"Ah hahahaha!" Bakugo cackles as the 2 walk toward UA
"Kachan!" Izuku whines "Please be serious, I was worried she was going to kill me right there in the back of her limo, you have no idea how much I cried on the way home"
"I'm sorry Izu" Yubel apologizes as she rests her chin on his fluffy head "I overreacted a little when that bastard hurt you"
"Relax Oni" Bakugo grunts "We all reacted badly when Deku took a nosedive, just cause you used Ponytail's mouth to give orders doesn't mean you did anything too badly"
"Anyway, after blubbering an apology, crying then apologizing again because I was worried I'd ruined the seats of her limo with my waterworks…" at this Bakugo and both spirits roll their eyes, familiar with the Midoriya waterworks mother and son frequently exhibit "... she actually helped to calm me down, as well as the fact that, Yubel's emotions were practically flowing from her like a waterfall, so she understood why she was so insistent on checking over me physically as well as with her own eyes… she'd have just preferred if you'd asked first before body jumping" he says half-jokingly, as even Momo seemed to know or at least assume that Yubel wouldn't have been able to ask until she'd already entered Miss Yaoyarosu's body.
"I'll keep that in mind Izu-kun" Yubel sighs, nuzzling Izuku's head while pouting, least of all because she'd seen something in the girls' soul… something painfully familiar but also just out of reach to the Demoness.
1A Homeroom
"Midoriya!" Uraraka screams as he steps into the room, nearly bowling him over with a tackle-hug "You're ok!"
"It is good to see you've recovered adequately, but given everything that happened, are you still considered part of 1A? Iida asks, not maliciously, but with genuine curiosity given the threat their Teacher made before the tests
"Midoriya is still part of this class" Aizawa says, after popping up from behind his desk "He has made a full recovery after the accident yesterday, which speaks wonders for his potential as a hero. This isn't a free pass, if he slacks off or proves me wrong about his heroic potential he's out the door, same as any of the rest of you" the Underground Hero finishes with a scowl, Jinzo facepalms in his spectral form behind the man, while Only Izuku's prescience stopped Yubel leaping at the man and throttling him for being such an insensitive bastard
With that over Aizawa made no more mention of it and the young hero trainees realized that UA, was a lot more similar to any other high school, just with Pro Heros as teachers, such as Midnight for Art, Present Mic for English, Ectoplasm for Maths etc. However, there was one difference between them and the Gen Ed students… Foundational Heroic's class, which in this case was at the end of their day
"The timetable had the teacher blank, was it a late entry?" One asked
"UA wouldn't be so sloppy as to leave a position as important as Foundational Heroics empty!" Iida aggressively defends
"Maybe it's a rotational set, with a series of guest speakers" Momo suggests, the answer though was right around the corner…..
"I AM COMING INTO THE ROOM LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" All Might announces as he throws open the door and enters the room
"No you're not" Electrum sighs, which causes Izuku's lip to twitch and Yubel to laugh, while everyone else pitches a fit because ALL MIGHT IS THEIR TEACHER
"Good afternoon Class 1A I don't need to introduce myself, but I will say that I will be your Heroics teacher for this year. Now today we're going to start with a fun one…" he flips over a card on the table, which reads BATTLE, and shows it to the class "...Combat training!"
Most of the class cheered, Bakugo, Kirishima and surprisingly Uraraka being the loudest, everyone eager to show off their quirks in a fight as well as experience what most heroes besides Rescue specialists like 13 and the Pussycats were best known for: Fighting Villains
"Now we can't have you fighting each other in your school uniforms now can we? So…" he pushes a button and numbered suitcases popped out of the walls "...we had your costume designs built by Support partners all over, such as Deternet, KaibaCorp, and Kamino. Now you'll look like heroes, as you learn to become one. Now, get suited up and meet me at Training Ground Beta, clearly labeled on the map you were given yesterday along with your schedule"
Training Ground Beta
[Unless mentioned otherwise… Everyone but Izuku currently has their canon outfits. Changes will occur later due to spirit shenanigans and simply learning how best to accommodate their quirks and skills with their gear]
Midoriya's own costume was a forest green armored bodysuit with gold accents and sturdy red steel-capped boots, then there was the headset and visor (1) with a retractable mouth plate/gasmask. He also wore armored greaves, the left one much larger and bulkier than the right. Finally, there was the pitch-black Unicursal hexagram he was more or less forced to add to the back of his costume, magical resonance/synergy, and all that, hopefully, it helps him control both his main quirk's power and One For All.
