Jaune and Pikachu found themselves surrounded by a bunch of Team Rocket grunts. All present members of Team rocket looking like they wanted to tear the two of them apart!
"How on Remnant did I get myself into this mess?"Jaune asked himself, remembering how he got into this mess in the first place!
[Flashback]
Jaune and Pikachu were making their way to Celadon City to take on the Celadon City Gym leader, Erika.
But Jaune decided to stop for a bit to do some training with the pokémon he decided to do use in his gym battle against Erika and her grass type Pokemon.
"Okay, so the Pokemon I'll use will be Pidgeotto, Charmander, and Beedrill."said Jaune, as Pikachu was shocked that he was not going to be used in the battle.
"Pika pi."said a shocked Pikachu.
"Sorry buddy but electric type Pokemon are not good against grass type Pokemon. I don't doubt that you can get us the win but I feel more confident leaving our victory up to Pidgeotto and the others."said Jaune, knowing that the others needed a chance to shine as he couldn't be too reliant on Pikachu.
"Pika Pika chu chu."said Pikachu, who appear to understand the situation and seemed to accept it regardingly.
"Hey, there he is!"shouted someone, getting Jaune's attention as he turned to see that he found himself being surrounded by a bunch of members of Team Rocket
"What is this?!"Jaune asked himself as he wondered how so many members of Team Rocket managed to get the drop on him.
"Your the Pokemon trainer that has been messing with our operations lately and now our bosses think we're useless!"shouted one of the grunts.
"Now we're going to get paid back on you so we can look our boss in the eye!"said another grunt.
"I'm surprised one of the admins, nor Butch, nor Cassidy are with you."said Jaune, as he would have expected one of the leaders of Team Rocket to be present for this.
"We don't need the help of our leaders!"shouted one of the grunts.
"Yeah, we can defeat a single Pokemon trainer ourselves if we just team up on you!"shouted a female grunt.
[Flashback End]
"How on Remnant did you guys track me down! I thought I was being ignored by you!"said Jaune, has dealing with this many people was going to be a pain!
"We spotted you as we were planning our operation in Saffron City. Now we will defeat you and our boss will congratulate us!"shouted one of the grunts.
"Hold it!"shouted someone as Jaune turn to see a woman riding some kind of Blue reptilian like Pokemon.
Jaune quickly pulled out his Pokedex to identify the pokémon the woman was riding.
Pokedex: Lapras, the transport Pokemon. A gentile soul that can understand human speech. It can ferry people across the sea on its back.
"Who are you, lady!"shouted one of the grunts.
"Just someone who cannot stand bullies picking on a single trainer."said the woman that she jumped down, off of Lapras.
"I'll take on these three young men so you take on that one behind you."said the mysterious woman as she prepared to take on three members of Team Rocket.
"Don't think you'll beat me kid as I'm tough!"said the grunt as Jaune prepared for battle.
"Pikachu, I choose you!"shouted Jaune I speak at you jumped off of his shoulder and stood in front of him for battle.
"Raticate, come on out!"said the grunt as he called out a Raticate.
"So, a Pokemon similar to Cassidy's."said Jaune, figuring that this Raticate would be good practice if you ever met up with Cassidy's Raticate again!
"Raticate, use tackle;"ordered the Team Rocket grunt.
"Pikachu, dodge and use quick attack!"ordered Jaune, as Pikachu did what he was told and immediately avoided getting hit by tackle attack before countering with quick attack!
"Wha?"said the Team Rocket grunt, who was clearly confused by all of this.
"Now use thunderbolt!"ordered Jaune, as Pikachu quickly surrounded himself with electricity before firing a blast of electricity at the mouse Pokemon!
Raticate had no time to dodge as it was struck with the electric type move, causing a lot of damage!
"Raticate!"shouted the Team Rocket grunt!
"Now use double kick!"ordered Jaune, as Pikachu quickly ran up to the normal type Pokemon and struck it with the super effective fighting type move, knocking out Raticate.
"Raticate!"shouted the Team Rocket runs as he quickly recalled the pokémon back to its pokeball before fleeing.
Jaune meanwhile trying to go help the woman in her pokémon battle but to his surprise she had already defeated all three Pokemon called out by the Team Rocket grunts.
"She is so strong!"
"How can someone command such powerful ice type Pokemon?"
"Who are you?"shouted one of the grunts from all the commotion.
"I'm Lorelei of the elite four."said Lorelei, identifying herself as one of the strongest Pokemon trainers in all of Kanto.
"Elite four! We're out of here!"shouted the Team Rocket grunts as they began running away as fast as they could, with their knocked out Pokemon in tow.
"So you're one of the elite four?"asked Jaune, as he couldn't believe one of the strongest trainers in all of Kanto came to his aid.
"I just can't stand people who gang up on others just to settle some old school. Pokemon battles are supposed to be about Fair sportsmanship but some people just don't understand that concept."said Lorelei with a disappointed sigh.
"Yeah..."said Jaune.
"You must be taking part in the Indigo League seeing as how you're quite strong, young man. I would have never imagined such a fast Pikachu to be around."said Lorelei, making Pikachu blush.
"Well... I heard that the champion is willing to take on all competitors all this year and will finally reveal his or her identity. So I thought this is my chance."said Jaune nervously.
"Ah, of course that's why you participated in the Indigo League. I must say I'm also curious as to who the champion is it's not even the elite four knows besides Lance. I know for a fact that the champion is quite strong and it's very difficult to beat him or her in a Pokemon battle. So I hope you know what you're getting yourself into as the champion is not the champion for nothing."said Lorelei as she jumped on Lapras.
"I hope We meet again, young man. What is your name by the way?"
"I'm Jaune Arc, and I'm going to be a Pokemon Master."said Jaune with no hesitation.
"I hope we meet again, Jaune Arc. As I have a feeling you're going to be something big soon. And my intuitions are always correct."said Lorelei as Lapras began swimming away.
"Man, that lady was crazy strong as I managed to see some of her battle with those Team Rocket grunts. Pikachu and I, along with the others are going to have to get a whole lot stronger if we hope to take her on, and we especially need to get strong if we ever hope to take on the champion."said Jaune, knowing that every one of his Pokemon and himself were going to have to level up!
But they still have time as next up with Celadon City! Where the gym leader Erika was waiting for them!
[After and encountered with Team Rocket, Jaune managed to get help from an unexpected individual. The individual being Lorelei of the elite four! Will Jaune Arc improve from this encounter? Only time will tell us the journey continues, as Jaune makes his way to Celadon City for his next gym battle]
