Carter's POV:

Once Carter had arrived back at Dana's hospital room he saw Captain mitchle just sitting there talking to his daughter. Carter didn't want to interrupt him so he just sat outside listening.

"Dana you should know that I know you and Carter are dating. Just so you know I am very happy for you two and carter is a very lucky guy to have you in his life sweetheart. I can tell from the way he looks at you that he definitely loves you, and that he would do anything to make you happy." He paused for a moment "Dana I have to go now but carter should be back any minute. I love you sweetheart." With that he left. When he exited he saw carter just standing there with a smile on his face to show Captain that he heard what he said and appreciated every word.

When Carter came into Dana's room he saw her just lying perfectly still. So carter just grabbed her hand and sat down just staring at his beautiful girlfriend. After a few more hours Dana started to slowly wake up and this didn't go unnoticed by carter.

"Hey D how are you feeling" he gave her a worried look.

She slightly looked up at her boyfriend and managed to put a slight smile on before she started to slightly cry in pain. "My head, stomach and arm hurts like hell." She turned her head away from carter so he wouldn't see her cry.

carter didn't say anything but instead he took Dana carefully in his are and just hugged her while talking calmly.

"D did you want me to go and get Mrs fairweather for you so she can give you some pain medication." Dana just nodded into his chest then he carefully laid her back down so he can get Mrs Fairweather. Soon enough carter came back in with Mrs.F as well as Captain and Kelsey. They all gave her a very small hug trying not to cause her anymore pain.

after another week In the hospital room Dana was released to go back to her quarters with Kelsey but she had strict instructions to rest. She didn't like the idea of resting for another two weeks but carter hardly ever left her side unless it was a fight. Once Dana's ribs heals her and carter went on a date together but instead of going out carter thought that it would be easier on Dana if the just had a quiet night watching a movie in one of their rooms.

"Hey so how about I try and see if Kelsey can stay somewhere else tonight and we can have our date at my room."

"Yeah that sound good I will go and pick up some Chinese for dinner and I will meet you at your room around 7" Dana nodded and went to talk with Kelsey. Carter just looked at Dana with love in his eyes. "Tonight is the night that I tell her that I love her. I hope she loves me back." He said to himself.

Dana's POV:

As Dana searched to find Kelsey she bumped into someone going around the corner. It turned out to be Kelsey. But because her ribs where still healing when she was accidentally pushed to the ground she just laid there in pain for a moment before getting up.

"OMG Dana are you alright. I am so sorry I didn't see you there." Kelsey looked at her friend with worry in her eyes.

"Yeah I am ok just a little sore but it's ok" Dana replies still with pain in her eyes. "I was looking for you anyway."

"Ok. What's up."

"Well I was wondering if you could maybe stay with the guys for tonight or crash in one of the un used bedrooms so carter and I can have a night in?"

"Yeah sure. What time is your date?"

"Carter is going to be at ours around 7 but I still have to have a shower and get ready. Even though we are spending the night in I still want to look nice for carter." Kelsey nodded at her friend and helped her back to their room as she was still In Some pain after the small clash from crashing into Kelsey.

It was almost 7 and Dana had gotten her room reddit for carter to arrive. She was now just sitting on the couch just holding her stomach because she was still in a little pain only after just taking some pain relief medication that she was given. After a few more minutes then carter came threw the door and sat the food on the table. He then leaned down to give his girlfriend a kiss. When I leaned back up he could tell that his girlfriend was in pain and gave her a worried look.

"Hey D what's wrong are you ok."

"Yeah I just bumped into kels and got knocked to the ground by accident. My stomach has just been a little sore since then but I just took pain medication so I will be alright." She gave carter a reassuring look and gave him a smile.

while eating their dinner carter looked like he was lost in thought.

"Hey are you ok. What are you thinking about?"

"Well I wanted to tell you something but I can't find a way to say what I need to say." Carter looked down at his plate. Dana started to get worried.