"It's true what they say, the clothes do make the man because I feel like I'm standing in a room full of heroes!" All Might booms with a laugh
"Awesome look Midori" Uraraka coos "Simple but practical. Shame I wasn't more specific about my design though. I mean it's not bad but I was looking for more of a poofy, 13 look, like a real spacesuit, this is a lot more…skintight"
Izuku nods as he looks over Uraraka's costume, the female spirits having used their original costume designs to tease him growing up, coming in handy to stop him from getting flustered "I see where you're coming from Uraraka, but I think the Support department went a different direction, most likely going for streamlining and skintight in case you Zero-G yourself and need maneuverability. Sure there's also the sex appeal angle, but I hold out hope that's the hero's decision to lend into, not something decided for them by their costume designers"
"Like Midnight" Yubel supplies with a nod of agreement
"Huh, that makes sense Midori, I mean they kept the heels I put in my design so they did try to accommodate what I asked for for my quirk" Uraraka nods, just before All Might calls them all together to begin the exercise.
"Sir, this is the fake city from the Entrance exam, will we be fighting robots again?" Iida asks, getting looks of confusion from Todoroki and Yaoyarosu
"Not today young Iida, instead I'll be jumping us a few lessons ahead. Now I'm sure most Hero fights you know of take place on the main streets, where everyone can see them, but, statistically speaking the worst and most dangerous of encounters actually take place indoors, and out of sight of the public. Black market deals, secret lairs, clandestine meetings, the most cunning and savvy villains hide in the shadows. And this, is what we'll be exploring today. You'll be split into pairs and then participate in 2 on 2 battles of Heroes and Villains."
"Isn't this a little advanced, and dangerous for our 2nd day?" Tsuyu asks, being the voice of reason, simply due to how direct and blunt she is
"The best combat training isn't learned in a classroom but on the battlefield, and there's also the important factor that you're not punching a robot like the exam, but another person"
"Sir, will you be determining the victor, and if so how?"
"How badly are we allowed to hurt the other player?"
"Are we going to get expelled if we lose?"
"Doesn't my cape look très magnifique?"
"Calm down, I don't also have superhearing. Now, the exercise is as such…" All Might announces, pulling a script from a hidden pocket "The Villains have hidden a Nuclear Device somewhere within their hideout, the heroes need to locate and disarm the Bomb, or capture the villains, meanwhile, the Villains need to capture the Heroes, or keep them occupied long enough for the Payload to detonate. Also, teams will be decided by drawing lots. So everyone come up and take a babble" he adds, setting down a box labeled 'Lots' in front of the teens
"Isn't this a little archaic, there must be a better way than random chance"
"Well, besides actual Hero Teams like the Pussycats, Pros sometimes have to work alongside whoever is nearby if assistance is required, so it's training us to work with people we may not know how to do so with, also helps it's only the 2nd day so we really don't know that much about each other, or even our quirks besides what we saw during Aizawa Sensei's test" Izuku responds, getting a nod of understanding from the human-robot and a smile from All Might before he steps up and retrieves his Lot, the results being

"The 1st match shall be….Team A Vs Team D. A are the heroes, leaving D as the villains for this exercise. Please enter the building and secure the device, or prepare yourselves outside. Everyone else, come with me to the Monitoring rooms to observe the Exercise" All Might announces, then leads the other students away like baby ducks
"So it's us against Bakugo, any advice?" Uraraka asks, then goes quiet as Izuku adjusts the left greave of his armor, hissing as it clicks and a curved protrusion ejects from the lower side… he was wearing a duel disk "Whoa!"
"Thanks, I may not need a device to use my quirk, but doing so makes things easier to keep track" he explains, slotting a deck into a compartment of the main device "...plus while a little uncomfortable to activate, the life point counter also functions as a way to monitor my actual health" he points to the screen, which read 8000, with a steady heartbeat under it
Inside the building
"Bakugo, you and Midoriya are old friends, yes?" the blond looks up from adjusting his gauntlets to give the walking tin can a look that best describes as 'Yeah, and?' "Do you have a plan to win this exercise against him?"
