Rotten in the City

By Luna Project

DISCLAIMER: Matsuda Junpei belongs to Gosho Aoyama.

I only own the poem.

I wrote this poem after I read Meitantei Conan vol.36. I was impressed by the scenes with Matsuda in them—it's as if I was watching action movies. They reminded me of action films somehow.

Rotten in the City

The message is here in my hands

It goes unsent and it won't be sent

The traffic lights are blinding

And we're all jammed inside

So what's the point in friends?

They won't pay your apartment rent

The city's life is moving

And truth is crammed with lies

When terror strikes its band

I guess I'm down and bent

So what's the point in careful plans?

They won't elongate your life span

The danger is nerve-racking

It ruined me before and it's doing so again

The wheel is spinning

And I know I'm trapped in this fight

So what's the point in sense?

It won't help you that much…

..If you're already spent.

A/N: Who's "rotten in the city"? It's, imho, how Matsuda saw himself. I think he felt he didn't belong to the division (Megure's) and he was sharply pierced by the death of that man—Hagiwara.

Please review! I want to know what people think of this.

Thanks a bunch to:
