Chapter 6

A sigh came from the front of the car. "Lita, do not teach them how to tease, it's bad enough having you around when you are in that mood."

The girls giggled. They definitely liked the way Willow's new family were acting. They were carefree and funny and one felt comfortable around them bickering at each other in the car.

Some hours later they were still on their way. Willow was working on her laptop while Buffy fell asleep. She was still a bit exhausted by the events of the previous evening.

When they arrived at the hotel the girls went to their room, while the wrestlers were going to the gym to train a bit.

At dinner they spoke with the girls and decided to have them stay at the hotel during the next shows. They could watch them on TV or do some other things like their homework or whatever else they had to do. And it would be better for Buffy to be away from the fights.

The next day the girls were allowed to go shopping and they were both exited by the prospect of it and went out to the mall after lunch.

Nobody expected that there would be problems arising at the mall.

Buffy and Willow were at the mall, trying on clothes.masses of clothes. They were both happy to have the whole afternoon for shopping. And their families had been generous in the amount of cash they had for their shopping tour. For teens their age it was like a kind of heaven where they even forgot about their problems and memories.

It was a happy day for them until they came out of a clothing shop crashing into a crime scene where a gang was trying to rob people. They could not run away as they stumbled into the middle of it.

Some of the men started to circle them at instance knowing they have to have money because they carried bags of designer shops. One snarled "So ladies, give your money to us at instant and we won't hurt you much." The others were chuckling. Buffy was in a stupor again, hating violence and being thrown back into her memories once more. Willows eyes were getting wide. "Jesse?" she stuttered. "You're in a gang now?" She had recognized the voice at once. It was her first lover, who tried to rob her. He was taken aback for a moment, too. "Willow, Willow Rosenberg, who would have thought I would meet you here. Have you missed me, eh lover?" he snarled. They were still advancing towards the two girls. "What's with your pretty friend here? She isn't speaking with us, rude much!" he continued.

Suddenly someone shouted. "Hey boy, want to try someone of your height? Instead of being coward and frightening small girls?"

Snarling Jesse searched for the man who interrupted his fun.

Shocked he went a step back. "JejeJeff Hardy?" He stuttered. He was being challenged by one of his heroes.

"Not only Jeff Hardy!" Another voice quipped. "Also Matt Hardy and Shane McMahon as well as Lita Hardy," Matt was grinning. "So call your dogs back, kiddo and get away."

The gang was stunned. They were stopped by a bunch of wrestlers.

Jesse told his boys to back off, and advanced Willow again. "Lucky lover," he snarled, "even without friends or family someone is stupid enough to protect you - well must be they do not know you."

While he was speaking, the wrestlers were also advancing them and while Shane put his arm protectively around Buffy's shoulder, Matt did the same with Willow.

The latter stunned Jesse for a moment before he found his wits again. "Found a new lover, lover?" he asked.

"No," Matt answered for her, "she just got back to her protecting family. Do not try anything on her again or you will have to deal with her family. That includes me, Jeff and Lita." He warned the boy who had dared to frighten his little sister.

Now the boy finally backed off.

The Hardys and Shane went back to the hotel, Matt trying to calm the hyperventilating Willow, Shane trying to get Buffy back again out of her stupor.

Lita sighed. "Girls, we will have to teach you some self-defence. Seriously, we can not let you go out alone again until we have taught you at least the basics of self-defence. Until then one of us has to accompany you and protect you."

They got them back to the hotel and the girls went to their room, trying to have some time alone to adjust to everything.
