Yo! Another day, another chapter and this time I'm bringing you a long academy story! I was kinda awkward on what to do here but I figured it out and so here we are! hope you enjoy and happy reading.

Chapter 3: The Ninja Academy, What Could Go Wrong?
Naruto had drowned out the sounds of his class paying attention to a few things the hokage didn't tell him about chakra. Albeit it wasn't alot.
Naruto had taken to training in-between classes, aka when it's recess, in various taijutsu ways he observed from different Shinobi.
He still worked on his chakra control but he toned that down a bit because he was sure he was above decent.
After training for a few days he decided to adjust his schedule and train after school instead of during recess. He would try to focus on making friends in that time.
The first day after Naruto adjusted his training time, he had asked around if anyone wanted to be friends with him. He had specifically asked the civilians because he knew most of his class were clan heirs and wouldn't really have the time with the exception of Shikamaru and Choji who were already his friends.
Naruto sighed recalling the most common answer he got.
"My mom said not to hang out with you. She says you're a weirdo" "Mom and Dad said don't talk to you or you'll do something bad to me."
"Get away! Don't hurt me demon!"
He was sulking in he class wondering why the village couldn't just see that he was a boy.
He continued to sulk in the almost empty class with the exception of him and the blue haired girl he sit's next to.
He looked over at her and she was staring up at him and quickly looked away when he looked at her.
He recognized her as the clan heir of the Hyuuga clan.
He didn't think that she would want to be his friend but he figured it was worth a shot.
"Hey! Hinata was your name?" He inquired to her.
She flushed and spoke while looking away.
"Y-yes.. and Y-you're N-Naruto?" She stammered.
"Yeah nice to meet you, would you want to be friends with me?" He asked her
When she didn't respond he frowned "You can say no if you want."
"N-No I-I want t-to be y-your f-friend!" She quickly responded after he said that.
"Really? Cool! We can start hanging out today if you want!" He said to her.
She didn't say anything but she was smiling the blush on her face growing.
After recess they were back in class listening to Iruka's lecture on the history of Konoha when Naruto noticed something odd about Mizuki.
He was staring at him mischievously with a smirk.
Mizuki walked up to Naruto and grabbed him by the collar getting a stare of confusion from Iruka and the rest of the class.
"What's wrong Mizuki-sensei?" Naruto asked.
"You were disturbing Hinata-san here! Get out!" Mizuki shouted
Naruto looked at him confused as Hinata rebutted "H-he wasn't bothering m-me M-Mizuki s-sensei."
"You won't say anything or I'll inform your father that you're causing trouble at school with Naruto over here!" Mizuki looked back at Naruto as Hinata didn't say anything knowing her father wouldn't believe her claims.
Naruto's gaze had shifted from confused to calculating and keen and finally Naruto's face spat 'Big Mistake' in Mizuki's mind.
He threw him out of the class and Naruto was forced to go home as he couldn't enter for the rest of the lecture.
The next day Hinata walked in class to see her crush already in the row they shared.
She walked up and sat down while Naruto was relaxing with a triumphant smile on his face.
She was confused on what made him feel that way but that was answered soon.
Mizuki walked in the class dressed like a clown with his hair dyed purple and shaved through the middle.
Everybody laughed at the sight before them while Mizuki grimaced at Naruto who was whistling not making eye contact.
He couldn't do anything because there was no proof of his doing those things.
"Good morning class- Holy sh-" Iruka entered the class and almost cursed at the startle he got. "What happened to you Mizuki?" He inquired.
"My face and Hair? I woke up like this. And SOMEBODY decided to change my closet with various clown suits.." Mizuki continued to shoot a laser eyed glare at Naruto.
"Well it's nice to see you have a sense of humor.." Iruka trailed off begining hos lecture.
After Iruka had finished a lecture on the third hokage they had gone for recess. Like recently Naruto was the last to exit for no reason.
As he stepped out the class he was grabbed by his front collar by Mizuki.
"You bastard child! How dare you do this to me!" He shouted.
