Sorry everyone! I have been having some health issues that made writing impossible. But I'm back and working on new chapters for you!

September ?, Time?, Year?

Julia

Her entire body ached, the immense pain seemed to have no exact origin. It instead felt as though it radiated from the center of her very being. As though she had been torn to shreds and sewn haphazardly back together. Even the simple act of opening her eyes took such immense effort she wondered if her eyelids had been sewn shut.

The sky above her was cloudy and dark, though no rain fell from the sky. The smoky air seemed to twist and turn, almost as though it was a sentient being. It reformed and danced above her weak body for a brief moment before swirling in the opposite direction.

A clicking noise caught her attention, and turning her head to the side, she saw a strange creature. It was large, its hairless form curled over something as it seemed to investigate. Its long limbs were an awkward length in comparison to its torso. It reached down with long clawed talons to tear at something that lay motionless on the rocky substrate. An object in torn white clothing. A man.

"H-henry!" Her voice was choked, her throat filled with dust as she attempted to force herself to her feet. Her knees gave out and she collapsed upon the sharp rocks, the jagged points digging into her bare knees. Her body screamed in protest as she reached out, her fist closing as she secured a barrier around the unconscious orderly.

The beast screeched as it clawed at the invisible barrier, seemingly frustrated that its meal had been taken from it. Turning to look at Julia, its face folded back like a flower opening its petal, revealing row after row of sharp white teeth. Bounding toward her, it raised a clawed hand to swipe at her.

Frozen, she was unable to move as it brought its claws down towards her face. The young woman had never seen such a horrifying creature before. She hadn't even known that something like this even existed. Her mouth fell open, a scream forming in her chest, however, what escaped was more akin to a strangled gasp.

A wall of dust seemed to flow between herself and the monster, a barricade forcing the creature backward as the sand wrapped itself around her still body. The smoke-like entity blocked out her sight as the creature let out a blood-curdling screech. The wind in her ears increased until all other sounds had been drowned out. The pressure against her skin was gentle, almost soothing, as the dust swirled around her.

When it finally dispelled, the creature was gone. The floating sand seemed to pour into a puddle on the ground, as though it was resting after expending energy. Julia reached her hand out to touch it, the fine material seemed to flow through her open hand. It reminded her of a cat rubbing itself against her as it curled between her open fingers. "Thank you for saving me," Her voice was quiet as she gently patted the swirling sand.

Turning her attention towards the unconscious blond, she hurried towards his side. The creature had torn through his shirt and cleft several deep gashes in his exposed chest. His face was pale as she placed her hands on his chest. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as the beat of his heart thumped against the palm of her hands.

Closing her eyes, she focused her energy on sealing his wounds. A sheen of sweat beaded on his forehead as the pain rocked through her body. He had several broken bones that coincided with a fall injury, as though he had tumbled from a great distance. His head pulsed from a severe concussion and his back was scraped and bruised.

The dust seemed to wrap around her shoulders as she worked, as a tendril brushed against her cheek she realized she was crying. Her body shook with ragged sobs as she forced her energy into Henry's body. To her surprise, she found herself wanting to wake up in her bed at the lab. All of this being a terrible nightmare.

However, as her nose dripped blood and her head began to throb behind her eyes, she knew that this wasn't a dream. Eleven had killed everyone in the lab and then attempted to kill Henry and herself. She still remembered Two's empty eyesockets as he stared unseeing at her. Julia had never even gotten the chance to thank him for saving her.

This place, wherever she was, was far from home. There appeared to be nothing except rocks and mountainous terrain for miles. The red sky was dull and cloudy as flashes of lightning struck every couple of minutes. In the distance she could see more of those creatures milling around, seemingly unaware of her presence.

Henry groaned, his blue eyes flickering open as she closed the last of his wounds. "Julia?"

"Yes, I'm here." The young woman curled into his side, her head resting on his shoulder. She was careful not to jostle him, it seemed as though both of them had fallen a great distance.

His eyes seemed to soften as he reached up to tangle a hand in her red locks, "What is this place?"

"I'm not sure," Her voice cracked as she began to sob into his torn shirt. "There was this… monster." Her face turned up to look at him. "I thought it had killed you."

Sitting up with a wince, he pulled her into his lap. His hands ran soothingly over her bruised form. The dust that had gathered on her skin seemed to pulse at his touch, almost like a warning. "Perhaps this place will be our salvation, Julia."

Her expression was confused as she tilted her head back to look at him. Her face was covered in dirt and dried blood, and her hair was knotted with tangles. However, in the red glow of the stormy sky, she had never looked more beautiful. "This place feels like purgatory."

