Chapter 5

Loki entered the room after Thor slammed the door and stomped out of the room. not even looking at him as if he knew better. Kagome drifted out looking angry her eyes were going back to their beautiful pink and red eyes. As her demonic markings going back to normal. As she stated at him and shrugged. Loki sighed and he opened his arms as she rushed over to him as she needed his embrace. She was sniffling against his clothing. She was not thrilled on how she had to handle Thor, but she didn't have no choice in the matter. It was as if she had to be harsh with him to make him understand what he wanted to do was wrong. And Odin was trying to not encourage Thor thoughts. but it was Odin issue since he made Thor into what he was. A man who gets a fucking boner from battle and blood. And Odin don't wish to see what he had done to his eldest son. She has spoken to him about this. But he never listens to her what and why Thor acted the way he does. And Loki acted more like a king than Thor ever will be.

"Well, that went well. I could try my best and convince father to postpone things again. But he writes me off as the jealous younger brother and refused to listen to me." Said Loki

"My beloved Loki. If he is really a good king. if he learned to just to fucking listen. I know how much he loves Asgard. And all of us as well. but being for shit for brains. But he does want to do what is for the best. Even though he is wrong in his thinking," said Kagome

Loki sighed tilted her face up meeting her gem like orbs he loved so well. and he felt breathless at the depth of sincerity in them. no flickers or swirl of anger left in them now. He knew she was trying to do what was best in speaking what she truly believed. That is why he thought she would be a true queen to his heart when it came down to who sure rule Asgard. But he saw the endless love and honesty in those beautiful pin and red orbs. Kagome wondered what she should do about Thor. She was lost for what she should do next. No one would stop him since they think this was the right thing. And stupid Odin didn't want to see what is right in front of him. the son who he raised to be the way he thoughts. and that pissed her off to no ends. She just wanted to knock it into Odin brains to show him what he was not seeing right in front of him.

"Remember what you told me before my love. Were in this together. I will never let any harm come to you. no matter what. My jewel of my heart and soul. "said Loki

"Thank you Loki I love you forever." Said Kagome

Kagome sighed and the faintest hint of rose bloomed across the bridge of her nose. Even how old she is and how very long she lived. She still felt like that teenager when she first fell down the well in her family back yard. And she wordlessly rested her cheek back over his heart. Closing her eyes and with a tired sigh it made her feel how old she really is. she told him once that she loved listening to his heart. it showed proof of his life. While he scratched her scalp and felt some of her tension wither away. Loki heard the servants begin the family dining hall for the next meal. Which meant another family table meeting about the up coming coronation. The last few had been wrought with tension since Thor had his ass handed to him by his beloved. And their Odin how to handle a slight from another kingdom. Odin wanted to maintain peace at all costs. Thor wanted to set an example. It had all been a how shit mess ever since. And it was made ever clearer to Loki that he never truly had his father respect. As any and every suggestion that Thor was not ready was shut down instantly. But for Loki determination hardened his heart. Something must need to be done. And soon. He would make his father see the truth in their words. And he would prove himself finally. And he would keep them safe from his stupid shit for brains brother. And keep his jewel of his heart save. Something must be done and fast.

Meanwhile the following day

Kagome sighed and flickered a glace to the seat next to hers and her nerves strained further. Loki huffed and sat upright with a serene face and proper posture. But his own restlessness and agitation swirled around her like a thick fog. The only outward sign of his anger and upset was the way he lightly traced patterns on her leg. Occasionally tapping out his annoyance before returning his tracing. Kagome eyes roved over her beloved emerald of her heart and soul. She slowly smiled softly when he looked over to her. and caught her looking. And lifted one of her hands and pressed a kiss to it. then he retuned back to his fidgeting, and she tried to turn her attention back to the meeting they were in. even annoying and boring and stupid I may be. Odin stood in front of a very small crowd of officials and announced that his retirement was imminent. And that Thor would be taking over the throne. It was the first step into the process that would end with a large coronation. And was the point of Loki annoyance and anger and emotional issues right now.

