Chapter 14 SS. Anne Tournament Round 3 Part 2
Hello everyone, here's part 2 of round 3 this chapter will include the rest of the main cast battles enjoy!
We begin where the last chapter left off with Leaf's Jigglypuff and Whitney's Girafarig colliding with each other, after they collide there's, an explosion knocking the two Pokemon back a few feet.
"Now Psybeam!" Whitney calls Girafarig fires a psychic beam towards Jigglypuff
"Dodge then use Brick Break!" Leaf calls Jigglypuff quickly dodges the Psybeam and charges forward ready to hit its opponent
"Use Reflect!" Whitney calls Girafarig summons a giant pink barrier covering the Pokemon as Jigglypuff hits the barrier Girafarig takes some damage but not much thanks to the reflect
"Jigglypuff Tri Attack!" Leaf calls as Jigglypuff fires three beams of fire, electric and Ice towards Girafarig
"Use Mirror Coat!" Whitney calls shocking Leaf as Girafarig summons a mirror in front of it sucking in the Tri Attack and shooting it back towards Jigglypuff
"Jump in the air to dodge it!" Leaf calls Jigglypuff quickly jumps in the air barely dodging the blast. "Great job Jigglypuff now use Sing!" Leaf calls as Jigglypuff smiles and begins to sing which not only gets Girafarig sleepy but its trainer and some people in the crowd as well.
"This is a powerful sing attack yawn" Violet says with the commentators agreeing also yawning, Whitney's Girafarig goes to sleep
"Now Jigglypuff use Play Rough!" Leaf calls Jigglypuff charges forward at the sleeping Girafarig ready to hit its opponent but Whitney smiles
"Use Psychic and hold Jigglypuff!" Whitney calls Girafarig immediately wakes up catching Jigglypuff this surprises Leaf
"But how Girafarig should be fast asleep? My Jigglypuff's sing move is usually very effective" Leaf asks in shock with Whitney answering
"My Girafarig's ability is Early Bird the ability allows the Pokemon to wake up much faster than it would normally" Whitney answers with a smile shocking Leaf
"Now let's end this Girafarig keep holding Jigglypuff in place with Psychic and use Iron Tail!" Whitney calls as Girafarig gives a mighty roar as it charges forward with its tail glowing still holding Jigglypuff with Psychic
"Jigglypuff quick break out of there with Hyper Voice!" Leaf calls as Jigglypuff gives a loud scream to try and stop Girafarig from advancing this does hurt the Giraffe Pokemon but it keeps going and hits Jigglypuff with its tail sending it flying towards Leaf's feet unconscious.
"Jigglypuff is unable to battle Girafarig is the winner!" The ref calls as Whitney and Girafarig cheer Leaf returns Jigglypuff
"Sorry Jigglypuff I wasn't able to let you shine like you normally do" Leaf says as she takes out another Pokeball
"I wonder who Leaf will send out next?" Misty asks
"I wonder as well she'll need a Pokemon that's very quick to deal with Girafarig" Brock says
"Leaf's got this I'm sure" Ash says with a determined look as Leaf sends out her next Pokemon
"Meowth I choose you!" Leaf calls as the little scratch Pokemon appears it has a bow around its neck gives a small meow and scratches its ear
"She's so cute!" TR's Meowth says in disguise with hearts in his eyes as Jessie and James try to get him to be quiet, so he doesn't blow their cover, Croagunk masks gives them a slight glance before looking back at the battlefield.
