the bird Pokémon, even though he knows that's not allowed and that's exactly how we got in trouble in the first place," Chloe said.
"What do you mean?" Ash asked.
"Yamper was chasing a Pidove, I stopped Yamper and the Pidove flew away," Chloe explained.
"Pidove let me look that up," Roan said, as he took his phone and opened up his Pokédex app.
Pidove the tiny pigeon Pokémon, It's forgetful and not very bright, but many Trainers love it anyway for its friendliness and sincerity.
"Well this Pidove was anything but forgetful or friendly, especially when it came back with its friends," Chloe said.
"And those were Tranquill," Roan said, as he started to look for information about Tranquill in his Pokédex.
Tranquill, the Wild Pigeon Pokémon, and the evolved form of Pidove. Many people believe that, deep in the forest where Tranquill live, there is a peaceful place where there is no war.
"Well they weren't all that peaceful," Chloe.
"Yamper," barked Yamper, ready to chase Rookidee again.
"Rooki," chirped Rookidee, spreading it's wings, making itself ready to fly away again.
"Yamper don't you dare jumping out of my arms and chasing after Rookidee," Chloe said. "Sorry Rookidee, for Yamper's behavior,"
"Rooki," Rookidee chirped.
"You did well Rookidee, you do deserve your rest now," Ash said, as he called Rookidee back to its Pokéball.
"You too Scorbunny, return, Roan said, calling Scorbunny to its Pokéball.
In the meantime, Team Rocket landed in a pond in the woods, the trio come out of the pond and they were anything but happy
"Oh those little twerps will regret this, not only because they made us blasting off too early, but also because of my hair, Jessie.
"What were those crazy red glowing things we saw in the area? James asked.
"I have no idea, Jessie said.
"Why don't we try to steal one of those things for the boss, Meowth suggested.
"But we don't even know what those glowy things are or what they do, James said.
"But those things will be worth something and so the boss will be happy with it, Meowth said.
Suddenly Team Rocket heard the cry of a Pokémon, they turned and saw a Cramorant standing next to them.
"It's a Cramorant," Meowth said.
"Do you think it is the same one we encountered earlier?" Jessie asked.
"There probably so many Cramorant, so the chances are very slim...," James began.
But before James could finish his sentence, the Cramorant bit him in the nose. James screamed and ran back and forth, as he cried to get the Cramorant off his nose.
"I think it's the same one," Meowth said.
"Or all the Cramorant just love to bite James' nose," Jessie guessed.
James managed to get the Cramorant off his nose, the Cramorant jumped out of James' hands and ran into the forest. James ran toward Meowth and Jessie.
"And? James asked, showing his nose to Jessie and Meowth, that was even redder then before.
"Remember that I said your nose looked like a Gurdurr's, Meowth said.
"Yes, James said.
"Well your nose has now evolved into that of a Conkeldurr, Meowth stated.
"Why does that Cramorant have to bite my nose? James asked.
"Don't worry about that stupid bird, let's focus on the twerps and stealing their Pokémon and those red glowy things we saw, Jessie said.
"Yeah," James and Meowth said in unison.
Ash, Roan and Chloe had decided to spend the night in the Wild Area because it was already getting dark and didn't want to get lost. The next day everyone was up early and had already eaten, packed their things and were now on their way to take Chloe home. While walking, Chloe found her Rotom- Phone.
"My Rotom-Phone and luckily it still works," Chloe said.
"Call your dad, he was worried sick about you," Roan said.
"Yes, I will," Chloe said.
But before Chloe could call her dad, balls fell from the sky and landed on the ground, they exploded and surrounded our heroes with smoke, they closed their eyes and covered their mouths.
"What's going on?" Roan asked.
"What is this?" Chloe said.
"Oh I defiantly know who is beyond this," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked.
The evil laughter of Team Rocket came from above the smoke and from their balloon they looked at Ash, Roan and Chloe.
"Prepare for trouble!" Jessie said.
"And make it double!" James said.
"To protect the world from devastation!" Jessie said.
"To unite all people within our nation!" James said.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!" Jessie said.
"To extend our reach to the stars above!" James said.
"Jessie!" Jessie said.
"And James!" James said.
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" Jessie said.
"Surrender now or prepare for a fight!" James said.
"Meowth! That's right!" Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Cried Wobbuffet.
"Oh no, not those guys again," Roan said.
"Team Rocket," Ash said.
"Who are they?" Asked Chloe.
"Hey Twerpette didn't you listen to the motto, where we brilliantly introduced ourselves," Jessie said.
"That's just plain rude," James said.
"Twerps this days, they never listen," Meowth said.
"Whoa, a talking Meowth," Chloe said.
"Don't be impressed by that, they are still thieves," Ash said.
"Yeah, thieves that tried to steal Ash's Pikachu and hurt my Scorbunny," Roan said.
"You guys stay away from Pikachu!" Ash yelled.
"Oh, you little twerp, we're not here for your Pikachu this time," Jessie said.
"But for the red glowing things," James said.
