I am now going to post this, and the remaining chapters I had written in advance, all in one go. Sorry again about the wait.

CHAPTER 4: WHO IS RAVEN BLACK?
1 September 1994
"...So it better be…Slytherin!" finished the Sorting Hat, exclaiming the last word loudly. The word echoed around the Great Hall and the Slytherin table erupted into applause and cheers. Raven smiled and made her way to the Slytherin table. She spotted Mattheo and Draco grinning at her. They had left a spot between them and Raven sat down.
"Look at you, a Slytherin through and through," said Mattheo nudging her teasingly. Raven grinned at him. During the feast, everyone around Raven had been really nice to her and very welcoming. After the feast, everyone was chatting with smiles on their faces and food in their stomachs.
"Now before you all head off to bed and we're all settled in I have one more thing to announce," started Professor Dumbeldore. Draco frowned.
"That's odd, normally Dumbledore doesn't say anything after the feast," explained Draco. Mattheo grinned.
"It might be a warning about you Raven," said Mattheo teasingly. Draco grinned and Raven stuck her tongue out at her brother.
"This year, we are to have the honour of hosting a very exciting event over the coming months, an event that has not been held for over a century. We will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament!" he exclaimed. The room erupted into conversation.
"No way, the Triwizard Torunament?" Raven asked grinning. "This is unreal," she added. Draco and Mattheo grinned.
"Bet you feel lucky now," said Draco. Raven nodded and grinned.
"Quiet please, this year you will be sharing your home with some very special guests. Hogwarts has been chosen to host this legendary event. The Triwizard Tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. In each school, a single student is selected to compete. Let me be clear, if chosen you stand alone and trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint-hearted. But more of that later. Now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and their headmistress Madame Maxime." The Great Hall doors opened and in flourished a bunch of girls dressed in blue silk uniforms. Raven watched intently as they put on a special performance. Everyone clapped and cheered when it was over. "And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and their High master, Igor Karkaroff. Their performance was a lot less dainty and even involved fire.
"Oh my god, that's Victor Krum," whispered Draco Malfoy. Raven looked at who he was pointing at.
"Your attention please, eternal glory awaits the student who wins this tournament but to do this the student must survive three tasks. Three extremely dangerous tasks. For this reason, a new rule has been put into place. And will be explained by Mr Barty Crouch himself.
"The ministry has concluded that no student under the age of 17 is to be allowed to put forward their name for this tournament," explained Barty Crouch. There was an uproar due to this, with loads of students shouting out in frustration.
"Silence!" called out Professor Dumbledore. "The Triwizard Tournament from this moment on has begun."

Raven, Draco and Mattheo made their way back to Slytherin's common room.
"You know that you two can go and see your friends, I won't bite anyone," she said teasingly. Mattheo and Draco grinned.
"We want to show you around," said Mattheo wrapping his arm around Raven's shoulders. Raven rolled her eyes.
"You do realise I've already been here right?" she said rolling her eyes. Draco grinned.
"But do you know everywhere in the castle?" he asked. He grabbed her hand and dragged her down a corridor.
"This isn't the way to the common room," said Raven frowning. Draco grinned.
"That's because we're not going to the common room right away, I want to show you somewhere first," he said grinning. The three Slytherins ran down the corridor. They were standing in front of a wall and Raven was just about to say something when a door started to appear in the wall.
"Welcome, to the room of requirement," said Mattheo grinning and holding the door open. Raven's jaw dropped as she walked into the room.
"You found it?" she asked. Draco and Mattheo gaped at her.
"You know about the room of requirement?" Mattheo asked. Raven grinned and winked at him.
"Of course I do, Dad told me all about it," she replied skipping into the room and grinning from ear to ear. The room was massive and full of ornaments and objects of every kind. Raven couldn't help but feel like something was watching her.
"This is where we all hang out," said Draco smugly while sitting down on a throne. Raven grinned at him.
"I presume you're the leader of the group," she said grinning. Draco chuckled.
"Mattheo and I are at the top," Draco explained. Mattheo grinned.