"I didn't know Leaf had a Meowth" Ash says in shock
"Yeah, but unlike Team Rockets Meowth this one seems a lot more friendly" Brock responds as Ash, Pikachu and Misty nod
"Meowth I believe in you!" Leaf yells in encouragement as the scratch cat looks at its trainer smiles it then turns at its opponent and gets ready to battle
"Let the battle continue!" The ref calls as Whitney makes the first move
"Use Psychic!" Whitney calls Girafarig begins to fire the Psychic waves towards Meowth
"Use Fake Out!" Leaf calls as Meowth immediately jumps forward clapping its hands in Girafarig's face making the Pokemon stumble back and not use Psychic
"Nice one" Whitney says with a smile
"What's Fake out?" Iris asks
"It's a move that hits first and makes the target flinch. It only works the first turn each time the user enters battle." Ritchie says as the group nods
"Now Screech!" Leaf calls Meowth gives a loud screech that lowers Girafarig's defense greatly
"We're not done yet Girafarig use Zen Headbutt!" Whitney calls Girafarig roars covering its head in Psychic energy as it charges forward at Meowth
"Dodge then use Dark Pulse!" Leaf calls Meowth successfully dodges the Zen Headbutt and fires a wave of dark energy that hits Girafarig causing super effective damage
"Now finish with Night Slash!" Leaf calls Meowth covers its claws in dark energy as it charges forward at Girafarig.
"Use Psychic!" Whitney calls Girafarig is going to use the move but flinches (Dark Pulse caused it to flinch) shocking Whitney Meowth then slashes Girafarig making the Giraffe Pokemon fall as Meowth begins to lick its paw
"Girafarig is unable to battle Meowth is the winner!" The ref calls as Leaf celebrates
"That was great Meowth!" Leaf cheers as Meowth goes to its trainer allowing Leaf to pet it.
"Thank you Girafarig you fought hard" Whitney says returning the Pokemon as she takes out another Pokeball
"Go Aipom!" Whitney calls and outcomes a small purple monkey Pokemon with a hand on the end of its tail it begins to do multiple flips in the air
"So that's an Aipom?" Leaf says as she takes out her Pokedex
"Aipom, the Long Tail Pokémon. Aipom is able to climb and hang from branches using its powerful tail. Aipom live atop tall trees." The Pokedex says
"Meowth get ready I've a feeling this one is going to be tough" Leaf says with a serious expression as Meowth nods getting serious as well
"Let the battle continue!" The ref calls
"Meowth use-"Before Leaf could call out an attack Whitney makes the first move
"Use Fake Out!" Whitney calls shocking Leaf as Aipom charges forward as it claps its hands in front of Meowth causing the cat Pokemon to flinch
"Now Focus Punch!" Whitney calls as Aipom begins to focus fighting energy on its tail
"Meowth quick use Fury Swipes!" Leaf calls as Meowth charges forward extending out its claws to scratch Aipom
"Dodge with Double team then land your Focus Punch!" Whitney calls as Aipom dodges the fury swipes with double team it then charges forward to hit Meowth with focus punch
"Use Growl!" Leaf calls as Meowth Growls in Aipom's face lowering its attack as the monkey Pokemon hits Meowth in the stomach with its tail sending the cat towards Leaf
"Are you okay Meowth?!" Leaf asks in concern as Meowth nods but pants heavily
"It was a good thing you called for Growl when you did if you didn't Aipom's Focus Punch would've knocked out Meowth" Whitney says as Aipom begins to jump up and down
"She's right Meowth would've been knocked out if I hadn't called for Growl and now Meowth's taken major damage" Leaf thinks to herself as she takes out Meowth's Pokeball
"Meowth return for now" Leaf says as she returns the cat Pokemon and takes out another Pokeball
"I was hoping to save you for last, but I need your help Poilwrath I choose you!" Leaf calls as she sends out the blue bipedal amphibian Pokemon it punches its fist together ready to battle
"So, Leaf evolved her Poilwag" Misty says
"A Poilwrath huh good choice but it won't change anything" Whitney says with a confident smile
"We'll see about that" Leaf responds smiling as well
"The battle may continue!" The ref calls as Whitney makes the first move
"Use Sand Attack!" Whitney calls as Aipom fires sand towards Poilwrath
"Blow it away with Water Gun!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath gets rid of the sand attack
"Use Thunder wave!" Whitney calls Aipom fires rings of electricity towards Poilwrath
"Use Protect then Hypnosis!" Leaf calls Poilwrath summons a protective barrier blocking the thunder wave and begins to send hypnotic waves at Aipom
"Dodge it!" Whitney calls but the waves were too fast as Aipom is put to sleep
"Now finish with Dynamic Punch!" Leaf calls Poilwrath quickly runs forward with its fist glowing as it punches the sleeping monkey causing super effective damage knocking it out.