Kagome she couldn't say she didn't understand what her beloved emerald of her soul was feeling right now. she knew them both very well. she had seen with her own eyes how Thor let his battle boner cloud his judgement and rational thinking. Diplomacy was not in his nature. It was something he struggled with badly and it was well known if you looked and pay attention. It was just something his intelligent has not learned to utilize before resorting to using said battle boner and Mjolnir. And Loki concerns continued to be brushed aside by their bather as a brother who is jealous of the other brother. Maybe they were. Just a tiny bit. But she could tell he was concerned. And so was she. Just not in the same way Loki was. Thor trusted them. and though he was a stubborn ass and a moron who brain resided in his fat ass. And very hardheaded. She was confident they could help steer him away from any stupid hair brained rash decisions that would prove to be stupid in the end.

But every time Odin was downplayed by Loki concerns. Or belittle and shit on his skills. Loki becomes harder and harder to bring back from his contentment. Kagome feared there had been too much damaged done by Odin blatant favoritism. Kagome sighed and shifted her focus to the bell of the ball. The priss and battle boner himself. Standing next to his father like he was kissing his ass so far that his face would be covered in shit if he goes and kiss it even further. While oozing confidence in his abilities in his place on the throne. In his love for his fucking kingdom in which he would doom. Kagome heart softened and that sting tearing and feeling came bac, the one she been battling for far to long. Because as much she understood her beloved emerald to her heart and soul. She not proud of her brother of her heart though. Thor was probably not even ready for this giant step. But he was overly excited. And Thor was cute as a kitten when he was excited. He bounded around like a hyper kitten, and she couldn't help but not still be happy for him. She just wished Odin would see the bad not seen such anger and discord. Could see the word of his second son. Kagome just wanted peace and harmony. Loki had grown in the shadows cast by people destined for greatness he even told he been destined for greatness. And then he was ignored after. She shook her head. Attempting to clear it of these awful thoughts that seemed to want to haunt her.

"Everything is going to be fine. Everything it going to be fine." Thought Kagome

Their meeting was finally over for lunch and mingling and beginning to prep for the official announcement to all Asgard and pretending to be thrilled and happy for Thor. Kagome could tell Loki was very much on edge. He hovered close. Always kept one of his hands on her. he refused any refreshments and every part of him screamed back the fuck off or else. Kagome rolled her eyes and put her glass down. Grabbed his hand and pulling him away from the small crowd of political and military folks. And the other gods who wish to kiss the soul king's daughter and the great dog general daughter ass. and the one who gave birth to lord death children. as she went out on one of the balconies on a wall facing the Bifrost. Loki looked out over the view of his home. Their home. And then into the well-known well-loved eyes of his beloved beautiful wife. And tried to find a measure of calm. After so long together he had begun to be able to feel when she was wrapping her soul around him to calm his own. She was doing it now. and it drained a good measure of his stress away. She turned and leaned against the balcony railing. and he stepped up close behind her and rested his chin on the top of her head.

Kagome was so soft so small he practically dwarfed her power frame with her height. But she was powerful. Dangerous little spit fire when she wanted to be. And damn it turned him on. and she been just about his only tether to sanity lately. She snuggled back into him, and he wrapped and arm around her shoulder. Breathing in the smell of her hair. The same one that had tickled his nose away every morning. For centuries now. it was something he loved with life his beloved gave him. something his brother would never learn to ever and experience when it came down to the life he lived. Thor only love is the boner he gets when he goes to fight in wars and battles. And then come back to fuck off said boner to whatever whore or female would want to offer herself to him. it was something woman thought was an honor. Kagome peered back at him and then intensity in her eyes and snared him.

"its going to be okay. You know that, right? Were going to be just okay. Were in this together my emerald of my heart and soul, always together," said Kagome

Loki regarded her silently for a few moments. Letting those words rattle around and settle in his thoughts and his mind. he pressed a kiss to the magenta crescent moon on her forehead something he loved deeply. And looked back out at the beautiful tableau of his home. The place he loved and loved his entered existence. And life. And he gently squeezed his beloved wife in his arms. There was a lot at stake now. And a lot to lose as well. he hoped she was right and correct. And sometimes she is right and correct in her words. He life showed her things that he couldn't even fathom to think she went through and suffered. But if only there was some way to know for sure. But he knew there was nothing that could show them that. and all they could do was do what they have been doing. and hope for them best. Even though it scared them both.