"This place will be our new beginning Julia." His thumb lightly brushed against her cheekbone, and he took pleasure from the way she shivered under his touch. "We can reshape this empty plane into whatever we see fit."

"But my mother…" She trailed off, her green eyes filling with tears. "She's still looking for me."

"She couldn't protect you," His arm hooked under the back of her knees as he stood, "I can."

"It wasn't her fault," Her head shook, her arms looping around his neck as he carried her. "I should have hidden my powers, I should have been more careful."

"You won't have to hide here," His lips curved up in an excited smile, "Look around us, there are no walls to hold us prisoner, no doctors to punish us for misbehaving. We are free."

Leaning down, he pressed his lips to hers, swallowing her startled gasp. Her skin was warm against his as he set her down on the edge of a nearby boulder. His hands moved to cup her face, as he pressed his hips in between her spread thighs. Though he knew that this desire of his was incredibly human, he couldn't help but want to possess all of her. Finally, there would be no one to interrupt, no one to stop him from taking what he wanted.

His fingertips moved up the bare skin of her thighs as he ran his tongue along her bottom lip. She tasted of blood and sweat, but the underlying sweetness of her was still present. He found himself desperate to have more of her, to taste more of her. Angling her jaw upward, he pushed his tongue between her lips. Her soft moan incited him further as he rubbed his tongue against her own.

"Wait…" She was out of breath when she finally pulled away. He nearly groaned in displeasure at her distance. Her forehead resting against his own, she seemed a bit embarrassed, "I'm filthy, I want to find a place to rinse off."

"Alright," He turned around, kneeling down. "Let me carry you."

Her face flushed red as she pulled herself from the rock, wincing as the rocky dirt dug into the pads of her feet. "I can walk."

"You have no shoes," His lips curled up in a smile as he gestured towards her bare feet. "You'll only hurt yourself."

Climbing onto his back, she looped her arms around his neck. His hands cupped her bare thighs as he walked forward. Though he was angry at Eleven for betraying him, he was grateful to not be alone in this empty place. Julia would prove quite useful in creating a new world, a world where they were free to show their superiority.

Henry would get his revenge, that much he knew. And when he did, Eleven would regret not coming with them. He would make her watch as the two of them reinvented the world.

It took them a while to find any source of water, this land appeared to be quite barren. Henry's energy flowed against her own as she rested against his back. The endless mountains and stormy sky filled her with an immense sense of dread, as though they did not belong here. This place was not meant for humans, although she wasn't quite sure that Henry was truly human.

The blond seemed to be filled with great excitement as he carried her forward. Eager, it appeared, to reshape this place into a new world. His thoughts were filled with anticipation as they openly flowed into her own. However, she could sense that there was something he was hiding from her. A firm barrier seemed to be keeping something just outside of her mental reach.

"There," He pointed towards a dip in the ground, a small pond visible just around a small hill. As they approached the overpowering scent of sulfur became evident. The water was crystal clear, so she had little worry about more of the vicious creatures hiding beneath the surface. However, she did worry that the pond would be toxic, this place seemed to be devoid of most lifeforms after all.

Setting her down gingerly, he carefully approached the steaming water. Working his way down the slight incline, he dipped his fingers into the warm water. "Is it safe?"

"I believe so," His hand dipped below the surface, swirling in the light blue water. "It doesn't appear to be caustic, however, we should probably find a source of drinking water as well."

Unbuttoning his torn shirt, he tossed it to the side. The smeared blood on his chest was a stark contrast to his pale skin. As he pulled his white undershirt over his head, she felt a blush rise to her cheeks. Julia had never seen Henry undressed before. Looking over his shoulder, his smile was a bit devious, "Are you coming, Julia?"

"You want to bathe together?" The blush on her face nearly rivaled the red of her hair as she shuffled her bare feet.

"It'll be safer if we are close to one another," He unbuckled his white slacks, letting them fall to the ground in a heap. Unsurprisingly, his undergarments were also a bright white. "I won't be able to protect you if you are so far away."

Reaching behind her neck, she fiddled with the tie that kept the hospital gown on her. Tugging on it, she found that it had been knotted tightly, preventing her from loosing it. It seemed the more she pulled on it, the tighter it became.

"Here, let me help." Henry approached, noticing her silent struggle with the tie. His hands brushed her neck as his fingers deftly undid the knot. His hands continued down, making quick work of the others. The bruising on her spine was barely visible as her body attempted to heal her wounds.

"T-thank you," Her voice shook as she pulled the gown from her body. Though he had seen her in her undergarments before, she felt more revealed this time. Something about the way his hands lingered on her hips made her feel exposed. Walking towards the steaming water, she could hear his quiet footsteps as he followed behind her.

