R2 Friday

The pleasantly soft bed she was in seemed to seamlessly phase out and back in as if identical in both realities. She was expecting a lot to be different, but instead, she opened her eyes to the usual sight of Victoria's room. She quickly noticed that there were other people in bed with her. When she sat up and looked around at the sleeping girls, she noticed the usual faces, plus what appeared to be Steph, who was closely cuddling with Esha. Max was delighted that her relationship with all of them had endured so seamlessly through the past five years; if she hadn't known better, she would have thought this was her own time.

As much as she wanted to know what they'd been up to for the past years, she knew that it was more important to get back to her own time before she spontaneously jumped through time again. She also didn't want too much of the future to be revealed to her for the sake of having something unknown to look forward to. Knowing that they would all be together five years from now, including Steph, was enough for her.

Max quietly slipped out of bed, intending to find the black stone and go back without notice. She first looked around Victoria's room keenly to see if it was out in the open, but there was no sign of it. She began quietly looking through drawers and small exquisite chests when she came across a particularly gorgeous one. When she opened it, they were all there, red, white, and black, and they were all thankfully still in their pendants.

After looking back and seeing that everyone was still sleeping, which they were, Max sat on the floor with the black pendant and began focusing her mind. She figured that the best chance for this to work was for her to open the pendant while focusing on the exact moment in time she wanted to go. It didn't take her long to decide which moment it would be. When she had the moment vividly inside her mind, she opened the pendant, and everything became dark.
