The next day Pikachu was getting ready to apologize to Buneary. Pikachu was very nervous about this.

"I-I'm still n-not s-sure about this." Pikachu nervously stutters.

"Don't worry Pikachu, you'll be fine." Piplup said.

"He's right though." Dedenne said.

"Yeah! We have your back buddy." Charizard said.

Pikachu smiles. "Thanks guys you're all the best."

They nodded and Pikachu went to see Buneary.

Once Pikachu made it to the slide doors, he was encountered by the girls (except Snivy).

"What are you doing, Pikajerk?!" Pachirisu said angrily.

"I'm….. going to see Buneary." Pikachu nervously said.

"How do we know if you're not going to yell at her again?" Glaceon said angrily.

Pikachu started to get annoyed. "I'm not. I'm just here to apologize for my actions five days ago. That's all."

"Alright then. You can go inside, but if you do anything to her I'm going to body slam you!" Bayleef said angrily.

Pikachu walks past them nervously and he was even afraid of Bayleef threatening him.

As he went inside, he found Buneary sleeping on the couch. Uh? She honestly looks cute when she's sleeping...Wait, did I just call Buneary 'cute'? Nevermind, this moment here is more important. Pikachu thought.

He approached her slowly, got up to the couch and shook her gently to wake her up. "Wake up Buneary." Pikachu said quietly.

Buneary started to wake up. As she opens her eyes she sees Pikachu.

"Hey." Pikachu said nervously, waving his paw to Buneary.

She made an angry face, and turned to the other side of the couch with a huff. "What are you doing here?" She said angrily.

"Well I think it's pretty obvious that I'm here to apologize." Pikachu said as he tried to humor her.

"Don't try to make me laugh." She angrily said again. "Why would you care about me anyway? I distracted you from battle. Why would you come to apologize to me?"

Pikachu sighed sadly. "Look Buneary, what I said to you was wrong. I was only angry because I lost my battle against Piplup. You know how I love to train and battle with my friends….."

This made Buneary very angry. Buneary started growling and yelled at him. "SO THAT'S WHY YOU WERE ANGRY AT ME?!" Her yelling made Pikachu tumble back in fear. "THAT WAS YOUR EXCUSE TO BE ANGRY?! ALL BECAUSE OF A STUPID BATTLE YOU LOST AGAINST PIPLUP?! WHEN ARE YOU EVER GOING TO REALIZE THAT THERE'S MORE IN LIFE THEN JUST TRAINING AND BATTLING?! YOU WOULD'VE SPENT MORE TIME WITH YOUR OTHER FRIENDS OR EVEN ME! YOU COULD'VE BEEN RELAXING, HAVE FUN, OR EVEN BE IN RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER POKÉMON! BUT I GUESS THAT MAKES SENSE, FOR YOU YELLED AT ME AND CALL ME HORRIBLE NAMES ALL BECAUSE OF A STUPID BATTLE YOU LOST!" Buneary turns away from Pikachu with her arms crossed with anger. She then starts to cry with tears falling from her eyes. "Or maybe I should be the one to apologize. Because I distracted you from battle. I wanted to get attention and ask you about something. But when you got angry at me for making you lose, I started to feel bad about it. I guess you have every right to yell at me. I also guess it makes another reason to hate me for that." She pulled her fluff over her face and started crying in it.

Pikachu started to calm down from Buneary's outburst. He feels even worse than ever from what Buneary said. And the fact he's feeling the same pain as he had yesterday. She's right. I shouldn't have yelled at her for that. But why would she think I hate her now. I could never hate her. He thought.

Pikachu went in front of Buneary who was still crying in her fluff. He slowly went up to her, he pulled her into a hug and started to stroke her soothingly as she continued to cry. "I'm really really sorry for yelling at you and for making you feel bad about yourself. I just really like to battle that's all. I guess I was just being a sore loser. Another thing, why would I hate you for that? You're funny, caring, nice, amazing, cute, sweet, and so on."