"Sadly you're just going to be introduced as our younger relative so you'll be below us," said Mattheo smirking. Raven rolled her eyes. Just then the door opened. Raven turned to see 6 people walk in; 3 girls and 3 boys. Draco stood up.
"Raven I would like to formally introduce you to the group," he said walking over to his friends. "This is Blaise Zabini," said Draco gesturing to the tallest of the group. He was dark with a strong build and mesmerising eyes. Blaise smiled at her and nodded. Raven smiled back.
"That's Lorenzo Berkshire," said Mattheo grinning. Lorenzo grinned.
"Call me Enzo, love," said Lorenzo kissing her hand and winking. Draco and Mattheo frowned.
"Hands off Berkshire," warned Draco. Enzo held his hands up in surrender but was grinning. Mattheo rolled his eyes.
"This is Theodore Nott," added Mattheo. Theodore grinned and held out his hand.
"Nice to meet you, and call me Theo," he said grinning. Raven smiled and shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you, Theo," she replied. Draco grinned and walked over to a brunette and a blonde girl.
"These two lovely ladies are the Greengrass daughters, Astoria the youngest and Daphne the oldest," said Draco. The two girls grinned at her. The blonde one held out her hand.
"Nice to meet you, Raven," said Daphne. Raven grinned and shook her hand.
"Likewise," she replied.
"And this one here," said Mattheo draping his arm over the dark-haired girl's shoulders. "This is Pansy Parkinson," he said. Pansy smiled at Raven.
"And as everyone knows, this is Raven. Our relative," Draco finished saying. Raven grinned. They all sat down around the fireplace and talked.
"So tell me about you all," said Raven grinning. Enzo grinned.
"Well I am very much single," he said winking at her. Mattheo rolled his eyes.
"And very much a man whore," he added shoving his friend.
"Don't trust Berkshire, he's a good time in bed but has really bad commitment issues," said Pansy rolling her eyes. Theo grinned.
"Who knows, maybe all Enzo needed was a dark-haired daughter of the Black family line," he said chuckling. Draco frowned.
"Shove off both of you, she's not going to be one of your escorts," said Draco. Mattheo grinned.
"He wouldn't dare," said Mattheo.
"So Raven, where did you go before Hogwarts?" asked Daphne. "Was it Beauxbatons?" she added. Raven stopped for a moment and looked at Mattheo.
"Daph, that's classified information," said Mattheo wiggling his eyebrows. Draco grinned.
"No, but more seriously, I told you all we can't answer your questions," Draco added. Raven grinned.
"I'm a mystery after all," she said grinning at Mattheo. Mattheo grinned back at her.
"That you are," he said. At a quarter to 11 pm they all headed back to the Slytherin common room.
"You're going to be in our dorm," said Pansy linking arms with Raven. Raven grinned. "I can tell you and I are going to be good friends," Pansy added grinning back at her.
"We share with Tracy Davies and Millicent Bulstrode," added Daphne grinning. "Astoria is two years below us," she said. Astoria grinned. Draco came over to them and put his arm around Raven and Pansy's shoulders.
"How's it going over here?" he asked grinning. Raven grinned.
"Raven's better off with us than all you boys," said Pansy grinning. Draco rolled his eyes and grinned.
"Raven, Draco, over here!" called Mattheo. The two of them walked over to him. "So how's it going?" he asked grinning. Raven grinned.
"Great, I like them a lot," she said jerking her head towards the girls. Draco grinned.
"Pansy sure does like you," he said nudging her. Rapidly, Raven and the girls headed up to their dorm and got ready for bed. Raven got into her pyjamas and climbed into bed. Soon the dorm room was dark and quiet. Raven lay there and looked out the window. The sky was clear and the moon was shining brightly through the window.

For the next couple of days, all everyone could seem to talk about was the TriWizard Tournament, and Raven of course. Raven knew people would have questions but she didn't expect to be stared at like she was a zoom animal. Raven was sitting in the common room with Draco and Mattheo.
"Will people ever stop staring," she grumbled, propping her book up to try and hide her face from a group of curious second years. Mattheo and Draco grinned.