Bakugo sighs "2 plans, I'll tell you Plan B first because I REALLY don't want to win that way: We run down the clock, keep them distracted and busy until the timer runs out. Plan A is we beat them, I'll handle Deku and you deal with Round Face, then either capture or hold her off until I deal with him and can back you up. This is moot though if his summons can win the game for them…"
"Attention Students, the hero student must touch the bomb themself in order to win the round. Apologies Young Midoriya, Tokoyami, and Minoru, as this mostly applies to you 3" All Might's voice booms through their earpieces.
"Ok, good news, but still keep an eye out for his monsters, even if they can't win the game for them they can be used to distract us or give them an opening to get the bomb"
Outside
"Heroes, you may enter!"
Izuku had just entered the building, mentally running a gameplan through his head when he felt Uraraka jump onto his back, feeling every curve through the skintight costume
"Hello Izu-kun" Ochako purrs, grinning widely as golden eyes peered into his tinted visor
Izuku sighs "Fraulein. Please release Uraraka, and get off my back"
Ochako's fangs flash as her grin becomes a pout "Do I have to?"
"Yes, we need to win this match, my opponent is Ka-chan"
The spirit-possessed girl perks up at that "Boom boom boy? Ok Izu, go kick his ass!" she coos, unlatching herself and releasing her hold on Uraraka, to Izuku it looked like she'd just stepped out of the other girl's body
Monitoring Room
Toshinori chuckles, his Successor was a strange one, but he couldn't ask for a better future Hero.
"Um, All Might Sensei, what's Fraulein mean?"
All Might turns his head from the monitor "Please give context Young Kaminari, where did this question come from?"
"Midoriya, after sighing like Aizawa Sensei said it, well I think he did, based on lip-reading" Denki answers
"A useful skill to have young man, and while I don't know the meaning, based on the way Young Midoriya said it, on my experience, it sounds European"
"It's German All Might sensei, the accent gives it away" Aoyama pipes in "I believe it's a term of address but aren't fully sure"
"Aoyama is correct, it's essentially the German for 'Miss' meaning a typically young, unmarried woman" Momo supplies "So while I can't explain the 'done with life' sigh, he could technically refer to Uraraka as a Fraulein, or any of his female classmates to be honest"
"Too bad Bakugo's his opponent, they're friends so could tell us why Midori's randomly speaking German" Mina says with a pout
With the 'heroes'
"So Midori, you haven't explained the plan yet" Uraraka hums as they walk along the ground floor
"True, one second"
Kuriboh
His eyes glow and so do the tiny fiend, then it nods and hops away into the shadows
"Kuriboh is going to help scout ahead for the bomb. Meanwhile, because Kachan will be gunning for me, you will have to find the bomb. Tag it if you can, or wait for me to back you up if you can't. Actually, on that front…" Uraraka watches a card get greyed out before another moves to the 'play area' of the duel disk, shimmering before the spirit appeared behind her
The Tricky
"An oldie but a goodie, he should be able to keep Iida off you for at least a little while"
"Great Plan Midori!"
Twin Shield Defender
BOOM
"Midoriya!"
"You're getting really good at summoning shields Deku" Bakugo chuckles as Izuku's right shield disintegrates, the left one, also covering his duel disk remained intact though
"What can I say, they're pretty blast-resistant" he winks "Uraraka, Tricky go! I'll handle Ka-chan" he calls back as Bakugo lunges at him, Izuku catching the arm and throwing him over his shoulder, with more force than expected
"Bastard" the blond bomber hisses "Pulling out the equips already?"
Izuku shrugs "What can I say, you always start with the right hook, and this suits my aesthetic don't you think?" he asks Black Pendant bouncing as he dodges Bakugo's next blast
"It's dumb and girlie, now fight me Deku!" Blasty shouts
"You asked for it, Tag Team mode" Izuku responds, 2 cards flashing as he does
Hero Kid
Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy
"Now it's a party!" the young Fiend cackles as he leaps forward, while his Hero counterpart and Izuku follow shortly behind. Meanwhile, Bakugo's grin matched Prodigy's, hopefully, this would be a fun match for them all.
