Putting the Long Dead to Rest

After a few days of finding the source of these attacks they met up at the Great Hall on Berk and Queen Mala along with Alvin and Dagger. Stoick and Mitne Sventar laid out the targets but one caught Hybrid a ship that he remembers and hated. Ava noticed this rage in Hybrid but nothing like she saw before because it was usually his nature's rage, but this was his own.

Stoick then said, "These are the targets, and we need a way to neutralise them."

Hybrid then said, "Is the Captain of that Ship, Kivloth." (Key-v-loaf)

Mitne Sventar replied, "Yeah, it is anyway."

Hybrid said, "Then I'll care of Kivloth."

Hiccup asked, "May I ask why?"

Hybrid replied aggressively, "Excuse my language but Me and that Bastard have some unfinished business, one that I look forward to finishing."

After planning the group left to prepare and while Hybrid was checking his weapons Ava came by and asked, "What happened between you and this Kivloth person?"

Hybrid then said, "It was a long time ago, but I know why he did it and I'll leave it there."

Ava then said, "I may not know what he did, but I know it was very personal because it is the other person talking. Beside I'm not going to stop you, I just want to understand, and it will probably do you better. Please."

Hybrid then stated, "He wronged me badly is that enough."

Ava then said, "From what I can tell, your defensive meaning that you attempting to avoid something. And don't say your not because you taught me that skill and my mind making it easier to see it. So, just tell me you'll feel a bit better, and I would worry less, and you'd probably not rush into a fight without thinking."

"I… Okay, you win." Hybrid replied and began to explain while trying not to break down, "A long time after I had run away from my home, I had decided to adopt four children and yes didn't realise how much of headache they would be, but I made it work. So, they went separate ways unfortunately one of them passed two years prior to the beginning of the Reality War, they had asked me to take care of their kids one who's barely 1 named Rose and one that was sixteen called Grace. For two years I had taken care of them, and I went to the main city that was near the mining colony to get something for gift for Grace a week before her eighteenth birthday and Kivloth and my brother from another adoptive family had planned to attack them while I wasn't there, and I couldn't save them."

Ava reminded, "It wasn't your fault you hadn't known." Ava then said, "I'm sorry that I brought it up, but I had to. Do you feel better?"

Hybrid then said, "A bit better but I suppose it's progress."

Ava smiled and said, "Well, let's go kill this son of a Bitch."

Hybrid perked up as he said, "Didn't see that coming."

Ava remarked, "Well, nor did I with you anger directed at this man."

The group then set off and split off to attack the key targets. Once Hybrid and Ava found the ship that bared the name 'Uoinota Lleisgartor' meaning Hell Risen. They land in dense vegetation and sneak on to the Uoinota Lleisgartor and break on.

Ava then asked quietly, "Okay, what now."

Hybrid whispers back, "Now we head to the engine room as it contains a fusion core and begin the ships self-destructed and this will cause Kivloth to come run into us."

Ava then said, "What if the engine is guarded."

Hybrid replied, "Then we head to the ornaments room due to the fact that it is always a powder keg."

Ava then nodded at the duo delve deeper into the ship and reach the core itself. When Ava entered the same room as the core, she felt the hot atmosphere that is just a few degrees over a pleasant warmth. The temperature increased as she lurked closer to the core and heard the blades whirl from multiple angles and frosted pipes that cover the core.

Ava asked, "How can frost form on those pipes if the room is hot?"

Hybrid replied, "It's a substance known as liquid nitrogen it is what cools the core and is non-flammable liquid that boils at almost 200 degrees below zero."

Ava then asks, "So, how do we destroy it?"

Hybrid replied by breaking a liquid nitrogen pipe and the broken piped hissed as fog rushed out and the core glowed redder. Ava then nodded and attempted to punch it and the pipe broke and with another strike from an overconfident Ava sent the broken pipe into the core. It clashed against it, but no major damage was noticeable until it hit a one-way valve. Hybrid saw this and grabbed Ava by the wrist and escaped out-side and covered her with his wings. As soon as he does this an explosion occurs near the back and the centre follows then the powder keg.

A man the comes rushing to see the ship alight.

Ava sees him and asks, "I'm taking that is Kivloth?"

Hybrid looked to the man and his chest rose in temperature. Ava was then quick and using her staff restrained Kivloth.

Kivloth then says, "What is the meaning of this do you know who I am."

A draconic helmet forms on Hybrid's head as he walks to Kivloth.

Hybrid then asks, "I do, but do you know who I am?"

Kivloth says, "I can't with your damn helmet on."

Hybrid then says, "Then I'll give you a hint, I'm the son of Bitch whose kids were murdered by your hands."

Kivloth then remarks, "That doesn't help."

Hybrid then replied, "Oh, how about another? I am Cataclysm, son of Mitne Sventar and the fucking prince of the Dark Citadel."

Kivloth wide eyed and said in realisation, "No, I… I… I can explain."

Hybrid said, "The one person you'll be explaining to is your Devil not me. So, say your final words before I see to it that you witness your own beating heart."

Kivloth answered, "NO… no please no. Please have mercy."

With a quick movement Hybrid tore out Kivloth's heart and Kivloth see it's final beats as a cloaked skeleton appears and says, "Damn brutal death but not the worse one to happen ever anyway, religion."

Kivloth felt his body fall and he was now a ghost like thing. He said, "Who are you?"

"I have many names a few are Death, Reaper and the Grim Reaper." Death answered then asks, "Religion?"

"Kelrical." Kivloth answered.

Death remarked, "Oh, not good."

Kivloth asked with concern, "What is it?"

Death answered, "So, Hybrid had just commended your conscious to be 'fed to the crows.' In other words, you unfortunately don't get a trial to figure out where you should be and are immediately sent to your Devil."

Kivloth said, "No, I can't believe I'm going to the Irathic Pillars."

Death replied, "I mean you probably were gonna get sent there anyway but yeah. Also, I have to pick where in the Irathic Pillars, actually what do you prefer the fire pillar or the acid pillar."

"Does it matter." Kivloth replied.

Death then said, "You know what fire pillar will do fine. It's fairly hard to see someone burning alive for about three second of eternity which is good."

Ava asked, "Is that really necessary?"

Hybrid said, "Well, he can now think to himself in the Irathic Pillars."

Ava said, "I guess that was deserved but what does that do."

Hybrid answered, "It basically makes his conscious automatically go to the Irathic Pillars or a Hellish Afterlife without trial."

Ava said, "Wow." She then asks, "How are we gonna tell the other riders about this?"

Hybrid said, "I guess by telling them the whole ideal the entire truth."

They then leave the scene and head to the rest of the team.

They approach the main camp and see it in ruins and the group hanging around a tent. The duo lands and are greeted by Stoick and Gobber.

Stoick then sees that their target isn't with them and asks, "Where's Kivloth?"

Hybrid says rather coldly, "Dead."

Gobber then asks Ava, "I guess he had something to do with the man's death."

Ava then replied, "He's gonna explain later."

Hiccup came out of the tent with Viggo and said, "We need a place to put him."

Mitne Sventar then asks, "What happened to Kivloth?"

Ava answered, "That will be explain most preferably not in front of Viggo."

Hybrid then said, "Lets head to the edge and put him the brig there."

Hiccup then said, "Good idea, Hybrid."

They head to the edge and after Viggo was put in the Dragon Ridge brig. Hybrid explained what had happened and his allies were shocked and saddened by those events. Mitne Sventar then preformed a quick but meaningful funeral and Hybrid felt better that the two are now at rest. It was short lived by fireball descending from the sky and the group readied for battle.