"Why did you take me out of the class yesterday I did nothing and you know it!" Naruto gave Mizuki the same glare he was receiving.
"Hey what's going on here? Mizuki let Naruto down." Iruka intervened after realizing that Mizuki was going to hit Naruto.
"Really Iruka? You know what he is! He did this to me!" Mizuki said putting down the hand he was about to hit Naruto in.
"Mizuki? You really think Naruto a nine year old can break in your house, purchase an abundance of clown suits and hide your current wardrobe? That's unrealistic! Put him down or I'll have to report you to the headmaster.
Mizuki stammered "I-" But quickly stopped as that would ruin his plans.
He let down Naruto slightly but as the blonde was about to touch the ground he raised his foot and kicked Mizuki in the groin as Iruka walked away.
Mizuki crouched over holding the spot he got kicked in and when he looked up he saw Naruto sticking his tongue out.
"Damn demon.." He said walking back into the classroom still crouched over.
Similar events happened over the past 2 months with Naruto getting kicked out and Mizuki getting payed back for it, so Mizuki laid off a bit on that.
He could get payback after his plan was complete.
It was their fourth and final lecture of the day and they were learning more about the forth. To Iruka's surprised Naruto was laying attention as he was mostly focusing on him after the hokage talked with him.
The third had told him to try and help Naruto as not many people had tried.
He was reluctant at first but after getting talked into it by the hokage he agreed.
"The fourth hokage had made and learnt some powerful justu that beat him enemies easily at the time of war-" Iruka was cut off when he noticed Naruto hand go up.
"Do you know of any of his jutsu, Iruka-sensei?" He asked
"Well not really" Iruka began sheepishly. "First off he created the 'rasengan' an A rank jutsu that involved manipulating chakra to spiral in the shape of a sphere.
There's also that he could summon toads, I mean he was the student of The legendary sanin Jiraiya so no surprise there but.
He had a legendary jutsu that allowed him to transport anywhere.
He claimed he didn't create it and nobody knows how it works except him and unfortunately he brought that to the grave with him. But a good measure as if it went into the wrong hands may Kami bless out souls." As Iruka finished the bell rang implying the end of that day at the academy.
Everyone rushed out except a few including Naruto.
As he was walking to go outside of the academy he felt a hand though his right shoulder. When he looked up he was curious to find Iruka smiling at him.
"I see you're interested in the fourth hokage. That's quite a coincidence because you looked just like him." He said to Naruto who was sitting beside him.
They were both at the shore of a lake either staring into the water, into the wilderness, the blue skies above or at each other.
"If only he knew" Naruto thought to himself as he chuckled.
"Would you like to see his home? I'm pretty sure you can visit it." He looked down at the blonde to see a delighted and excited expression on his face.
"Really? Thanks Iruka-sensei!" He expressed his gratitude to the chunin.
"Maybe Lord hokage was right Iruka thought.
After a few minutes the two and arrives at his house and admired the exterior. They were almost sure that the interior looked better.
As Iruka went to open the door he realized the door handle was stuck and sighed "Well Naruto that's all we can see." He said disappointingly hoping to see the interior as well.
"No!" Naruto said and walked up to the door. He grunted as he tried to open the door.
"It can't open Naruto let's go." Iruka motioned for Naruto to come.
That's when Naruto had an idea, in class Iruka mentioned Minato was a seal master, if that's true then he must've sealed his house as well.
He pushed chakra to his right hand as he twisted the knob.
A seal appeared on the knob and both Naruto and Iruka noticed it.
Though Iruka was more astonished at what Naruto had just done. Apparantly these doors hadn't been opened in nine years.
Though there they were opened by a nine year old boy.
"W-Wh. H-How? How did you just do that Naruto?" Iruka asked surprised.
"I don't know." Naruto lied.
Truthfully Naruto didn't really expect it to open either but when it did he was still slightly surprised.
He was just about to walk in when Iruka's hand held his shoulder preventing him from moving.