"Aipom is unable to battle Poilwrath is the winner!" The ref calls as Leaf and Poilwrath cheer Whitney returns Aipom
"Don't celebrate too early this is where the real battle starts Go Miltank!" Whitney calls as a pink Bipedal cow like Pokemon appears ready to battle Ash, Leaf and Ritchie scan the Pokemon with their Pokedex's.
"Miltank, the Milk Cow Pokémon. Miltank produces very nutritious milk, a perfect drink for reviving sick Pokémon. Miltank are very even-tempered and prefer not to battle." The Pokedex says
"The battle may continue!" The ref calls
"Use Bubblebeam!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath fires a stream of bubbles towards Miltank
"Get rid of the bubbles with Shock Wave then use Rollout!" Whitney calls as Miltank fires a wave of electricity destroying the bubblebeam it then curls into a ball as it begins to spin quickly towards Poilwrath hitting the Pokemon as it then continues to roll around the Pokemon
"Use Bulk up and try to stop Miltank with Hydro Pump!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath bulks up its body increasing its attack and defense it fires the Hydro Pump towards Miltank but the cow rolls out of the way and hits Poliwrath again with the move hurting more than last time.
"That's right Miltank keep using Rollout!" Whitney says as Miltank continues to spin dodging Poilwrath's attacks and hitting the Pokemon more
"If this keeps going Poilwrath will go down" Brock says
"Come on Leaf you need to break out of this somehow" Ash says to himself watching the battle
"Oh man what should I do if Poilwrath goes down Meowth will be my last Pokemon and she's already injured from the previous battle come on Leaf think" Leaf says to herself as she gets an idea
"Poilwrath use Rain Dance!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath summons the rain on the battlefield
"I'm not sure what you're planning but it won't work Miltank end it with one more Rollout!" Whitney calls as Miltank charges forward at Poilwrath to end the battle
"Dodge!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath successfully dodges the Rollout shocking Whitney, Miltank goes to hit Poilwrath again, but the Pokemon dodges this keeps going on for a while making Miltank frustrated that it can't land a hit
"Does your Poilwrath have Swift Swim?" Whitney asks curiously with Leaf smiling in confirmation
"Yep, with the help of the rain Poilwrath will be able to move a lot quicker and this will also stop Miltank" Leaf says with a smile as Whitney wonders how the rain will stop Miltank she soon gets her answer when Miltank starts to spin out of control because of how wet the battlefield is and falls on the ground.
"Poilwrath use Hydro Pump then end it with Close Combat!" Leaf calls as Poilwrath fires the Hydro Pump greatly hurting Miltank as its knocked on the ground before Whitney could call her next attack Poilwrath quickly runs towards Miltank and starts to punch it repeatedly doing super effective damage that makes Miltank unconscious
"Miltank is unable to battle Poilwrath is the winner making Leaf the winner of the match!" The ref calls as Leaf and Poilwrath celebrate the crowd claps happily, Whitney signs as she returns Miltank and walks over to Leaf
"You're a really strong trainer thanks for the good battle" Whitney says with a smile as she and Leaf shake hands the commentators give their comments on the battle as the two girls go back to their seats.
"Great job Leaf I knew you'd win" Ash says
"Thanks Ash it was a tough battle but I'm happy I won" Leaf responds with a smile.
After Leaf's battle a few more battles go by there's a certain trainer named Diamond that really interest Ritchie.
"Now will Kiawe from Akala Island and Clay from Driftveil City please come to the battlefield!" Alex calls both Kiawe and Clay walk to the field as they go to their sides Kiawe glances over at Larry who waves at him making Kiawe angry.
"Hey, I'm your opponent today you better focus" Clay says as Kiawe turns his head to the man Kiawe apologizes.