The heat of the water was almost uncomfortably warm as she stepped into the pond. It was a bit deeper than it had appeared and quickly lapped against her hips as she walked forward. The sand was soft under her bare feet, a welcome difference from the rocky substrate that bit into the sensitive pads of her feet.

Scrubbing at her dirty skin, she felt Henry approach from behind. The warmth of his chest pressed against her back as he steered them slightly deeper into the water. When it came up above the swell of her breasts, he turned her around gently. His blue eyes were sharp as he stared down at her heart-shaped face.

"Can I help?" His voice had a slight gravel to its tone that made her shiver. An agonizing heat dripped down her form to pool between her hips.

Not trusting herself to speak, she nodded stiffly. Placing her hands against the bare skin of his chest, she couldn't help but notice that despite being kept underground for so long he was surprisingly toned. Her throat felt tight as she swallowed thickly, her energy pouring into his form subconsciously.

Henry was careful as he ran his hands through her tangled hair, using his fingers to gently pull out any knots he encountered. The tips of his fingers attentively scrubbed her scalp as he tilted her chin back to run his palm along the skin of her throat. After everything that had happened, she found herself surprised to see him with such a docile expression on his face.

Julia seemed unsure as she reached out to wipe the blood from his clavicle, rinsing the evidence of his injury away. This closely she could see the scars of past electrical burns that covered his throat and shoulders. Memories of punishments at the hand of her Father.

Stroking the skin softly, she leaned up to press her lips to the base of his throat. She wished she had the ability to remove scars from his flesh, however, they were already healed. Without physically reopening the wounds, they would continue to mar his skin.

Henry groaned softly in response as she pressed kisses to his neck and chest. Her hands reaching up to curl in his blond locks, she tugged him down into a fervent kiss. Her lips were eager against his own as she pulled him against herself in a tight embrace.

His hands gripping the back of her thighs, he hooked her legs around his hips. Grinding softly against her, he walked forward until he found a rocky ledge to set her on. Though the bumpy surface dug into the sensitive skin of her bottom, she found herself unable to care. His fingers tugging down her panties was distraction enough as he deepened the kiss between them.

The warm water felt incredible against her swollen arousal as he reached down to lightly stroke her. Throwing her head back, Julia let out a loud moan as he touched her. Her hips eagerly jerked forward to meet his hand.

"Julia…" His groan was guttural as he leaned down to rest his forehead against her shoulder. His breath was coming out in pants and she was struck by the realization that she had never seen him look so out of control. He was normally so decisive, so impassive. And yet here he was, moaning her name as he pressed kisses to her clavicle.

"Can I touch you?" Julia hated how shy she sounded, as though she was unsure of what to do. She had read plenty of medical books, as well as some romance novels, and had a pretty good idea of what sex entailed. She was an adult after all, though she knew that growing up in the lab had given her a sheltered childhood. At the moment she was incredibly grateful to Diane for giving her a much more in-depth sex ed course.

"Of course," His grin was clandestine as he guided her hand down to touch him through his wet briefs.

Upside Down

Henry

Though he understood what the act of sex was, a necessary part of reproduction, he had never chosen to partake in the activity. Not even when Diane had invited him to meet her in the infirmary after hours, nor when the other orderlies had offered to bring him a filthy magazine to quell his urges. Though the temptation was intriguing, he refused to dive into his base desires. Doing so would mean that he was as controlled by the script that had been handed to him as the rest of humanity.

As such he had refused all offers, though he did self-indulge occasionally. It was nearly impossible to ignore the heat that would overcome him whenever he pictured the young woman before him. In their recent time apart, he had found himself picturing her bare and begging.

At times he wondered if she was an unnecessary distraction from his plans. A weakness that could be exploited. However, when she rushed forward to shield him from Eleven's attack, he saw that she was incredibly powerful. Though her tired body had failed under the pressure, she managed to create a barrier that protected them as they fell through the portal to this strange world.

As his hands reached behind her back to unclasp her brassiere, he was struck with the realization that she was the one person he was willing to protect. He had considered the fact that she might perish in his war, however, the thought brought him no pleasure. Perhaps if he kept her locked away then she would be untouched by the disease that was humanity.

Her soft moans distracted him from his internal monologue, her soft hands reached down to stroke him amorously. He had to force himself to hold still under her touch as she rubbed him through the wet material of his briefs. Her green eyes looked up at him, a shade darker than normal as she threaded a hand into his hair. Tugging at his roots softly, she signaled that she wished to kiss him.

Leaning down with a smirk on his face, he pressed his lips to hers eagerly.
