Chapter 6: Sonic and Lana Missing

Rouge's POV:

It has been a few days since Shadow, Cato, Johanna, and I left for the G.U.N mission. I felt bad for leaving Lana alone but at least she was with the family. As I was finishing up with something, I heard Shadow saying something that caught my attention.

"What?! What do you mean they are gone?!" Shadow yelled. "Huh?" I said. I walked over to Shadow. "What's going on?" I asked. Shadow angrily hung up the phone.

"It seems that Sonic and Lana are missing," Shadow said. "What?" Johanna said. "As in kidnapped?" Johanna said. "Yes. We need to get home right now." Shadow said. We called the general and explained that there was an emergency in the family and that we needed to end the mission early. When we got home, everyone had gathered around the living room.

"So Sonic and Lana has gotten kidnapped, and no one cared to do anything about it?" Shadow said angrily. "Trust us, Shadow. We tried everything we could. They are nowhere to be found and we have no idea where they went." Tom said. "I think I may have an idea where they are." Tails said. "Huh? You do?" Knuckles said. "Yes. When I was walking in the meadows a few days ago, I saw Scourge and Fiona attacking them. They took them away after they attacked them." Tails said.

Shadow slammed his fist on the table. "Then why didn't you do anything about it?! Why didn't you stop them when they were there attacking them?!" Shadow yelled. "I-I I'm sorry. I didn't know what to do in the situation!" Tails cried. Shadow jumped up and attacked Tails. "Agh!" Tails cried when Shadow was attacking him.

"Hey!" I yelled. I tried to pull Shadow off of Tails, but Shadow kicked me. "Shadow please stop, I'm sorry!" Tails cried. Shadow slammed his hand over Tails' mouth. "Shut up! You were there when you saw them yet you did not do anything!" Shadow yelled. Thankfully Katniss stepped in as things were about to get worse.

"Enough! This was not Tails' fault so stop attacking him, Shadow!" Katniss shouted. Katniss pulled Shadow off of Tails. I went over to Tails to help him up.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah. Thanks, Rouge." Tails said. "You're welcome," I said. Once we calmed everyone down, we regrouped.

"Okay, so what do we do about this?" I asked. "I will have my teams start searching for Scourge's hideout place. It shouldn't be too hard to find, then we can come up with a plan to save Sonic and Lana." Tom said. "Alright," I said. Tails left the room. I don't blame him. I heard Tails slamming the door when he got to his room. I sighed.

"Shadow, you didn't have to attack Tails like that," Amy said. "Yeah, you really should apologize to him," Peeta said. "Hmph. I don't apologize to anybody." Shadow said. "You have some serious anger problems, man," Marvel said. It's true Shadow does have anger problems and can get angry easily. I remember Shadow yelling at Lana a few times when she didn't do as she was told right away. I felt bad for Tails, so I decided to go check on him. I knocked on his door.

"Tails? It's me, Rouge." I said. "You can come in." Tails said. I walked into his room and sat down on his bed next to him. "Are you doing, okay? I know Shadow lashed out on you earlier." I said. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just wish I would have done something when Scourge and Fiona took them." Tails said. "I know, I know. It wasn't your fault, you didn't know what to do during that situation." I said. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you're wife Rouge." Tails said.

"It's okay. What matters now is that we get her and Sonic back." I said. "Yeah. I just hope they are doing okay right now." Tails said. "Me too," I said. I feel bad for Lana. Poor girl must be scared right now. When I get my hands on Scourge, I am gonna make him pay for what he has done.

I decided to let Tails be alone for a while, so I left his room and went to my room to wait for some news on Lana and Sonic. I share a room with Lana, Cato, and Johanna. Her bed on the top bunk was empty of course. The room feels so empty without her. I really do hope we get her back soon.

As I was watching some videos on my phone, Cato walked into the room. "Hey Rouge? We have something downstairs that you might wanna see." Cato said. "Oh okay. I'll be there in a minute." I said. "Okay, but hurry. It's important." Cato said. Cato left the room. I put my phone down and walked down to the living room.

"What's this about?" I asked. Tom held out his phone and there was a no caller I.D. on the number. "Answer it," Cato said. Tom answered the phone. "Who is this?" Tom asked. "I'm surprised you don't recognize me." The voice said. I gasped as I knew who that voice belonged to. Scourge. "Scourge?! What did you do with my husband and my daughter?!" Shadow demanded angrily. "Oh don't worry stripes, they are safe with me right now. I have them in good hands trust me." Scourge said.

"You bastard!" Johanna yelled. "When we find you Scourge, you are gonna pay," I said. "That's the thing. You won't find me. I am in a hidden location and I won't tell you where I am hiding." Scourge said. Shadow growled. "Don't forget that my team and I can locate you," Tom said. "Well in that case... If you dare come looking for them or even attempt to rescue them, then I will shoot a bullet in their heads. I am going to marry them and you can't stop me!" Scourge said. Scourge gave out a laugh, then he hung up the phone. "Damn it now they are in even more danger," Johanna said.

"Now what do we do?" Knuckles asked. "Sonic and Lana are in danger! We have to save them!" Amy cried. "No," Peeta said. "No? But we can't just leave them there." Amy said. "We do nothing at this point. That's the only way we keep them alive. They will get killed if we try and rescue them and I am not risking that." Peeta said. "Ugh, I just wanna save them right now," Shadow said with frustration. "We will save them. Right now we can't do anything. This will take time and we need to think of a different plan carefully." Tom said. "Okay, fine," Shadow said.

"I think we should take some time to ourselves right now," Katniss said. "Yeah, that's a good idea," I said. We parted ways so we could have some time to ourselves.

I just hope Lana is doing okay wherever she is.