Upstairs
"Now if I were Iida or Bakugo, where would I put the bomb?" Uraraka mutters to herself as she searches the upper floors, Tricky hovering behind her in case Bakugo manages to deal with, or even just decides to break away from Izuku and stop them from locating the objective
"Kuri"
"Oh. Hey little guy, did you find it?" she gasps, then whispers, the furball gives an eye smile and bounces, before hopping down the corridor, which student and spellcaster took to mean 'Follow'
'Huh, that was easy' Uraraka thinks as the trio enter a more open room, where Iida was standing smack bang in the middle with the bomb behind him 'I could sneak over and touch the bomb, maybe have the spirits distract Iida while I do, or maybe we should wait for Midori before mobbing him, his quirk is speedy after all'
"Bakugo does have a villainous side" Iida mutters aloud "and that's exactly what we need to succeed in this mission. Therefore…. For the duration of this exercise, I must devote my thoughts to Evil intent. I won't let the Iida name be besmirched by my lack of dedication to excellence. BEHOLD! I AM THE PERSONIFICATION OF VILLAINY!"
Ochako tried to hold it in, she really did, but it was just so silly with him being almost comically serious in his false villainy she couldn't help in…. And in doing so she exposed her position
"Uraraka is that you?"
'Fuck!'
"You are there, I suspected this would be how things broke down once Bakugo headed off to deal with Midoriya, as it was unlikely though not impossible that he'd try to take you both on alone. Luckily I was right and you did come here yourself to foil our plans!" Iida monologues, going full villainous Ham, just because "Your quirk allows you to remove the gravity of everything you touch, so I removed everything from this room you could use as ammo or a weapon, so it's just me and the bomb Do-gooder!"
"Wow, talk about getting into character" Uraraka mutters, then turns to both monsters "We ready? Ok, attack!" she shouts, then clicks on her earpiece as the 2 monsters take 1st shot, missing the speedster as well as seeing his other plan, of moving the device whenever Ochako gets too close.
"Midori, I've found the bomb and Kuriboh, but Iida spotted us and is too fast for us to catch"
"Copy that, just avoid getting caught by him and I'll be with you soon" Izuku relays as IP crashes into him and Bakugo manages to grab Hero Kid by his visor.
"And stay down!" Bakugo scowls as he unleashes his quirk, the sound of monster destruction hidden by the explosion, but Izuku still saw the glow fade from his card before it transfers to the GY.
"Oh, I thought they'd be sturdier than that" Hagakure says, disappointment in her voice given nothing can be gleaned from her invisible body, unaware a similar thought was being held by another of her classmates
'He's nothing special, He's weak like all the others… so why does he have All Might's attention?'
"While true Young Hagakure, there are certain factors to take into account. Both his monsters have low levels and are low-statted summons, so it would be expected for them to be less durable than higher-level monsters, a single blast to the face wouldn't have taken down a Summoned Skull or Utopia after all. You must also take into account Young Bakugo's strength, as well as the fact he has no need to hold back on Midoriya's summons as they can't actually be killed or even injured, plus Hero Kid took a full-force explosion at point-blank range to the face. That attack could have severely injured a normal person" All Might explains
Back inside
"Hell brat, I have an idea" Izuku shouts, the Evil Hero grins as he dodges another explosion, launching himself backward and landing beside the verdette
"What's the plan Boss?"
"I'm going to enhance you" Izuku explains, attempting to let OFA flow through his connection to the spirit, black/purple lightning flickers across the young fiend's body
"Oh, this is good. I bet this is what Limiter Removal is for machines Ke shi shi!"
Izuku hums, if that statement was accurate, while not much of an enhancement for a low-point monster like Prodigy, being able to double the stats of any monster with OFA is incredible
"Deku!"