"I've heard that Clay is a very tough gym leader in the unova region not many trainers can get passed him hope Kiawe does well" Ritchie says
"Don't worry Ritchie Kiawe's got this" Ash says with determination in his eyes as soon as he said that Charmeleon appears from its Pokeball
"You want to watch Kiawe battle Charmeleon?" Ash asks with Charmeleon nodding, Charmeleon also looks over at Ritchie making the boy look at him
"Oh, can you tell that I have Zippo with me?" Ritchie asks with Charmeleon nodding
"You're going to use Zippo in your battle today?" Lana asks with Ritchie nodding
"Yep, I feel I'm going to need him for my battle today" Ritchie responds with a smile
"Cool I can't wait to see Zippo battle" "Char" Ash and Charmeleon say with Ritchie nodding as they stare back at the battlefield
"Both trainers please send out your first Pokemon!" The ref calls as both trainers bring out their Pokemon
"Go Magmar!" "Go Golurk!" Kiawe and Clay call as the evolved form of Magby appears from Kiawe and a large Titan like Pokemon appears on Clay's side not surprising Kiawe as this has been the only Pokemon Clay has been using so far in the tournament.
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Kiawe makes the first move
"Use Flamethrower!" Kiawe calls as Magmar fires the flames towards Golurk
"Knock that fire away then use Earthquake!" Clay calls as Golurk easily destroys the Flamethrower and stomps its foot down shaking not only the battlefield but also the stands and doing major damage to Magmar
"Hang in there Magmar use Willo Wisp!" Kiawe calls Magmar quickly fires the purple flames towards Golurk successfully burning it "Great job Magmar now return Go Marowak!" Kiawe returns Magmar and sends out his Alolan Marowak
"Interesting but I still have the advantage Golurk use Shadow Ball!" Clay calls as Golurk suffers from burn damage and fires a ball of ghostly energy towards Marowak
"Knock it back with Shadow Bone!" Kiawe calls as green flames cover Marowak's bone as it hits the Shadow ball back towards the giant Pokemon hitting it and doing some damage
"Counterattack with Shadow Punch!" "Counter with Iron Head Marowak!" Clay and Kiawe call Golurk covers its hand in ghostly energy while Marowak counters with Iron Head the two Pokemon clash creating an explosion causing Golurk to stumble back a bit as Marowak lands on the battlefield and begins to run towards Golurk
"Use Shadow Bone on Golurks legs!" Kiawe calls as Marowak charges with its bone covered in flames
"Try to stop it with Stone Edge!" Clay calls Golurk summons multiple sharp stones in hopes to stop Marowak
"Dodge with Dig then hit Golurk with Shadow Bone!" Kiawe calls as Marowak quickly digs underground dodging the Stone Edge it then reappears under Golurk hitting the titan with Shadow Bone causing super effective damage as the giant titan falls on its knee's it suffers from burn damage again Marowak jumps in the air.
"Now end it with Hex!" Kiawe calls Marowak starts spinning its bone very quickly as it unleashes a massive amount of ghost energy that consumes Golurk making the large Titan Pokemon cry out in pain
"Come on Golurk use Shadow Ball!" Clay calls but the titan Pokemon can't hear him from the pain
"Hex is a move that does more damage if the target has a status condition sorry its my win" Kiawe says making Clay angry
"Now end it with Shadow Bone!" Kiawe calls as Marowak falls from the sky and hits Golurk with its bone knocking the large Pokemon out.
"Golurk is unable to battle Marowak is the winner!" The ref calls as the crowd are left speechless
"Wow he took out Clays Golurk that fast" "Char" Ash and Charmeleon say in surprise with everyone except Lana surprised Clay then returns Golurk
"I must say boy not a lot of people are able to defeat my Golurk its usually able to defeat most of the trainers who challenge my gym Pokemon all by itself impressive" Clay says with Kiawe nodding
"But don't get cocky the battle is just going to get harder from here Excadrill Go!" Clay calls as he brings out his own Excadrill the Pokemon gives a mighty roar
"Wow he has his own Excadrill" Iris says with a shocked expression
"This is great I was wanting to battle a Excadrill Marowak return!" Kiawe says with a smile as he returns Marowak "Magmar Go!" Kiawe calls bringing back the spit fire Pokemon
"Let the battle continue!" The ref calls as Kiawe makes the first move
"Use Flamethrower!" Kiawe calls as Magmar fires the flames at Excadrill
"Heh blow that fire away with Crush Claw!" Clay calls as Excadrill is easily able to destroy the Flamethrower "As I expected" Kiawe says with a smile.