"No Naruto. If the fourth sealed his house then there must be something in there that he doesn't want people to know. Let's go.
I don't know how you opened the door but lock it. However it works." Iruka pressured Naruto. "Fine.." The blonde responded and closed the door channeling chakra into it one more time so nobody could enter.
Naruto was still planning to go there later, he wanted to see what his father's home looked like.
Three days later.
It was a Saturday so Naruto didn't have school and he thought it was the perfect day to explore the house.
He arrived at the house and quickly made sure that nobody was around him to see him.
He didn't even sense an anbu so it seemed he was safe.
He opened the door and this time entered.
He quickly noticed a portrait of The yondaime hokage and what he thought to be his mother.
She had bright red hair light haired smooth skin a blue eyes.
Naruto couldn't help but smile. Although he didn't know his parents seeing them like that happy made him happy.
He went into what he presumed to be his parents room and saw a drawer open in a bedside table.
He looked in the drawer and found a scroll.
Now he was confused. If everything in the house was locked up why didn't he close this drawer.
His curiosity got the best of him and he opened the scroll.
Another scroll popped out as well as a note.
"Naruto, I don't have much time right now, but if you're reading this, I am dead. Chances are you already know what happened and how I died, If I do die tonight.
The kyuubi is attacking the village and the ninja of the village are fighting them off as a write this. If this goes as planned Me and your mother will be okay and we can take care of you.
If otherwise you will receive this note in the future. I'm sorry for sealing Kyuubi inside of you for I had no other choice. Your mother would be too weak and he would easily escape. And the Kyuubi chakra is too heavy for me to seal he whole thing.
As a result Half of the Kyuubi is inside of you. In the circumstance that you want to become a ninja, I left some jutsu you can learn in the scroll that came with this note. Have Kakashi or Hiruzen teach you something. Also make sure you don't follow Jiraiya's ways. Remember, I love you." Naruto wiped a tear from his eye.
After reading the note his father left for him he was even more motivated to become the greatest ninja he could be.
After leaving the room he left the house closed he door and locked it with the seal.
He shoved the scroll into one of his pouches, an empty one, and ran quickly to the hokage tower.
He opened his door and Hiruzen smiled when he saw the small blonde in front of him.
"Naruto! What's wrong?" He inquired
"Nothing, I just wanted to ask if you can teach me some jutsu." Naruto said digging through his pouch.
"I told you Naruto I'm not going to teach you any justu ye-" The hokage's mouth stoped talking when he saw the scroll Naruto was holding up.
It had Minato's clan icon on it
"Where did you get this Naruto?" Hiruzen asked concerned.
"Um, well I found dad's house and I found it in a drawer." Naruto replied nervous if he got in trouble.
"You locked the door right? With the seal on it?" Hiruzen questioned Naruto.
"Y-yes." He replied even more nervous because the hokage had now gotten up.
"Phew, Well fine, since it's your birth right. I'll teach you in our session today. But promise me! You'll never use this jutsu on an ally!" Hiruzen pressured.
"Okay, Old man!" Naruto answered.
"Okay good, here you go" The hokage said handing back Naruto the scroll.
"By the way, Who's Kakashi?" Naruto asked before exiting the room.
"You don't know who Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan is? I could've sworn that's in your curriculum with famous ninja.." Hiruzen said whispering the last part.
"I heard Iruka sensei call his name once but when he was about to talk about him Mizuki-sensei threw me out of the class" Naruto scorned.
"So that's what's up with Mizuki's complaints. I'll have to look into that" Hiruzen thought stroking his beard.
"Alright Naruto your dismissed." Hiruzen said.
"Okay bye old man, I'm gonna get some ramen!" Naruto said
Hiruzen relaxed for a while before sighing.
"Things arent going to get easier with you Naruto." Hiruzen puffed his smoke recalling a meeting he had over two months ago.
2 months ago
Danzo Shimura entered The hokage's office. "You called me Hokage-sama?"
