The Phoenix:His hair is like a phoenix's feathers
Eyes that reflect the sea
Twin scars adorn his cheeks
Now nothing more than a memory
Of what happened oh so long ago
A terrible reminder of the thing he loathes
That man, no beast, who ruined his life,
If a life is what you could call it
More like an existence forced upon a weary soul
Perhaps what that man did
Was a blessing in disguise
For now he wishes to live
If only for revenge, then so be it
Eyes full of mako
They glow in the dark
A gift or curse from the mad
A demon in human guise
Who calls himself Hojo
Blessed with inhuman speed
Cursed with the crimes it allows him to commit
You drink away your sorrow
And disguise yourself as a clown
A joker with no bounds
But are you truly that uncaring?
Could anyone truly be quite so forlorn
To be able to slit someone's throat
While laughing all the while?
To have created this clever guile
Could anyone melt that frozen heart?