"Now use Swords Dance and Hone Claws!" Clay calls as Excadrill increases its attack and accuracy, but Kiawe isn't worried
"Use Sunny Day!" Kiawe calls as Magmar increases the brightness of the sun and also boosting up its fire power.
"Use Drill Run!" Clay calls as Excadrill shoots forward going to hit Magmar
"Use Smokescreen!" Kiawe calls as Magmar summons black smoke covering the battlefield and dodging Excadrill's attack making the mole Pokemon look around for its opponent
"Blow that smoke away with Rapid Spin!" Clay calls as Excadrill starts to spin getting rid of the smoke
"Use Fire Blast!" Kiawe calls shocking Clay and Excadrill as a big blast of fire appears hitting Excadrill causing super effective damage
"Excadrill!" Clay calls in worry as Excadrill struggles to stand up as it begins to pant
"I see so he created the smoke screen knowing Clay would want to get rid of it giving Magmar time to launch the Fire Blast impressive" Brock says as everyone nods Ash, Pikachu, Raichu and Charmeleon closely watch the battle.
"We're not done yet Excadrill use Earthquake!" Clay calls as Excadrill stomps the ground in hopes of hitting Magmar
"Use Psychic to lift yourself in the air and dodge!" Kiawe calls shocking everyone as Magmar uses Psychic on itself as it starts to fly in the air dodging the Earthquake
"But how?!" Clay says surprised
"I've trained my Magmar to be able to dodge ground type moves like Earthquake and even moves like Surf, the reason why I didn't do this against Golurk was so I could land the Willo wisp on it, and I also knew since you would have another Pokemon with Earthquake as well" Kiawe responds with a smile
"I see your really smart, but I won't lose I've my pride as a gym leader on the line Excadrill use Drill Run!" Clays says as Excadrill shoots forward at the floating Magmar
"Counter with Fire Punch!" Kiawe calls as Magmar still floating in the air heats up both fist as it charges and collides with Excadrill
"Keep pushing Excadrill!" Clay calls as Excadrill begins to push Magmar back
"Since I've increased Excadrill's attack there's no way it'll lose in a head-to-head collision" Clay says but Kiawe smiles
"You're right so I'm going to do this instead Magmar get above Excadrill!" Kiawe calls as Magmar stops the fire punch as it gets above the mole Pokemon surprising it and Clay
"Now Fire Blast!" Kiawe calls as Magmar fires a point-blank fire blast in front of Excadrill causing the Pokemon to crash on the ground causing a big dust cloud the Sunny Day also goes away. As the dust clears Magmar is standing over an unconscious Excadrill which shocks Clay and the crowd.