Buneary started to calm down. Does he really mean everything he said or is he just saying that? Does he really….. thinks I'm sweet and cute? Buneary then hugged back and nuzzled her head to Pikachu's neck causing him to blush. He then hugged her a little tighter making Buneary blush brighter. Pikachu's heart starts to beat and so is Buneary's heart.

They pulled back from each and started to look at each other's eyes. Buneary starts to look away shyly, tapping her paws together.

Pikachu started to remember something. "Oh yeah. There's something I want to tell you so I can make it up to you."

Buneary turns to Pikachu and tilts her head. "What is it Pikachu?"

Pikachu hesitated to say something but managed to say what he's going to say. "You know the party is coming tomorrow right?" Buneary nodded. "Well I was thinking…..if you….. want to go to the party with me tomorrow?" Pikachu stutters.

Buneary gasped in surprise by this. Because he was basically asking her out to the party tomorrow. This made her blush. Did Pikachu really….. just asked me out? Like a date? She thought.

Pikachu was waiting for an answer from Buneary. "So what do you say Buneary?"

Buneary tries to answer the question but couldn't due to her speechlessness. But she instead nodded.

"Is that a yes?" Pikachu questioned.

Buneary nodded and managed to say something. "Yes."

Pikachu smiles. "Well that's good."

Buneary nodded. They get off the couch. She turns to go to another room but stops where she's at and then turns around to Pikachu. She starts to hop towards him and gives a quick kiss on cheek and hops away to the bathroom.

Pikachu stood there blushing from what just happened to him. And then his heart started to beat a little faster.

At the bathroom, Buneary was leaning back on the door. She then sits on the floor while placing her paws to her heart. I really….. kissed Pikachu. Though it wasn't a real kiss, but it still feels amazing. And another thing, Pikachu asked me out to the party tomorrow. Hopefully we could become more than friends and share our first kiss with each other. She thought.

Pikachu went back outside and he saw his friends looking at him. "So? How it go?" Dedenne said.

Pikachu nodded and smiled. "Yep. It went great, we both forgave each other, and now we're friends again."

"Well that's really good. Come on, Dedenne, Charizard and Croagunk let's go tell everyone the good news!" Quilava said to Charizard, Dedenne, and Croagunk.

They nodded and went to tell everyone leaving Piplup, Oshawott, and Buizel with Pikachu. "Well I'm glad you two made it up." Buizel said.

"Yeah the same." Oshawott said.

"Well there's something else I did when we made it up." Pikachu said.

Buizel had a questioned look on his face. "What is it?"

"Well I said I went to make it up to her. So I decided to ask her to the party tomorrow night. And she said yes."

Piplup started to smirk widely at Pikachu. "So? You basically asked Buneary out on a date huh?" Pikachu started to blush hard. "So it is a date?"

Pikachu immediately denied. "No!"

Piplup started to laugh. "You're lying! I can see it in your eyes."

"No I'm not." He immediately denied again.

Oshawott started to smirk as well. "Looks like you're going on a date with Buneary."

"I told you! It's not a date! I'm just taking Buneary to the party and we're going out as just friends! That's all!" As Pikachu waved his paws frantically.

Buizel then said. "Alright alright Pikachu calm down. We're just joking, that's all."

"Yeah Pikachu, I tend to do that to Buneary all the time." He laughed until he stopped laughing and became serious. "Until she got angry and Dizzy Punched me in the face or Ice Beam me. Man, for a cheerful and shy Buneary, she can have an anger issue."

"Wow." Pikachu said. And then he said, "Uh Piplup and Buizel mind if I talk to Oshawott alone?"

Piplup and Buizel looked at each other and agreed, leaving Oshawott and Pikachu alone.

Oshawott looked at Pikachu. "So? What do you want to talk about?"

"Well I need a favor from you and Snivy." Pikachu said nervously. And he starts tell Oshawott about something.