Meanwhile a month later

Loki with great care and caution. Loki snuck back into their bedroom to blessedly find his wife still sleeping peacefully. It was passed even mid-morning meal. Breakfast was wrapped up. not that he gone. and she was still splayed a crossed their silk sheets. Her pure silver and pink hair spread out like the sheets of silk he knew her hair to feel like. And a look of satisfied peace on her face. in which he was proud about since he was the one to put it there. Loki smirked a little at that. feeling very smug on top of his relief that the first part of his plan had worked. He needed her to be fast asleep so he could carry out his plans of great importance. And even beyond her inherent ability to see the intentions of others. Kagome was too damn smart and intelligent and very extremely insightful for her own good. She would not have let him leave this very room last night if she felt even the tiny bit of what he was thinking in his soul waves. He was not going to drug her so. since he knew it would not be good for him in the end if he even thought about doing something like that.

Loki slipped out of their room and transformed into something small and not be able to be detected to anyone that included his wife. And slipped away. He completed phase two by the start of the morning. Now it was phase three. This was going to be a very delicate thing from this moment on. and he would have to tread very carefully. Kagome would know if he had done something. And hopefully he could convince her it was a harmless prank between brothers and nothing more. And he knows demons could smell lies. He sat at the edge of their bed and brushed a stray tendril of hair from her face. her pink bangs. As he gazed lovingly at her sleeping soft face. trying to calm his thoughts and even breaths. Truthfully, he felt a little guilty that he was trying to trick her as well as everyone else.

But it had to be this way. she would see that soon enough. They all would see that. he looked out the window again. It was creeping closer to the afternoon. And if he didn't get his beloved up soon. She would be late for the festivities. And then she really was going to kill him and castrate him for a while and make sure he didn't get sex for a good while. As wary as she was about everything that was going on. she would not miss Thor coronation for anything in the world. he leaned down and brushed a soft kiss against her forehead. Her nose her mouth and until she stretched and groaned. Her eyes fluttered opened, and she stared blankly in the direction of his face until the sleep cleared from her vison. And then she glared coldly at him. and it was always bone chilling. And it always puts chills down his spine. He knows when its wife is angry with him.

There had to be some better reason husband, you're waking me up at a late hour. And it better fucking not to do anything inside of your fucking pants. That's the reason why I'm so fucking tired." Hissed Kagome

"A tempting though my beloved wife. I had only intended to wake you for the coronation. As it is almost noon. But if you don't get out of bed my love, I'll must assume your persistent laziness is and invitation and then we will both miss it." purred Loki

Kagome narrowed her eyes and slapped him across the face. Loki knew better to be like this when she is in a mood. As she was up in a flash after punching him in the balls. While she couldn't believe he let her sleep in so late. And that she is furious with him. but she would even be more pissed off at him if she figured out what he really did and why he let her sleep in. as the bathing rooms door slammed shut behind her while she grumbled things about husbands being stupid assholes and thinking with their dicks. Loki snickered oh how much he loved that woman. And she turned him on when she was angry as well. she was sexy as hell when she was angry. While he still hears her muttering about him in the baths. He sighed and hoped she didn't figure out his plans. And hoped they would follow through. But then again there was so much that needed to be done.

Meanwhile a little while later

Aside from Thor and Loki was the first to arrive in the small waiting chamber. Kagome had shooed him on as she was not quite ready yet. And truthfully the less time he spends in her presence the less likely she would be to grow suspicious of him. so, he was hoping when she here she wouldn't even figure it was him who had done something. Or Thor. But then again Thor was not the brightest one out there. And it sadly might be nice to have a few moments with his moron of a brother. No matter what the uncertainties the last months had wrought. He still loved his brother with his whole heart. But he didn't what his brother to be the end of them all. since his brother had the boner for battle and fighting. So this was something that he must do.

