Didn't come out as funny as I'd like.

"I dare ya!"
"No way!"
Dahk wagged her finger at me. "CHICKEN."
"I am not!" I squeaked as I shoved my hands in the pockets of my overalls.
"Then do it!" She stuck her tongue out at me. "I double-dog dare ya…"
I sucked in a deep breath. It was a double dog dare, I couldn't back out now. I pushed a heavy box over to the counter so I could step on it. I climbed up onto the counter, with Dahk as a look out. The metal was cold to touch. Probably because of the icecream under the surface. I used all my strength to pry open one of the doors.
"Jackpot!" Dahk said. Her head didn't reach the top of the counter.
"I can't reach it." I whined. The ice cream was vanilla with cookie bits. My favorite.
"Grab the side and lean in." Dahk suggested.
So I did. The sides were slippery. My hand slipped off the side and I plunged headfirst in the ice cream.
"Mohkkke!"
"Danny!"
I struggled, but couldn't get out. It was hard to breathe.
"Eat your way out!"
"Mopjjhi?"
"Do it!"
So I did. My brain hurt. I think icicles grew in my head. But I managed to get enough eaten to lift myself out.
"I feel sick."
"Yeah, but that was so cool. I wish I'd done that."
"DANIELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Busted!" Dahk yelled and ran into the back. Dad and Mom burst in to the empty ice cream shop with the looks on their faces.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING YOUNG LADY!?"
"Dahk dared me!"

Three cavities. I sat forlornly in the dentist chair, tapping my shoes together.
Dahk poked her head into the room.
"Hey." She said guiltily.
"Hi!" I brightened.
"I'm sorry we got in trouble."
"We do it all the time."
"True!" She brightened.
"So what do you wanna do now?"
"Lets play in the field when we get back!"
"Okay!"
We giggled together.

Yeah, As I said, not quite as funny as I'd like. But still funny.