"Missed me! Too slow, so close, not so much" Prodigy taunts as he bounces around the room. Bakugo tries and fails to blast him out of the air "That's enough Defence, how about some Offence!" he shouts, leaping over the explosive boy for an ax kick, the blond blocks the strike but the force still sends him slamming into the wall, as well as destroying Prodigy's manifestation
'Seems that's another similarity to Limiter removal. It's a one-and-done attack-wise. Though if I could use it to enhance my body like he did I might be able to build up a tolerance to the power a lot quicker' Izuku thinks as he bites his lip and makes a hasty retreat while Bakugo regains his bearings, the explosive boy flying after him with the expected subtlety of a rough Bomber. Finally, he manages to corner the Verdette in another of the rooms, grinning maliciously as he hears a light click
"You know what this is?" Bakugo asks, pointing to the dial on his gauntlet, labeled 0-3
"A reference?" Izuku replies/asks, given he'd told Bakugo what his spirit was YEARS ago, and said spirit was in regular communication with the blond bomber
"Technically yes, but it's also both a timer and a gauge for how long I have to wait until my gauntlet has collected enough sweat for my Ultimate attack" he answers with a feral grin, as Izuku realizes both dials, were on 0
'Oh shit!'
"How about we see just how much power those Support nerds could squeeze out of this baby ay Deku?"
"Young Bakugo, that blast could kill him!" All Might shouts into their earpieces
"He'll be fine if he dodges!" Bakugo shouts back, then pulls the pin just under his palm

KABOOM!
"Midori, I could feel the explosion from up here, are you okay?" Ochako asks into her earpiece "Midori?"
"Bakugo Report! Did you manage to subdue the hero?" Iida shouts, trying to maintain character
"Kuri Kuri Kuri"
"Oh my God!"
What the fuck?!"
"I'm gonna be sick"
Hagakure and Mineta actually did vomit, the room a scene of devastation even on the monitors
All Might stood frozen as he looks at the scene in front of him, Young Bakugo's attack had struck Midoriya's center mass, obliterating the young lad's entire torso. His only consolation, weak as it was given his successor was dead, was that, if the audio consisting of No's, swear words, and sniffling, usually associated with someone crying heavily, Young Bakugo hadn't intended to kill or even hurt Young Midoriya, his dismissive "He'll be fine if he dodges" was something close to a statement of fact, he believed Izuku capable of avoiding his attack, so saw no reason to hold back. As much as he hated to think it he understood, he held back a lot less against A and S-rank villains than C and D ranks, plus against HIM, he had no choice but to go 100% for the entire battle, as he knew any less wouldn't have done anything.
Bakugo stood frozen in shock as Midoriya's legs fall to the ground, everything else exploding into a gloopy mess, tears misting his eyes (He'd killed his best friend, Auntie Inko was going to be devastated) so he couldn't even see the residue wasn't red but green. He stood there for a minute or 2, staring without seeing until…
"Kachan!"
…he took a right cross to the face, staggering the blonde bomber turns back to see a now shirtless Izuku, not that it mattered as his body now had the appearance of Lime jello, except his duel disk, which has one card visible
Revival Jam
"Deku!" Bakugo bellows, launching forward, the explosion removes his arm at the shoulder, dropping with a splat before reforming with a flourish
"Sorry Kachan" Izuku gurgles, making a gesture he was unfamiliar with until his arms lock up behind him
Soul Resonance: Manifest
Jigan Bakudon
"Sorry Boss" the time bomb sighs, before detonating, sending Bakugo flying into a spin kick from Izuku, knocking him out
Bakugo is out of commission
"Damn it, I guess I have no choice but to run down the clock with you two" Iida frowns under his helmet, unaware of what happened downstairs but knowing Bakugo was unable to defeat Midoriya he had little chance against both him and Uraraka
"Halt Villain!" Izuku shouts as he enters the room, both students curious why he was shirtless, but that was a question for later, especially Iida who had to dodge as the summoner sent Revival Jam after him, the speedster having no trouble avoiding him, but it required him to split his focus between the slime beast and the heroes
"Uraraka, I think you should go for the bomb while I distract Iida. At the very least we'll keep ourselves between him and the bomb as it seems he can't bob, weave or even turn all that easily with his quirk active" Izuku suggests, getting a nod from the girl, his eyes flash before both Kuriboh and Tricky nod and then follow him as he charges the speedster, once more hoping to overwhelm his opponent with Superior numbers
All the while Uraraka tries her hand at subtlety, sneaking her way over to the bomb… and succeeding
HEROES WIN!