"Excadrill is unable to battle Magmar is the winner!" The ref calls as Kiawe nods Clay returns Excadrill
"Man, Kiawe's doing really good so far he hasn't lost a single Pokemon yet" Ritchie says
"Kiawe told me since he's a fire type trainer he's come up with a lot of ways to deal with the types weaknesses, he also battled a lot of trainers with ground type Pokemon in the Pokemon school and on Akala Island" Lana says as the group nods
"Well, boy you've done well so far but this is where I win Krookodile Go!" Clay calls as he brings out a large red crocodile like Pokemon with black stripes the Pokemon gives a mighty roar that intimidates Kiawe's Magmar but Kiawe isn't fazed
"Wow that Pokemon is so cool!" Ash and Leaf say as they along with Ritchie scan it with their Pokedex's
"Krookodile, the Intimidation Pokémon and the evolved form of Krokorok. Krookodile can see faraway objects as if through binoculars. Its jaws are strong enough to crush a car." The Pokedex says as everyone looks at the Pokemon in amazement
"Hmph the bosses Krookodile is more intimidating" Justin (Archer) says to himself
"Magmar you did great get a good rest" Kiawe says returning the Pokemon as he brings out another Pokeball "Go Fletchinder!" Kiawe calls bringing out the fire bird Pokemon as it flaps in the air not intimidated by its opponent
"Now let the battle continue!" The ref calls as Clay makes the first move
"Use Sandstorm!" Clay calls as Krookodile roars as it summons a large sandstorm that consumes the battlefield and doing some damage to Fletchinder
"Use Flame Charge and Fly around the battlefield!" Kiawe calls as Fletchinder covers its body in fire as it begins to quickly fly around the battlefield increasing its speed
"Use Stone Edge!" Clay calls as Krookodile shoots the large stones towards Fletchinder but can't hit it since its moving too fast
"Use Steel Wing then use Flame Charge again" Kiawe says as Fletchinder immediately hits Krookodile in the face with its wing before Krookodile could counterattack Fletchinder uses Flame Charge and hides inside the sandstorm
"Good now keep doing that" Kiawe says as Fletchinder keeps using the same tactic over and over again each hit gets faster to the point where Krookodile can't see where Fletchinder's going to come from, and the sandstorm isn't helping either
"Krookodile cancel the Sandstorm!" Clay calls as Krookodile stops the Sandstorm and is able to see Fletchinder
"Now Thunder Fang!" Clay calls as Krookodile charges forward with electricity coming out of its mouth
"Use Arial Ace!" Kiawe calls as Fletchinder disappears but reappears hitting Krookodile's stomach making the mon stop the Thunder fang as it groans in pain
"Now let's end this Fletchinder use Flame Charge!" Kiawe calls as before Clay could call for a move Fletchinder quickly covers its body in fire as it flies forward hitting Krookodile in the stomach as it makes the large Crocodile fly in air landing at Clays feet unconscious.
"Krocodile is unable to battle Fletchinder's the winner and making Kiawe the winner of the match!" The ref calls Kiawe and Fletchinder celebrate most of the crowd is shocked by how he defeated Clay but they all cheer for him
"Wow he really defeated Clay without losing a single Pokemon" Iris says with a shocked look
"If I have to face Kiawe I'll have to be really careful" Brock says with a serious expression Ash, Pikachu, Raichu and Charmeleon are left speechless as well.
"Thank you Krookodile" Clay says as he returns Krookodile and walks towards Kiawe
"To be able to beat me with out losing a single Pokemon is mighty impressive that hasn't happened to me since my battle with Red Ketchum if I had any gym badges with me, I'd gladly give you one" Clay says with a smile
"Thank you I really enjoyed todays battle as well" Kiawe responds with a smile they hear the commentator's comments and go back to their seats
"Now will Ritchie of Littleroot town and Virgil please come to the battlefield!" Alex calls as Ritchie and a boy around Brock's age with an Eevee on his shoulder walk to the battlefield and go to their sides.
"Please send out your first Pokemon!" The ref calls as both trainers bring out their Pokemon
"Leafeon time for battle!" "Go Gecko!" Virgil and Ritchie call bringing out both of their Pokemon as Ash and Leaf scan the two Pokemon with their Pokedex's
"Leafeon, the Verdant Pokémon. A Grass type. Like plants, Leafeon photosynthesize and generate extremely fresh air. The perfume made from its leaves is quite popular." The Pokedex says
"I want one" Leaf says with stars in her eyes
"Grovyle, the Wood Gecko Pokémon and an evolved form of Treecko. Grovyle has powerful legs, which allow it to move quickly and jump with great power." The Pokedex says
"Wow I hope I catch my own Grovyle one day" Ash says with an excited look
"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Virgil makes the first move
"Use Sunny Day then Quick Attack!" Virgil calls as Leafeon summons a bright sun as it shoots forward hitting Grovyle making the Pokemon slide back a few feet
"So, it has Chlorophyll in that case Gecko use Bullet Seed!" Ritchie calls as Gecko fires multiple seeds from its mouth
"Blow it away with Solorbeam!" Virgil calls as Leafeon quickly takes in the sun light and fires the grass beam destroying the Bullet seed
"Dodge then use Quick Attack!" Ritchie calls as Gecko dodges the Solarbeam at last minute it shoots forward hitting Leafeon in the face
"Now Leaf Blade!" "You use Leaf Blade as well" Both trainers call as the leaves on Gecko's arms grow and turn into blades. The leaf on Leafeon's head and its tail grow and turn into blades the two grass types clash going back and forth.
