So, even if Lady Maria is my one and only reviewer, I'll continue the story .

I hope I'll get some reviews for the next chapters.

Thanks to Lady Maria for beta-reading and reviewing!

Chapter 4:

Buffy felt tired, just deadly tired. She had cried for some time now and was exhausted by the intensity of her feelings. She had seen the whole thing again, her Dad hitting her Mom and her, her Mom and her on run, and the last day of her Mom's life as well as her Mom's death. She felt empty inside. As she had no more tears to cry being dry inside, she recognized her new family and friend standing in front of her, trying to speak with her.

Shane noticed the change in her first. He saw something getting back in her eyes, saw that she noticed her surroundings again and tried again. He moved slowly into hugging her pleading to her to recognize him and react to it. "Buffy, look at me, speak to us, and don't ignore us!" he pleaded.

Buffy was too tired to do more than wince as Shane went to hug her. The first moment she was afraid that he might hurt her, as her Dad had done, but she was too tired to fight him. And after a moment she realized, that he was hugging her to comfort her and she relaxed a bit, now sobbing.

The others were stunned; they had seen Shane, who was known for being damned stuck up, hugging the girl, and pleading to her to come back to them. They had seen the girl wincing and looking really afraid and then relaxing into his arms, breaking into sobs again.

"I saw it. I saw it again!" she whispered between her sobs, her whole small body shaking from her sobs.

She cried into Shane's shoulder, not willing to say more.

Her new family was just standing close to her and Shane waiting for her to explain her words.

After some time, her sobs died away, and she felt asleep.

Shane brought her into the truck, and Steph drove them back to the hotel were they put her in bed in her cloths, just getting her shoes off.

Willow was with them and went to bed too; she wanted to be there for Buffy when she would wake up again.

Shane, Steph and Linda were back at the show, doing their work.

After the Show, the three met in Linda's room, to speak about Buffy.

The next morning Buffy woke up late. At first she could not remember where she was, but that wasn't new to her. Her mother and she had travelled fast trying to cover their tracks. Her mother, now she remembered, her mother was dead as dead as her father who killed her. She remembered the last day, meeting her new family and watching the match. The match that triggered her emotions and let her memories running wild.

But what happened afterwards? She tried hard to remember. Oh my-no she hadn't or had she? She could not have cried in Shane's arms. She didn't know Shane, she never cried into anyone's shoulder. It was so embarrassing.

Her new family was wondering what would happen now. They were not sure, if they could let Buffy accompany them. She was so vulnerable if it came to violence. She would have to decide for herself if she wanted to stay with them abroad or if she wanted to go to Vince.

Willow and Buffy were on their way down to breakfast. They hadn't spoken about the other evening as Buffy ignored every question Willow asked.

As they arrived at the table, their families were waiting for them. The other wrestlers in the breakfast room were watching with interest. Why were the Hardys and McMahons sitting at one table? Who were the two new girls there?