Iida launches a quirk-enhanced kick, just as All Might makes his announcement, splattering Revival Jam all over his armor before the residue evaporates, the other summons demanifesting much more peacefully, while Izuku walks over to his teammate
"Nice work Uraraka!" he cheers "You won us the match!"
"Not without your help Izu" the brunette retorts with a blush
Later in the viewing room
"So, who was the MVP of the first match everyone?" All Might asks as 3 of the students return, Bakugo brought out via medical bots to Recovery Girl
"If not for a 'certain incident'..." most of the class shudder "... I'd say Midoriya, but taking that into account, Iida did his job adequately, keeping Uraraka away from the Objective as well as the summons, only losing due to simply being overwhelmed" Momo explains
"Correct young Yaoyarosu, while I would like to say he could have relaxed a little, sometimes being too uptight and stressing yourself out, can leave you on the backfoot to certain strategies and make counter offenses difficult" All Might adds "But besides that, you did a very good job of your character and objective, victory isn't everything, especially right now where we're still trying to teach you to deal with these kinds of issues"
"Speaking of Issues, Midori and Bakugo's fight"
"Oh come on, You all saw what Bakugo did with his support gear, if Midoriya hadn't used that card…"
"I'd have had a damaged costume and mild to severe burns on my right arm" Izuku finishes, continuing when he sees everyone's confusion "The downside of a monster like Revival Jam, is that it's fragile, Kachan blew my arm off with an attack that would have barely left a burn, the damage you saw, was, put simply, highly exaggerated"
After the 2nd almost death of Midoriya in under a week, the rest of the battles were less intense, but still informative:
Todoroki went for overkill when it was his turn, freezing the entire building in one go and locking down his opponents so he could easily claim victory for his team.
The 'animal team' of Fumi/DarkShadow and Tsuyu actually worked well together, with the goth bird duo drawing most of the attention from Sato and Kirishima, while Tsu slipped past their defenses to claim the bomb and victory for the heroes
While his eyes did linger on Momo's exposed chest more than could be considered polite, Mineta was able to follow his teammates' plan well enough and even assisted using his hairballs, forming a minefield-type defensive spread around the bomb room, as well as one in the path of the doorway and right below the window to stop anyone sneaking in that way (not that it mattered as neither Jiro or Kaminari had the capabilities or skills to climb the building and enter through the windows, but best to cover all the bases
Mina's enthusiasm was proven to be a deficit during her mission, as her splashing acid got on her teammate, ruining his sparkly cape. Luckily they made up enough to take on Sato well enough
It was only after Bakugo had returned to them and they were about to head home that the shock settled fully and something else rose to the surface of Mina's mind "Hey Midori, are we all getting cute nicknames, or is Uraraka special, your little Fraulein?" she asks teasingly, expecting blushes and stuttering, but instead she gets a confused Ochako, facepalming Bakugo and Izuku giving another 'Done with this shit' sigh
"Seriously Deku, she was here of all places?" Bakugo asks, getting a nod from the summoner
"I wasn't talking to Uraraka, I was talking to the spirit hijacking her, Himiko, the Vampire Fraulein"
Tooru gasps "they can do that?"
Izuku nods "Yes, but it requires quite a bit of energy so rarely happens. It's easier for your own spirit as there's already a connection, but that's not what happened here, as Ochako's is Galaxy Cleric"
"Huh, so can you see all our spirit things?" Denki asks
"Only if I concentrate with my quirk, otherwise, it would overwhelm my brain as I'd be seeing double everyone, and not all monster spirits are people size… so mental logistics would be killer" Izuku admits, not seeing the point in mentioning that person's emotional state could help or hinder, like Bakugo's aggressive personality had Jigan popping out all the time, while he wasn't sure what Momo or Todoroki's spirits were
"So, if we wanted to, you could tell us what they were" Tooru wonders aloud, her gloved fingers stroking her chin…. As far as he could tell
"If you wanted. Though it might be best we ask to use a gym, for space reasons. As I said, not all spirits are people size or smaller like Uraraka and Kachan's, or Fraulein"
"Sounds like a job for tomorrow.