"Use X Scissor!" Ritchie calls Gecko quickly forms its arms in an X shape as it hits Leafeon in the face with the bug type move
"Use Aerial Ace!" Virgil calls Leafeon shoots forward as it hits Gecko in the stomach with the super effective flying type move
"Now use Swords Dance and end this battle with another Aerial Ace!" Virgil calls as Leafeon quickly increases its attack as it flies forward to defeat Grovyle
"Use Detect!" Ritchie calls as Gecko's eye sparkles as it dodges the Aerial Ace surprising Virgil
"Now Drain Punch!" Ritchie calls Gecko punches Leafeon in the face causing the green fox damage and sucking out its energy the Sunny day also goes away

"Dodge with Quick Attack then use Hurricane!" Ash calls Pidgeotto quickly dodges the sludge bomb and begins to flap its wings fast creating a hurricane that consumes Croagunk doing damage, but the frog and its trainer are still not fazed.
"Destroy the Hurricane with Sludge Wave" Croagunk mask calls as Croagunk summons a large wave of sludge that easily destroys the hurricane and does some damage to Pidgeotto

"Break it with Brick Break then use Sludge bomb" Croagunk mask calls as Croagunk's able to break the Protect with Brick break shocking Ash then the frog launches the sludge bomb which does massive damage to Pidgeotto and poisoning it.

"Finish it with one more Cross Poison!" Croagunk masks calls as Drapion goes to hit Squirtle with the move
"Come on Squirtle I know you can do it use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls pleadingly Squirtle inside its shell gets an idea as it starts to spin quickly making Drapion lose its grip on the turtle Pokemon and Squirtle starts to shoot water from outside of its shell shocking everyone as it hits Drapion causing damage to the Pokemon as Squirtle is now in the air.
"That's great Squirtle you've finally learned Hydro Pump" Ash says happily as Squirtle nods
"We're not done yet Drapion use Pin Missile!" Croagunk mask calls as Drapion suffers from leech seed damage again it fires the missiles
"Use Hydro Pump then use Skull Bash!" Ash calls as Squirtle begins to quickly spin as the water comes out of its shell destroying all the Pin Missiles Squirtle appears out of its shell as it dives headfirst towards Drapion.
"GOOOOOOOO!" Ash calls as Squirtle hits Drapion in the head causing the big spider to fall on the ground, Squirtle lands on the ground as well it runs to check on Drapion's condition as the blue turtle gets a big smile on its face as the ref makes the call.
"Drapion is unable to battle Squirtle is the winner making Ash the winner of the match and moving on to the next round!" The ref calls
"ALRIGHT!" "PIKA!" "RAI!" SQUIRT!" Ash and his Pokemon give a loud cheer as the crowd roars in excitement
"Yay that's my little bro!" Leaf says happily as she and Misty hug and give Lana a high five
"Great job Ashy Kins!" Giselle says with hearts in her eyes
"As always, he's able to overcome adversity" Brock says with a smile as Iris, Kiawe and Ritchie smile as well happy that Ash won
"Great job Squirtle you were amazing!" Ash says as he Pikachu and Raichu run up to the little turtle giving it a hug Charmeleon, Bulbasaur and PIdgeotto come out of their Pokeball's to congratulate Squirtle as well
"Squirt" Squirtle says happily as it then starts to glow a bright white shocking everyone
"Squirtle's evolving!" Ash says happily as he his Pokemon and everyone else look on in shock as Squirtle gets bigger its tail gets fluffier, grows ears, becoming a darker blue once the evolution stops what was once a Squirtle is now a Warturtle.