"What no, you can't steal them, they're part of the Wild Area's nature," Chloe said.
"Oh little Twerpette, you're new, so I don't blame that you don't know this yet, If I want something I'm gonna get it, even if I have to steal it," Jessie said.
"Activate the claw," Meowth said.
"Here we go," James said, as he pushed a button on the remote he was holding.
A claw appeared from the bottom of Team Rocket's balloon and went toward one of the Dens, one grabbed it.
"And pull it in," Jessie said.
"No, stop! You guys are destroying the Den if you keeping going, Chloe said.
Ash grabbed Rookidee's Pokéball and summoned Rookidee. "Pikachu use your IRON TAIL and Rookidee use your PECK on the claw," Ash said.
"Go, Scorbunny!" Roan said, as he grabbed Scorbunny's Pokéball and summoned him.
"Scorbunny," squeaked Scorbunny.
"Scorbunny use your EMBER and aim it at the claw," Roan commented.
Pikachu, Rookidee and Scorbunny used their attacks on the claw, but unfortunately their attacks didn't help much.
"More power James, we'll rip this thing out of the ground!" Jessie said.
"More power, coming right up," James said.
"Oh, I don't think so, I won't let you destroy the Wild Area!" Chloe said.
"And what are you gonna do, little twerpette?" Asked Jessie in a taunting tone.
"Yamper, get ready," Chloe said.
"Yamper," barked a determined Yamper.
"Now Yamper use your NUZZLE!" Ordered Chloe.
Yamper used his Nuzzle and aimed at the claw, but even with Yamper's attack, not much damage came.
"Oh no, it's not working," Roan said.
"Guys, we have to think of something quickly, or they'll destroy the Den," Chloe said.
"If we can't destroy the claw with our attacks, we'll focus our attacks on Team Rocket itself," Ash said.
"So how do we do that?" Chloe asked.
"Like this, Rookidee use your PECK to puncture Team Rocket's balloon," Ash said.
"Rooki," chirped Rookidee.
Rookidee flew in the direction of Team Rocket's balloon and poked a hole, the balloon crashed and the crash also destroyed the claw.
"Hey who do you guys think you are?" Jessie asked.
"What gives you twerps to right to destroy our balloon?" James asked.
"You will pay for this," Meowth said.
"We'll make you pay for wanting to destroy the Den," Chloe said.
"I will not let anyone destroy the Galar, because it is my home," Roan said.
"Okay, here we go. Pikachu THUNDERBOLT!" Ash shouted.
"Scorbunny, use Ember!" Roan shouted.
"NUZZLE, Yamper!" Chloe shouted.
The three Pokémon directed their attacks at Team Rocket and the trio shot into the air.
"Not fair, blasting off twice, in such short amount of time," complained Jessie.
"No matter where we go or stand," James said.
"This one thing that will never change!" Meowth said.
"We blasting off again!" Yelled Team Rocket
"Wobbuffet!" Cried Wobbufett as he popped out of his Pokéball
Team Rocket blasted off again far into the air.
"So those guys are gone," Roan said.
"And fortunately the Den wasn't damaged," Chloe said.
"Let's keep moving," Ash said.
Ash, Roan and Chloe continued walking. After a while they came across Chloe's bike. But not only did they find her bike again, The Pidove and the Tranquill had also returned and this time with an Unfezant.
"Oh no they came back," Chloe said, as Yamper hid behind her leg.
"And this time with an Unfezant," Ash said.
Roan grabbed his Rotom-Phone and opened his Pokédex app. "Let's see what the Pokédex had to say about that," Roan said
Unfezant, the Proud Pokémon and the final form of Pidove, Unfezant are exceptional fliers. The females are known for their stamina, while the males outclass them in terms of speed. The males aslo swing their head plumage to threaten opponents.
"I bet the leader is," Ash said.
"And he's angry I can tell," Chloe said.
"What are we going to do now?" Asked Roan.
"We have to start distracting them with something," Chloe said.
"But with what?" Asked Ash.
"Food," Chloe said.
"But we have nothing left to eat," Roan stated.
"Except for your chocolate," Ash said.
"What? No, not my chocolate," Roan begged.
"Roan, it's probably the only thing that can save us now," Ash said.
"Oh, right," Roan said.
Roan opened his bag and took out chocolate bars. Roan threw the pieces of chocolate into the air and the Pidove and Tranquil went to grab the pieces and started to eat them.
"Okay and now we have to get rid of Unfezant," Ash said.
"It is a Flying-type Pokémon and are naturally weak against Electric types like Yamper and Pikachu," Roan said.
"But Yamper isn't strong enough to fight that Unfezant," Chloe said.
"Then Pikachu and I will do it," Ash said. "Are you ready, Pikachu?"
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked with a determination in his voice.
"Okay, we have to challenge him, so use your QUICK ATTACK," Ash commanded.
"Pika," squeaked Pikachu.
Pikachu ran at the Unfezant to attack him with his Quick Attack, but the Unfezant managed to dodge the attack.
"He dodged it," Roan said.
"He is fast," Chloe said.
