How to Cure an Alchoholic (or Never ask Ollie for Help)
By Neemers
J'onn was talking to Ollie on the rooftops while glumly staring at a bar. He had a problem he knew he couldn't solve and Ollie had gamely offered to listen.
"...isn't such a bad guy, I know he could kick his alchohol problem and all, but he won't even ackowledge that he has a problem." J'onn finished.
Ollie said, "Looks to me like the barkeep is the only sober one in there, and I could get him stuck in the back room for a few minutes. I know how you can make him see he's got a problem, at least. All you have to do is..."
"I feel ridiculous in this form." J'onn protested.
"Do you want to help him or not? Now just go in there and remember to stay intangible."
Ollie tried to shove J'onn in, but J'onn had already phased. Still incredibly unsure of this, J'onn quietly walked through the wall into the bar. Within seconds he noticed every person in the bar carefully not noticing him. A few of those closest to him swung their legs at him to see whether or not he was solid.
A moment later half the people in the bar were pouring out or leaving their drinks and muttering something about going to get some help. J'onn was still puzzled. Why would the men decide to sober up just because he showed up as a strangely-colored pachyderm? ______________________________________________________