"That's great Warturtle you've evolved!" Ash says happily as he and his Pokemon hug the turtle Pokemon making Warturtle happy it then sees Bulbasaur looking at it Warturtle gets out of its trainers and the other Pokemon's hug as it walks over to Bulbasaur
"War?" Warturtle asks wondering if Bulbasaur is angry at it since it evolved as Bulbasaur stares at it
"Bulba" Bulbasaur says with a smile happy that its friend evolved making Warturtle happy as it wraps Bulbasaur in a big hug with Bulbasaur hugging it back as Ash and his other Pokemon smile
"Well, we lost Drapion thank you for battling hard" Croagunk masks says as Drapion nods as it goes back to its Pokeball Croagunk masks then walks to Ash and his Pokemon with Ash looking at him.
"That was a great battle you gave me young man thank you" Croagunk masks says in a happy voice
"Thank you, sir, I really enjoyed today's battle" Ash says as the two shake hands
"Oh, by the way who are you really?" Ash asks as Croagunk masks smiles
"Sorry Ash I'm keeping my identity a secret for a reason but one day you'll know" Croagunk masks says with a smile as Ash nods in understanding the two trainers shake hands, they hear the commentator's comments then head to their seats.
"Please take a look at the screen for the round 4 match ups which will be 2v2 Double battles!" Alex says everyone looks at the screen and see their opponents
Leaf's battle will be first and she'll go up against the Nimbasa City Gym Leader Elesa, Iris's battle is after hers and she'll battle a trainer that also uses dragon types named Ryuki, Brock's battle is next, and he'll go against Norman a normal type gym leader from Petal Burg City. There are a few battles after Brock's battle where it will be Misty's turn and she'll battle a bug type gym leader named Burgh (Misty isn't happy about this), Ritchie's battle is after hers he'll battle Fantina a ghost type gym leader from Heart home city. Kiawe's battle is after Ritchie's he'll face off against Larry with Ash's battle being last as he'll battle Justin.
"Looks like its finally time" "Yeah" Ash and Kiawe say as they look at Larry and Justin who are smiling at them
"Let's beat them tomorrow Ash" Kiawe says with Ash agreeing.
30 minutes later we see Croagunk masks just walking as the trio are still secretly following him
"This is boring he does the same thing everyday I want to go back to spying on the twerp that was more entertaining" Jessie says in an annoyed tone
"Come on Jess Archer trusted us to keep watch on this guy" James says
"Will you two stop bickering if you keep doing that we're going to-"Before Meowth could finish he notices that Croagunk masks is gone
"AHHHHHH!" The trio scream as they start to frantically look for him.
Meanwhile in some part of the ship in a dark room we see Croagunk masks with his mask off and is talking to someone oh his poke gear
"Whew took a while but I finally lost those three" Croagunk masks says
"So do you believe those three are trouble?" The voice on the other line asks
"I'm not sure they've probably done bad things before, but I get the feeling that they are good people" Croagunk masks responds
"Well, now that you're out of the tournament it'll be a lot easier for you to find team rocket members, I'm counting on you Looker" The voice says
"Right, I won't let you down Mr. Goodshow" Looker says as he puts his mask on and begins to walk to his room with the trio still trying to find him.
We'll end the chapter here, tell me what your guy's thoughts on the battles in this part are and which one is your favorite. Were you surprised to see Squirtle evolve? I felt this would be the best time to evolve it since its already stronger than it would be at this point. Did you guess right that Croagunk masks was Looker? I did make it obvious.
Round 4 like round 3 will be broken up into two parts as well. Part 1 will cover Leaf, Iris's, Brock's, Misty's and Ritchie's battles. While Part 2 will cover Kiawe's and Ash's battles with Larry and Justin I have a good idea for those battles, Part 2 of round 4 will also have the beginning of round 5.