"Pikachu look out," Ash said.
The Unfezant came at Pikachu with a Wing Attack.
"Pikachu, now use your QUICK ATTACK, to dodge Unfezant,' Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked.
Pikachu used his Quick Attack and dodged Unfezant's attack.
"Okay, Pikachu THUNDERBOLT!" Shouted Ash.
"Pikachu!" Cried Pikachu, as he launched a powerful Thunderbolt.
The Thunderbolt hit Unfezant and he was blown away. The Unfezant was blown against Chloe's bike and now her bike was also under electricity.
"Oh no my bike!" Chloe screamed.
Pikachu stopped his attack, Unfezant was lying unconscious on top of Chloe's selected bike. Pikachu ran over to Unfezant and woke him up,
"Pika, Pikachu," Pikachu squeaked.
Unfezant nodded his head, he called Pidove and Tranquill to him and flew away from Ash, Roan and Chloe.
"They are flying away," Roan said.
"Good job Pikachu, Ash said, as he was petting his best friend's head.
"My bike, Chloe said," as she looked at her fried bike.
"Sorry Chloe," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu squeaked looking at Chloe with a shamed and guilty feeling, for destroying her bike.
"Maybe now would be a good time to call your dad, Chloe," Roan said.
"Yes, I'm going to call him," Chloe said.
A few minutes later Professor Cerise's car pulled up, this got out not only Professor Cerise, but also his wife and Chloe's brother and the two Boltund. The two Boltund ran up to Yamper and cuddled up against him
"Mom, Dad, Chloe said as she ran up the her parents and hugged them
"Chloe," Talia said.
"Chloe, my sweet girl, are you all right?" Prof. Cerise Asked.
"Yes, thanks to Ash and Roan," Chloe said
"Thank you boys, for saving my daughter," Talia said.
"No problem," Ash said.
"I'm glad to see you Chloe," Parker said as he gave his big sister a hug.
It's good to see you, too, Parker," Chloe said.
"What happened to your bike?" Parker asked, looking at the remains of Chloe's electrocuted bike.
"That's my fault, sorry for that," Ash said.
"The bike doesn't matter now, the important thing is that you are okay and that you're coming home," Prof. Cerise said.
"Yeah, that's what I wanted to talk to you guys about," Chloe said.
"What's it Chloe?" Talia asked.
"Because of what happened, I realized that if I wanna be a strong trainer, I won't become one if I stay home," Chloe said.
"What are you trying to say Chloe?" Prof. Cerise asked.
"I trying to tell you guys, that I would like to start my journey and I would like to travel with Ash and Roan through Galar," Chloe said.
"Is this really what you want?" Talia asked.
"Yes, I want to get stronger and I have a feeling that if I travel with Ash and Roan, I will really become a true Pokémon trainer," said Chloe.
"If this is really what you want, we can't stop you," Talia said.
"So you guys are really okay, with me going on a journey?" Chloe asked.
"Chloe you've always been very smart and we trust your choice," Prof. Cerise.
"Thank you, mom and dad," Chloe said.
"You two boys promise to take good care of my Chloe," Talia said.
"We promise," Ash said.
"You have my word," Roan said.
"Pika, pika," Pikachu squeaked.
"Yamper, you have also have to keep an eye on her and keep her safe," Prof. Cerise said.
"Yamper," barked Yamper.
Chloe walked over to the two Boltund and kneeled in front of them. "And I promise to also take good care of Yamper and make sure he's going to be okay," Chloe said.
The two Boltund smiled and started to lick Chloe's face.
"Before you go on your journey, you have to get some stuff first," Talia said.
"Yeah, I know," Chloe said.
"Get in," Prof. Cerise said.
The Cerise family, Ash and Roan got in the car and drove towards the Cerise house. After a nice hot meal and after Chloe packed her bag, Professor Cerise brought Ash, Roan and Chloe back to the entrance of the Wild Area. Ash, Roan, Chloe and Prof. Cerise got out of the car.
"There you go," Prof. Cerise said, handing Chloe her bag.
"I'm nervous, though," Chloe said.
"I get that, but I know you're going to be a great Pokémon trainer, I've always known that," Prof. Cerise said.
"Thank you dad and I love you," Chloe said.
"I love you too," Prof. Cerise said.
Chloe gave her father a hug. Professor Cerise got back into his car and drove away. Ash, Roan and Chloe walked into the Wild Area and now began the journey with the three of them together with their Pokémon.
Somewhere else. Team Rocket was somewhere in a part of the forest and ran into an old acquaintance.
"No, not again," Jessie said.
"It can't be," Meowth said.
"Cramorant!" James shouted.
Cramorant opened its beak, James covered its nose. Cramorant jumped into the air and landed James' head.
"Ah, why do you always have to get me!" James yelled.
But instead of running away or trying to pull Cramorant off, James grabbed a Pokéball from his pocket and tapped it against Cramorant. Cramorant went inside the Pokéball, the Pokéball shook three times and then the light dimmed. And with that the Cramorant was caught, welcome to Team Rocket, Cramorant.
