A/N: Thank you for the review on chapter 1! To answer your question, I am not sure of the plot yet. I am going chapter by chapter writing what I feel at the time. It will hopefully flow and make sense, but please bear with me as I am not very good at this! I am just writing because it makes me happy to keep these characters alive. Please review, and as always thanks for reading. Any suggestions or prompts would be appreciated, I would love to incorporate what you want to see happen to these two! G x

Chapter 2:

A familiar and uncomfortable feeling woke Ann around 6:30 the next morning. She quietly made her way to the en suite making sure not to wake her husband. He had been working so hard the past few weeks and she didn't want to stress him out any more; she knew this was normal given her current situation, but he'd only worry. As she stumbled sleepily back into the bedroom she heard little footsteps and a knock at her bedroom door. "Ammaaamm" Liv yawned sleepily and quietly from behind the door. Ann smiled and opened the door to find the little one clutching her bunny and rubbing her eyes. "Hey sweetheart," Ann greeted gently, picking her up and letting her snuggle into her shoulder. Olivia played with Ann's hair, twirling it between her fingers as she settled with her.

"Shall we go downstairs and wait for mummy to wake up?" Liv nodded and lifted her head to look Ann directly in the eye, "Mm num toast," she said matter-of-factly, and Ann couldn't help but smile. "Toast it is then little lady." Ann made toast for Liv and a pot of fruit tea for herself. Normally she lived for coffee in the morning, but lately even the thought of caffeine was making her nauseous. After breakfast they went into the den and put on kids TV. Liv seemed mesmerised by the children's channels she didn't have back home. Liv positioned herself next to Ann and rested for a while, then crawled on her lap, so she was facing Ann. Liv started to hiccup, which Ann laughed at, making the little one laugh too. Ann secured Liv from falling off her lap due to laughing, when she noticed Liv's hands resting on her tummy.

"Amm-am" Liv started to say between hiccups. "Yes?" she replied gently. "Ammam ba-by," Liv said looking at her tummy, then up at the older woman. Ann looked at her, completely baffled, before shaking her head and softening her expression to hide her surprise. "Oh, sweetheart, no, that's Ammam's toast!" she said, tickling her. Liv remained set on her ideas though, pointing to Ann's tummy again. "Amm-am Baby." Ann just smiled this time, stroking Liv's curly hair and turning the toddler round, putting her next to her so she could finish watching the show. Ann sat stunned for a minute or two, before she heard Georgia enter the den.

"You're so sweet for taking her, you should have woken me, I hope it wasn't too early." Georgia said apologetically, sitting down next to her daughter and running her fingers through her hair. "I'm so sorry, it's the early night that's thrown her routine a bit I think," Georgia continued. "Don't be silly," Ann replied, shaking her head and stroking Georgia's arm. "She is no trouble at all, she just wanted toast," Ann giggled. "I was more than happy to oblige. I was genuinely up anyway. That's being a rancher's wife for you, up with the cows me. And I know jet lag is no fun, especially for little ones." Ann assured, looking down at Liv who had fallen back asleep now. "I will go and wake Bobby though, he would sleep til noon if he could!" Georgia let out a small chuckle. "Make yourself anything you like and take it easy, we don't rush around here. That's why I like it." Ann finished, smiling at the younger woman and getting up to go and find her husband.

When Ann returned to the bedroom, Bobby stopped scrolling through his phone and sat up to greet her. "You were up early this morning hun," he said as she climbed into bed next to him. He embraced his wife and kissed her hair. "Mmm, well, a certain 2 year old wanted Ammam to make toast," Ann said, and Bobby chuckled softly. "It wasn't so early, about 6:30. I was up anyway with one thing and another," she said. Just then he looked at her quizzically with a raised eyebrow. She smirked and said, "you worry too much, it's okay. Just morning sickness, it's normal."

Bobby pulled her close and kissed her on the lips tenderly. "I am never going to stop worrying about you." Ann stroked his hair and closed her eyes, kissing him again. "Right now, I am fine, I promise. I would tell you if I wasn't. Besides, I'm a rancher's wife, I'm used to earlier mornings than this!" "If you say so," Bobby relinquished. "I do," Ann said, getting up and giving him his dressing gown. Bobby stood up and Ann circled her hands round his waist. "What I do worry about, Bobby, is whether I have the strength for this. Will my body give up on me. Wanting to do something, doesn't always translate as being good at it -" Bobby cut her off. "Hey," he began. "That little girl dotes on you, you don't even have to try. That's evidence enough that you can do this. WE can do this, you might just have to give me a kick up the backside in the morning," he winked. She nudged him playfully. "That's how we got here!" they broke out into laughter, then fell back onto the bed and kissed with fervour.

"Bobby. Ammam? Ammmamamm!" they heard from downstairs. This was quickly followed by Georgia saying, "Olivia, sshh, they'll be down in a minute poppet." Ann laughed. "Get used to being interrupted," Ann winked, getting up and disappearing into the closet.

"Oh, I forgot to say," Ann began as she came out of the closet wearing a red long sleeve and black jeans. "I think Olivia knows." she said, leaving Bobby puzzled. "Knows what?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, pulling on some slacks and an olive green jumper. Ann put her slippers on, moved his hands to her stomach and looked him in the eye. "I'm not kidding, she sat with me earlier, pointed to my tummy and said, "Ammam baby. She looked me straight in the eye and told me. I asked her to repeat it as I didn't believe her. I played it off but it took me by surprise!" she admitted.

Bobby smiled, rubbing her stomach. "Emma doesn't know, does she, so she couldn't have told Georgia… so then how would Liv know?" he asked, then Ann shook her head. "No, as far as I'm aware Emma hasn't picked up on anything." Ann confirmed. "But Liv is 2, adorably cute and into everything," she chuckled softly, "so you never know what she's heard." Bobby smirked in agreement and took her hand, before going to join the others downstairs.
