Ever since the Halloween party at school, Little Vampire had tried to talk to Ellie about changing her using magic.
Ellie on the other hand had found out from Margurite what Little Vampire intended to ask her and began actively avoiding the talk that her friend wanted to have with Ellie about making her into one of the living dead.
Michel who had heard about Little Vampire's idea thought that it was bad idea, so he tried to talk Little Vampire out of it. "I have my reasons for this." Little Vampire responded as they both looked for Ellie outside again.
"But shouldn't be up to Ellie?" Michel asked his best friend, Little Vampire paused for a moment. "I think that Ellie will be happier as one of us." Little Vampire replied as Michel just threw both his arms up in frustration.
Little Vampire smirked in victory before spotting Ellie coming down the street. "Ellie!" Little Vampire called out; the young girl briefly froze then turned around to run away only for her to end up being caught by Fantomate.
"Put me down!" Ellie shouted in anger, Fantomate really wanted to do as she said, but he knew that Little Vampire wanted to talk to Ellie, so he had no choice but to help his vampire friend out by catching the girl for him.
"I know a way to heal your heart!" Little Vampire said happily, he saw that Ellie was struggling to get away. "You can't help me! No one can!" Ellie responded in anger; everyone came outside just to see what was going on.
"Yes, I can." Little Vampire told her, Ellie then looked into Little Vampire's eyes and saw that he was telling the truth and while she wanted to trust him, she just couldn't or else she'd only get hurt again as tears welled up.
Little Vampire looked into Ellie's eyes and saw that she believed him but knew that she couldn't just accept his help unless he proved that helping Ellie was really what he wanted, and he knew how to prove himself to her.
Pandora looked at both kids in concern as she noticed that both of them needed to know just what it was that the other was feeling so she started up some music to help the two express themselves in a way that'd help.

At the end of the song, both Ellie and Little Vampire got a whole new perspective on how the other was feeling when it came it wanting to help and asking for help since neither one felt like they belonged anywhere.
For Ellie it was like she didn't belong with happy people while Little Vampire felt he couldn't belong with the humans which led to both of the kids seeking the other out as they wanted to belong with other people now.
The two stared at each other while Michel and the other monsters watched them. "Do you really think your idea will heal my heart?" Ellie asked Little Vampire, he nodded back silently as Ellie took some deep breaths.
"I'll...I'll give it a try." Ellie said hesitantly, Pandora and the Captain were surprised to hear this. "Are you sure? There's no going back once you have changed." The Captain of the Dead warned the young human girl.
Little Vampire and his family looked at Ellie awaiting her response. "I'm sure." Ellie replied bravely, she then marched down to where the Captain's ship was waiting for her just as her monster friends followed her too.
Everyone watched Ellie with bated breath as she stepped onto the gangplank then walked onto the lower deck of the ship where a dark purple mist began to rise and covered Ellie as she started to change from human.
Ellie's hair stayed the same black color, but her skin turned ash grey, and her canines got sharper while her outfit stayed the same as she'd worn it on Halloween night only now the monsters knew Ellie had changed.
Little Vampire and his family watched as the purple mist vanished leaving behind a new vampire in its place. "Ellie?" Michel asked in worry, Ellie opened her eyes and saw that she had only changed a little but not a lot.
"Did it work?" Ellie asked Pandora and the Captain, the two adults nodded in response. "Now what?" Ellie asked them both as she started to float up. "We'll get your stuff and bring it back here." Claude answered Ellie.
Once the five of them left, Fantomate and the three kids stayed together. "Will this really help Ellie?" Michel asked Fantomate, he looked at her and Little Vampire as they flew around the house playing together now.
"We'll see." Fantomate said with a sigh, but it turns out that they had nothing to worry about ever since the transformation first started to when it ended, Ellie felt like she'd finally found out where she truly belonged.
Ellie could feel her heart start to heal as she realized that being human was what had caused the hurt that her parents had inflicted onto her, but now that she was a vampire, things would finally be better for her again.
Little Vampire knew that he and his family would always be there for Ellie now that she was a vampire just like him, and he couldn't wait to have so many new adventures with her and one day Michel once he changed.
But Michel's transformation wouldn't happen for a long time, so for now the three kids could have adventures together but only if Pandora and the Captain came along in order to supervise the trio of best friends as well.

I know this was a short story, but it was also just for fun.