He had black hair a can he used for walking with a long black robe. He had wrinkles all over his face and bandages on his right eye and right arm.
"Yes Danzo, Let me get straight to the point. Stop going after Naruto or I'll force you to stop your root program for good.
Danzo flinched. He didn't know that Hiruzen knew. "What are you talking. Root was shutdown years ago by your orders because of that same reason."
"Don't take me for a fool Danzo, I know you didnt stop it and you ddint give up trying to kidnap Naruto either." Hiruzen said.
Danzo's teeth clenched. "You're still a fool Hiruzen, no matter what you can see through.
He is meant to serve this village as a weap-" Danzo stopped as Hiruzen lifted up his arm signalling him to stop talking.
"You will not touch Naruto, and root is okay. Understood?" Hiruzen said letting out a terrifying ammount of Killer intent.

Hiruzen wrote a letter and signalled for one of the Anbu to come.
He gave the Anbu the letter and said anbu nodded and disappeared.
After leaving Ichiraku's ramen stand Naruto was feeling excited. He was simply too impatient to wait on tomorrow.
He found a clearing in a training area and opened the scroll.
"Alright heres the first one.. Ra..sen..gan??" Naruto said.
A figure was approching the clearing reading an orange book when he heard the voice of someone.
He lowered his book and saw a Naruto struggling to create a Rasengan.
He knew the technique, after all his mentor creates it.
Naruto noticed that he wasnt alone and quickly hid tge scroll behind his back.
"Yo!" the figure said to Naruto. He had grey hair that seemed to not care about gravity a mask that covered his mouth and his ninja headband hung over his keft eye. He also had a dark blue spandex suit covering from his neck to the top of his foot, blue ninja sandals and a vest on him.
"Hi? Who are you? Wait i recognize your chakra!" Naruto exclaimed.
The grey haired jonin was certainly suprised. It had been years since he guarded Naruto and he still remembered his chakra.
"Oh so you remember me?" He asked
"How can I not! You saved me when I tried to.. y'know!" Naruto said.
"Yeah that's me." He responded.
"What are you doing here anyway?" Naruto inquired
"Just visiting a friend." He responded nonchalantly.
Naruto shifted his head in multiple directions "But there's nobody around."
The jonin pointed to a stone at the corner of the clearing.
"Oh sorry.." Naruto said realizing that it was a grave.
"It's alright, what are you doing here anyway?" He asked back.
"Oh! Uh! Nothing!" Naruto said sheepishly.
The jonin disappeared and appeared behind Naruto he grabbed the scroll and held Naruto who was trying to get back the scroll from him.
the jonin turned his head to read the scroll "Wait this is.!"
"Okay how'd you get your hands on the sensei's jutsu!" He made an angry face with his single eye (like how do you do that tf?)
"Sensei..? Oh you must be Kakashi! You knew my dad right?"
Kakashi blinked. He knew that Naruto knew who his parents were but never knew that he knew who he was.
"Huh, that's a surprise. Anyways sure, I'll help you." He said with an eye smile. (HOW)
"So you're trying to learn the Rasengan? Let me first show you how it will look like." Kakashi held out his hand and a spinning ball of chakra emerged.
Naruto was amazed. "Wait can I use it for pranks?" Because Naruto wasn't sure how the jutsu worked he assumed that he could harmlessly prank people with it.
"WHAT!? NO! This is a very dangerous jutsu. Observe." Kakashi spoke ramming it into a tree.
Naruto paled when he saw the remains of the tree that were only leaves and imagined what would happen if he had actually used it for pranks.
"That's why it's an A-rank jutsu." Kakashi said putting his hands in his pockets.
"Here." he pulled out a water balloon and gave it to Naruto "Use your wind chakra to make the water spiral in the balloon, once it bursts try that three more times and we'll move on to the next step.
Naruto had mastered that easily thanks to his chakra control training.
"The next step is the same thing but instead of a hollow shape this rubber ball has no air or water in it. Try this and we'll move on." Kakashi handed it to him after demonstrating.