"Easy tiger, remember you're not allowed to hex anyone, this isn't Hogwarts 13 years ago," said Mattheo in a low voice and grinning. Raven rolled her eyes.
"Things were all around better in my time," she grumbled. Draco grinned.
"Yeah I can imagine," he said. Raven huffed and glared at the group of second-years who squeaked and ran off.
"You have no idea how lucky you are to have the TriWizard Tournament happen while you're here," she said changing the subject and grinning at her brother and cousin. They grinned back.
"Bet you're happy you're here too then," said Mattheo. Raven grinned.
"You bet I am," she said.
"It's so annoying we can't enter," grumbled Draco. Raven grinned.
"Do you think you could enter Raven as you're technically 27-" Mattheo started.
"Shut it, Riddle, you can't just say that out in the open," hissed Draco. "You heard what our parents said, for whatever reason, we need to keep Raven as secret as possible." Mattheo shrugged.
"Sorry I forgot," he said grinning sheepishly. Raven rolled her eyes and grinned at him.
"Oh that reminds me, I have to go see old Dumbledore," said Raven standing up. Draco and Mattheo looked at her and frowned. "He wants to talk to me or something," she said rolling her eyes. "Probably to make sure I don't murder anyone," she said grinning. Draco stood up.
"We should come with you," he said. Raven shook her head.
"No need," she said. Besides, he's up to something and I'm going to figure it out. She grinned at them and went off to Professor Dumbledore's office. She knocked on the door softly.
"Come in," came a soft elderly man's voice. Raven pushed the door open and walked in. "Ah good afternoon Miss Riddle, or should I say, Miss Black," said Professor Dumbledore smiling at her. Raven smiled back.
"Good afternoon Professor," she replied. 'And Miss Black will do perfectly thank you," she added smiling.
"I am very glad you decided to return to Hogwarts after your... absence," he added looking deeply into her eyes. Raven could feel a surge of magic around her. She knew what he was trying to do. Raven batted her eyelashes and smiled innocently at him.
"I am very happy to be allowed back, I can't wait to learn everything that is needed to succeed in life," she said smiling sweetly. She could see the ghost of a frown form on Professor Dumbledore's brow. Raven had to hold back a smile.
"Well, I suppose you are settling in nicely with your family members and your other fellow Slytherins," he said. Raven smiled and nodded politely. "Very well," he said after a moment's pause. "You may go now," he said. Raven nodded and left grinning to herself.

"Mattheo, I need to talk to you," she hissed. Mattheo jerked awake.
"Blimey Raven, what are you doing in my dorm?" he hissed back. Raven shushed him and grabbed his hand.
"Come on," she insisted. The two of them made their way down to the Slytherin common room.
"What?" he grumbled rubbing his eyes.
"Legilimency," said Raven. Mattheo blinked at her. She rolled her eyes. "Oh for God's sake Mattheo, old Dumbledore uses legilimency to read people's minds," she said. Mattheo shrugged at her.
"No he doesn't, he's too pure to do something as invading as that," said Mattheo. Raven rolled her eyes.
"Gosh you're so naive," said Raven. "Look, tell me what you feel," she said. She then shut her eyes and concentrated for a moment.
"I don't know, I guess I feel warm and tingly?" he suggested unsure. Raven opened her eyes and grinned at him.
"And you have a crush on Daphne Greengrass don't you," she said triumphantly. Mattheo gaped at her.
"How did you?" he asked baffled. Raven grinned.
"Legilimency," she replied simply. Mattheo looked at her stunned. "Dumbledore was trying to get into my mind when I went to his office," she said. "That feeling you felt, I felt it when I was in there."
"But why would he do that?" Mattheo asked. "What does he possibly want to know from you?" Raven shrugged.
"No idea. All I know is that he was disappointed when he didn't find anything," she replied smugly.
"You're an occlumens?" he asked stunned. Raven grinned and nodded.
"Father taught me before coming to Hogwarts for the first time," she said. "He knew Dumbledore wasn't to be trusted," she added. Mattheo nodded slowly.
"Could you teach me?" he asked hopefully. Raven grinned.
"Well I'll have to now that I've told you about it," she said. They grinned at each other.