"Your not going to break up with me are you?" She asked very concerned

"What. No of course not. In fact I wanted to tell you the opposite of that" Dana looked at him with a smile on her face almost knowing what he was going to say.

"Dana I wanted to have dinner with you tonight to say that... I um... I LOVE YOU!" He managed to blurt out. Dana didn't say anything but instead she got up out of her seat, walked over to carter and sat on his lap and started kissing him.

"Just incas you didn't realise that was my way of telling you that I love you as well." Carter nodded and they started kissing once again. Carter picked Dana up and walked over to her bed. He laid her down and got on top of her without breaking contact. He stopped kissing her and removed his shirt and threw it on the ground. Realising what he was doing Dana copied his action. Soon enough they where both in their underwear still having a gold old fashion make out session. Soon enough they both removed what was left of their clothes and had sex.

The next morning carter woke up to Dana staring at him with love in her eyes. "Damm Carter those were some impressive moves last night." Carter smirked at his girlfriend and Dana let out a little giggle. Carter leaned down and kissed Dana. They stayed in bed cuddling for a little while longer until Dana jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom and threw up. Carter quickly followed her and started rubbing her back.

" Hey are you ok. What happened."

"It must have been the food from last night. Plus my stomach can't hold much food down since the accident." She gave carter a reassuring smile. She got up off the ground and they both got dressed and ready for the day.

Carter's POV:

The couple joined the rest of their friends in the cafeteria for breakfast.

"Heyyyy. Did you two have fun last night?" Kelsey asked while winking at her friends. The couple didn't say anything but instead just smiled at each other. "Don't worry guys. Your secret is safe with us. We won't let Captain Mitchel know what happened" chad said to his friends and they all started laughing.

"Well I have to go and study for a test that I have coming up but I will see you all later." Dana said to everyone and then left the room.

"Hey carter is Dana alright. She looks a little pale and she didn't have anything for breakfast." Kelsey asked in concern.

"Yeah She should be alright soon but she was sick this morning probably food poisoning from last nights dinner." Kelsey looked at her friend with a suspicious look.

"Are you sure she isn't pregnant." Jole said and laughed a little. Carters eye widened from what jole said and with that he quickly rushed off to find Dana. The group looked at each other the all at the same time they said "Oh SHIT!!!"

Dana's POV:

as she left the group she went back to her room but instead of getting her text books out she ran into the bathroom and took a pregnancy test. Dana had kept these test in her bathroom ever since her and carter started dating. She waited 5 minutes for the results to come in. When her timer went off she flipped the test over to see the results. As soon as she saw what was on the stick she fell to the floor and started crying. The test was POSITIVE and she didn't know what to do about it. How would carter react. Will he leave her. She didn't know what to do so she just sat there crying into her hands

after a few moments Dana's door opened but she didn't hear. It was carter coming to talk to her but when he saw that she wasn't in her room he was about to leave but then heard crying coming from the bathroom and ran straight in to see if she was ok.

before Dana could even flinch when carter came in. He saw the pregnancy test of the floor and Dana sitting next to it crying her eyes out. Without a second thought coming into his mind he scooped Dana into a hug as she cried. Carter was so shocked about the news but he knew that he didn't want to get rid of the baby but he wasn't going to tell Dana that until she asks for his opinion.

After a while they got up off the bathroom floor and sat on Dana's bed.

"Carter what are we going to do about this." She looked at him with her red and puffy eyes

"Well... I know that don't want to get rid of the baby but the question is do you but just so you know I will support you no matter what you decide to do." Dana stayed quiet for a few minutes trying to decide what she wants to do.

"I want to have this baby carter and I want to raise it with you and we can be a family." She gave carter a smile while still crying

"Ok then that is what we will do. But there is one problem we have to discuss."

"What is it?"

" your dad is going to kill me when we tell him."

"I will make sure that doesn't happen." She gave him a smile then he kissed her on the head