Naruto grabbed the ball out of Kakashi's hand and did what he did before.
The rubber ball was moving around but it wasn't popping.
Naruto tried for 30 seconds before getting frustrated. This was harder than he thought.
His frustration caused the ball to explode but not in the right way.
Kakashi rubbed his chin before thinking.
"You know the water walking exercise right?" Kakashi continued after getting a nod from Naruto. "Alright. Once the ball starts moving use your experience from the water walking exercise to release a steady amount of it spiraling around so it will pop."
Kakashi's words worked as not a minute later Naruto had mastered that step as well.
"Alright. Third and final step, the actual jutsu. Remember, channel the chakra to your hands and steady it so it will spiral." Kakashi instructed.
Naruto did as told and had his chakra spiraling around his hand. But there was a problem. It couldn't keep a shape.
Kakashi spoke again noticing this. "When you steady your chakra try to make it into a ball.
"Got it!" Naruto said and the chakra in his hand bent and bent until it was spiraling into a ball like shape. It was still imperfect but decent nonetheless.
"Great you did it!" Kakashi said giving him and eye smile and a thumbs up. "The sphere shape is imperfect but not bad for a first try. You still need to master it though. Let's continue."
After an hour of practicing the Rasengan, 12 attempts turned into perfection.
Naruto was standing Infront of a tree Kakashi behind him and observing.
The blonde sighed and help up his hand. Chakra formed spinning in a ball like shape.
He charged the ball into the tree and for a second it looked like nothing happened. The next second the tree was blown into about a thousand splinters blowing away from the two.
Kakashi was stunned to say the least, It had taken Minato three years to develop the technique and 5 months to master it.
Not even him, Kakashi of the Sharingan had learned to master the Rasengan and here was Naruto, learning and mastering the Rasengan in a day.
"You really are sensei's kid." Kakashi said messing up Naruto's hair.
"Can we learn the other jutsu now?" Naruto asked.
Kakashi's surprise now showed on his face.
"Are you sure? An A-rank technique can be draining, even if you've mastered it." Kakashi replied with a question.
"That felt like nothing!" Naruto explained.
"He didn't even use the Kyuubi's chakra! He must have amazing reserves." Kakashi reasoned.
"The Flying Thunder God Jutsu" Kakashi froze when he heard that name.
He was actually going to give Naruto that jutsu? It could be useful for him but he had to give Naruto a term.
"Naruto, if I help you learn this jutsu. You have to promise me you'll never tell anybody about this unless you're sure their trust worthy. Like hokage-sama." Kakashi said with a serious face.
"O-okay Kakashi-san" Naruto was nervous about his sincerity.
"Okay! Let's get on with it!" He got back into his regular mood making Naruto swear drop.
A year and a half had passed since Nauto first started the academy. A bit better.
His friend's, Shikamaru, Choji, Hinata, Ino Yamanaka, Sakura Haruno and occasionally Kiba Inuzuka were getting along swell with him.
Shikamaru and Choji had been his longest friends and after they started Hanging out with Ino Yamanaka the two blondes became friends aswell.
Noticably both of them were loudmouths atleast in Shikamaru's eyes.
Ino had introduced Sakura to him and alrhough they had a rough start with him asking her on a date, getting a punch to the head from Sakura, they eventually became friends.
Hinata and Naruto sat Beside each other and would talk most of the day and Kiba and Naruto were rivals in the class you could say.
Naruto was haooy with his social status. He had expected all the clan heads to shun him and instruct their kids to stay away from him the most but the few times he met them they were bice to him with the exception of Hinata's father, Hiashi Hyuuga.
He had once found them hanging out in the village and separated them quickly after giving Naruto a cold stare. He shrugged it off as one tough shell.
There was also Sakura's civilian parents noticably her mother who picked up Sakura one day and found her playing eith the friend group and scolded Sakura for being remotely close to Naruto.
Naruto was also doing a bit below decent in their class.
He was sure there were some sabotages with his academics but had no proof of it and let it go.
