Steve woke up from the guest bed, Dogmeat was sleeping at the end of the bed. "Good morning Dogmeat." Steve said as he patted his oldest friend. Steve and Dogmeat left the guest room and headed to the living room where Spike was. "You're already up." Steve said, surprised. "Yeah, I was walking around town and something suspicious is going on, there were a bunch of royal army soldiers scouting around the marketplace and the housing area." Spike said. "Hopefully this has nothing to do with Hiro." Steve thoughted. "Oh, I also forgot to tell you last night that the reason I moved here was because I believe the Black Hand is somehow involved with this city." Spike said. Spike saying Black hand made Steve flashback to Kvatch and Solstice. "Black hand? What are they doing here?" Steve asked. "I'm not sure but I'm going to find out." Spike said. "Well, I need to find my friend so let's do both, you'll look for the Black Hand and I'll look for Hiro." Steve said.
—-meanwhile on the streets of Yorknew—-
"Stupid thief does he think he can just commit crime in our city!?" Terra pouted. "Calm down, save that anger for when we find him." Rickert said. Terra, RIckert, and Callahan along with a couple of guardsmen were walking around the marketplace looking for the thief and clues. "It's been a long time since I've seen any action. Everyone knows the reputation of the guardsmen in Yorknew so no one who values their life would even try to commit crime. Whoever this thief is, he must be someone truly special or a fool." Callahan said grinning. Callahan had given Yorknew guardsmen their famous reputation, he had a Genkai, one of the strongest in all of Craftia, he was so strong in fact people wondered why he was a guardsman instead of a squadron leader in the Royal army. As the guardsmen of Yorknew were looking for Hiro, Griffin, Sadin, a couple of Royal army soldiers stood on the outskirts of Yorknew. "That warehouse looks suspicious." Sadin said. "I can sense strong energy coming from the warehouse,'' Griffin said. "You two explore the warehouse." Griffin said, pointing at two royal soldiers. "Yes sir!" The two soldiers said. As they got closer to the warehouse something started to happen. The ground underneath the soldiers started to break open as zombies and skeletons started to rise from the ground. "What the-" one soldier said as the mobs rose. "Stay close together!" The other soldier shouted. The royal soldiers did well against the mobs, but the mobs kept coming out of the ground, eventually the soldiers fell to the mobs. After the soldiers died the mobs began to burn up and die. Griffin was making observations, "It seems as once you get close enough to the warehouse you are trapped in some magic cloaks and mobs are endlessly spawned until you die." Griffin said. "So, what do we do?" Sadin asked. "We'll report back to Callahan and move from there." Griffin said. Griffin and his soldiers retreated to the marketplace.
—-inside of the warehouse—-
"Damn..." Solstice said. "What's wrong?" Darrius asked. "Some Royal guards tried to enter the warehouse of course they were dealt with but royal soldiers even being here spells bad news." Solstice said. "What should we do?" Darrius said, trying to act interested. "Hmmm, Kenzo go fetch Hiro we might need more manpower for tonight, don't use your wings though find him another locate Hiro." Solstice said. Kenzo stood up from the box he was sitting on, "Alright I'll be back."