"Loki!" chirped Thor

"Hello brother, big day huh?" asked Loki

"Why yes it indeed is little brother. Where is Kagome?" asked Thor

"She is still getting ready. She slept in.," said Loki

Loki was looking smug after he said what he had said. Even though he was trying to hide what he really did while she slept. Even though Thor was not bright enough to know what he had done. Even though his wife was a different story. He knew she was probably still pissed off at him. even though he has no clue what she would think if she figured out what he had done. Thor arched a brow and wondered why his beloved sister he loved more than anything. He wondered why she was not at the morning meal like always. He looked at the smug look on Loki face. and sighed it would seem his brother wore out Kagome from nightly things. Even though he was proud of his brother for doing something like that with his wife. But he wished not to think of such things with a sister. but for now, he was going to let that one slide. And continue with the conversation.

"Ah yes and since you also missed breakfast, I assumed you sleep in late as well. celebrating early, I see!" joked Thor

"Well, yes something like that. listen Thor. I am very proud of you. and I love you. I am envious of you sometimes. But I am truly very proud of you brother." Said Loki

Thor smiled and tugged Loki forwards for a brief manly brotherly hug. And then his mother and Kagome arrived. Loki stepped aside after feeing his wife tap his shoulder. And Kagome stepped into Thor embrace. Laughing and spinning her around. Kagome meant the world to Thor. Then Frigga kissed brother of her children. and then it was time to start. Sif and the warrior three were already there. And already in place. When Loki stepped through the doors with his mother on one arm and his wife on the other arm. The crowd cheered and applauded. Always happy to see the royal family even though they weren't the stars of the show today. Kagome had come so far since her first nervous days here in the public. Gone was her timidity and reluctance to be seen since it was a whole different royal scene than what she grew up and was around.

Kagome smiled and waved proudly. Her grace and love and selflessness and strength and extreme power had won her great many followers in her long life she has been living here. And she always treated them all with great love and care and kindness. Loki mother was most beloved of course. And he felt a great measure of pride to escort two of the strongest women on Asgard on each arm. Even though Kagome was the more powerful one. They reached the end of the procession aisle and took their places on the throne stairs. And watched thor enter and work the crowd with all of his pride. Happiness and charisma. The next minutes were a blur of nerves. Happiness and anxious antinpation. Thor swearing in was watch breathlessly by all. even kagome. Who seemed too distracted to feel loki internal unrest and something else she was not able to figure out. as he waited for his well planned interruption. And then just as odin was about to announce the new king of asgard chaos struck,

"FROST GIANTS!"

Time sped forwards quickly, as the crowd turned to disperse from the attack that somehow happened when it was Thor coronation. And Loki was inside smirking even though he was hoping no one would figure it was him who was the one to invite the unwanted guest. Even though it would show their father that Thor was not fit to be king. because Thor would attack and kill them all since it was programed in his brain and not even sure how that was even there. But for now, it was time for him to set his plan into motion. He just needed to get Kagome and his mother out of the area so they would not figure out what had just happened when it came down to him was being the one who was the reason why the frost giants were even there. While Kagome eyes was wide in shock and wondered what the fuck had happened. and why would they decide to attack now. and wondered why they would wish to attack now. Loki turned to push Kagome into his mothers' arms.

"Mother take her with you and get the hell out of here." Ordered Loki

"Very well son. But be careful," said Frigga

"WAIT WHAT?" cried Kagome

Loki watched for several seconds as his mother pulled the loudly complaining Kagome out of the room and as far away from the danger. He was going to regret that one later when he goes and see his wife. He wondered if she has figure it was him who was the reason why the frost giants were there. But loki was worried for his beloved jewel of his heart and soul. And her safety was always the first thing that he would always put before his own. No matter how pissed off and angry she would be at him. she would withhold sex as well. but at least she would be safe. And that gives him peace of mind when it came down to what was about to happen. while he followed his brother and father to the underground storage chamber and readied himself to begin phase four of his plan. And hoped it was all worth it in the end so their father would see what thor would do in something like this. And what thor would do to end something like this. And what he would do as a king.