He was forced out of his thoughts when iruka entered the room.
"Alright everyone. Meet me outside today. Were doing a taijutsu exam." He said before shunshinning away.
The class got up and went to exit the class. They went outside to the field where Iruka was standing.
"Okay everyone here are the rules. This is a taijutsu only battle, you can use weapons but the academy's weapons only! You can injure your opponent just make sure its not brutal nor fatal. You cannot use ninjutsu or genjutsu. If you fall out of the field, forfit or get knocked unconscious you lose. Anyways lets start. First round Random Nobody v.s. Random Nobody. Begin!" Iruka signaled.
After a few rounds Naruto got more and more exited for him match. Shikamaru fought a random nobody and won by dodging and exhausted the enemy. Kiba fought Shino Aburame who sucked at taijutsu and forfeit after realizing that.
Choji fought a random nobody and won easily thanks to his tajitsu superiority.
Hinata fought another random nobody and won thanks to her gentle fist style.
And Sakura and Ino fought in the most boring fight resulting in both if them getting knocked out.
"Okay. The next and final match is, Sasuke Uchiha vs Naruto Uzumaki." Iruka said
There was a huge cheer from Sasuke's fangirls as both boys stood to from across each other.
"Begin!" Both boys heard before charging at each other.
Sasuke and Naruto threw puches and kicks at each other but were each eithe blocked or dodged. Naruto jumped back and went in for a roundhouse kick which was blocked by Sasuke and countered when Sasuke threw Naruto.
Naruto landed on his feet almost dropping out the ring and threw three kunai at Sasuke rushing in again.
Sasuke threw a shuriken which curved and broke all three kunai ask Naruto was given severely used equipment.
Then he saw Naruto and blocked the incoming kick at him. Naruto went in for a punch that connected with Sasuke's face sending him backwards.
Everyone in the crowd gasped as Sasuke got up and charged again.
The fight went on for a while wuth Sasuke and Naruto both landing, blocking and dodging hits from each other.
Sasuke clenched his teeth. He was getting frustrates that Naruto was remotley on his level.
Sasuke jumped back and to everyone's surprise he went through hand signs.
He ended on tiger and blew an enormous fire ball at Naruto.
In Naruto's perspective time seemed to slow down for him.
The truth was he was holding back on his speed he couldve easily thrown Sasuke out of the ring but didn't want to seem suspicious. But he threw all of that away.
Behind him were his fellow peirs and he them getting injured.
He stormed through four hand seals ending on rat which would've been less that a second for people who couldnt match up to his speed.
"Water style: Water bomb jutsu" he shouted in his mind before spitting out a stream of water to counter the fire ball heading towards him.
The water hit the fire and dispersed the flames.
Sasuke was stunned at the speed displayed by Naruto but snapped our of it and charged Naruto once more.
But Iruka was having none of it. "You are borh disqualified!" He said holding Sasuke's collar.
"But Iruka-sensei thats not fair. Naruto only did it to stop the fire ball." Choji said.
"Yeah Sasuke what the hell! You knew that was against the rules! It's only a friendly match!" Naruto scolded Sasuke
"Whatever just stop getting in my way loser." Sasuke turned to walk away.
He didnt show it but he was mad.
He knew he lost that fight and if he couldnt beat Naruto then he couldnt beat Itachi.
He punched a wall on his way to his classroom. When he arrives he went to his primary seat next to the window and began to sulk.
When Naruto and the rest of the class entered you could feel the tenseness in the room.
Sasuke was giving a cold hard glare at Naruto and Naruto matched Sasuke's glare.
Everyone observed them for five seconds before the rom's temperature went back to normal as Sasuke looked back out the window.
Naruto had unknowingly made a rival.
And that's where I'm ending it. This was a good chapter in my eyes and I hope so in yours as well. It was also a quick interval
in-between chapters. Three days wow!! And its even longer than the last. Hopefully i can keep that up but it was the weekend so shrug. Anwyas thats all.
