Annabeth POV:

"So what do you guys think"

My dad gestured to the house in front of us, apparently he and Helen had known that we were going to move here for a while. And yes I know what your thinking 'Annabeth how did you not realize you were moving when you saw the random guys coming into your house and pack all of your belongings' but let me explain first.

Since about a year and a half ago we had already been planning to move to another house, but (this is a very important but), we were not supposed to move across the country, just to a bigger house.

The house in front of us was very beautiful to say the least, It was very in a very nice neighborhood, the house itself was drop dead gorgeous. the outside was grey with a trim of stone on the bottom, in front of the front door were two mahogany wood beams.

(AN: I just realized that I am not the best at describing houses so I will just leave you guys the link of the house that I based it off of, it's exactly the same exept the basement is finished and the yard is like fifteen times smaller. homedetails/19195-Breton-Pl-Monument-CO-80132/181574659_zpid/, just copy and paste it, it's a beautiful house)

"Hey Annie" Bobby nudged me

Eye turned to him and raised an eyebrow

"What?"

"Your drooling"

"What! Am not"

I scanned the outside again and my eyes landed on the garage.

"Hey dad?"

"Yes?"

"Why do we have a three car garage? We only own two cars"

He turned to look at Helen and it seemed as though they were having a silent conversation. In the end my dad won.

"Well your mom and I will be busy since my new job is longer hours and she is currently searching for a new job here, so you would need to drive yourself to school"

"What about Bobby and Matthew"

"Oh there school has a bus system, yours however does not"

Then with a grin plastered on his face he walked towards me and pressed a garage opener and a set of keys into my hands.

"Go on"

He gestured for me to open the one on the right hand side.

I pointed the garage opener towards that one and I almost screamed for joy when I saw the car inside.

I leapt into my dad's arms.

"How, why"

"Well we had wanted to get you a car last year on your sixteenth birthday but decided that with my new raise if we waited a while we could get you a better car."

"And, if I remember correctly, Luke taught you how to drive right?"

I nodded my head, Luke's driving lessons had ended up being a three hour comedy show for Evey. But in the end (and I don't mean to sound cocky) I did better than her on the drivers license exam, so take that Evey!

"Well why don't you go for a spin, check out the neighborhood"

I squeezed him one last time.

"Thank you so much!"

I walked over to my new car, it was a white audi r8 convertible with black leather upholstery. I gently opened the door and stepped in, the seat was so soft I wanted to just melt into it. I started the car and slowly pulled out of the driveway.

Soon I was pulled into the parking lot of a starbucks, I parked my car double locked it just to be sure then went inside.

As soon as I had my order (a caramel ribbon crunch) I called Evey and Luke

"Hey"

"Hey, how's new york"

I shrugged

"it's okay, they have good coffee" I said holding up my cup.

"So how do you like the car?"

"Wait you knew about that"

"Yeah, how do you think he knew which one to get?"

"Fair enough"

"So what have you been up to?"

"Oh not much, just sulking around my bedroom crying about how my best friend betrayed me and moved all the way across the country"

"Oh get over it, I did not betray you. I was forced to come here against my will" I said a little to loudly which ended up getting me a bunch of random people staring at me like I was crazy.

"Sorry my mom is calling me I have to go"

"Okay bye"

"Bye"

I sighed and to myself said 'I guess that's our cue to leave'

Time skip: First day of school

"Have a great day"

"Bye dad"

As I pulled into the school parking lot I got this weird feeling like something was... oh never mind it's probably nothing.

The school was pretty big and was made from tan bricks and stone.

"Hi, I'm Annabeth and I'm a new student could you please show me to my locker" I asked the lady at the front desk.

"I'm sorry love I can't but I'll send for someone okay just wait a minute okay"

I offered her a smile "sure thing"

I stood by the front desk as she called for someone

A few minutes passed and I was starting to grow impatient.

Then out of nowhere a black form crashed into me causing me to fall.

"Watch where you're going" I groaned as I rubbed me head.

I looked up to see a figure standing over me.

"Sorry"

He offered me a hand and I reached out to grab it but paused.

Why did this feel so familiar?

I looked up tentatively at the stranger's face and was startled when I was greeted by a pair of shimmering sea green eyes

Flash Back

"Hey, watch it"

"Sorry" the little boy squirmed and offered me his hand.

Hesitantly I took it.

"You made me drop my book"

He looked at me with an impish grin.

"Well maybe if your nose wasn't stuck in your book you wouldn't have dropped it huh" the scrawny boy said

I scowled at him and turned to leave.

"Hey wait!" he called after me

I ignored him and kept on walking. Then I was suddenly pulled back, the boy had grabbed my hand.

"If someone is trying to talk to you it's polite to at least look at them"

"What do you want"

"Well you don't look like someone who has a lot of friends"

"And you don't look like someone who thinks before they speak"

I expected him to at least look annoyed, instead his grin just grew.

He stretched out his hand towards me.

"I'm Percy, pleased to meet you"

I gave him a curious look then took his hand.

"I'm Annabeth"

"Cool come on" he waved for me to follow and started to walk off

"Why?"

"Well were friends right" 'huh' "Then lets go to the park

He started off in a run "Come on, last one there's a rotten egg"

End Flashback

"Uh hello" I looked up to see that the boy was still holding his hand out

"Sorry it's just, Deja-Vu"

"Well you gonna take my hand or not because my arms getting tired"

I took his hand and got to my feet.

"Hey Perce lets go already, Pipes and thals are waiting for us" A blonde kid behind me called

"Well see ya later blondie"

Then he shouldered his bag and headed towards his friends.

"Oh hey sweetie, this is Connor he'll show you to your classes"

I turned and saw a boy with curly brown hair and a mischevious grin.

"Ready newbie" What was with it and the nicknames today

"Yeah"

"Lets go"

Percy POV:

"Bro who was the blonde chick" my best friend Grover asked nudging my side and raising his eyebrows suggestivly

"I don't know, some new chick"

"Whatever you say, but man that girl was hot"

"Oh whatever" I tried to sound cool, but in reality my heart was beating ten times faster.

It couldn't have been her, right

I shook the thought out of my head, nah she left years ago. It couldn't be her
