Chapter 17 - Acceptance and Happy Ending

In the previous chapter, Elisa and Calem had been reminiscing of their wonderful childhood moments and memories in Pallet Town. Later on, she accepted his real feelings for her despite she was already married to Brendan. That night, the married couple were making love with each other. Somehow, the child of Zero were watching at them, with happiness on his face and left the spot.

Meanwhile in the house of Calem, he was busily searching of secret history of pokemon evolutions including the Mega Evolution in the computer room. Somehow, one of Ash's closest friends Tracey Sketchit came in, sees him of what he was doing.

" Researching on the computer, Sir Calem? "

" Oh, it was just you, Tracey. Is there's something that you needed with? " turned his head a little

" It was just nothing. Let me guess, searching about history of Pokemon evolutions, isn't it? "

" Yes, and why? "

" I guess you should asked either Professor Oak about those. He knows everything about those stuffs. "

" I see but no thanks. I can do this on my own. "

" Oh, I understand that... and by the way, did you talk with Elisa last time, right? "

" Wait.. how did you know? "

" Clemont told me. So.. did she accepted your secret love feelings for her? "

" Well.. constantly.. she had been accepted upon her heart and mind.. and she does accept anyone in a fair way.. "

Meanwhile at the Ketchum residence, Elisa was talking to her cousin Ash through video chat in the laptop.

" So.. how was your training in there? "

" Seems fine. So, when you and Brendan will gonna have your first child? "

And so, she went out of the house, to searched for Red in every corners of Pallet town.

" Why I shouldn't realized it.. although all of the boys had been accepted it except for him... but why? Does he thinks that he can't move on from it? "

Back when, Brock went to Lucas and the other Pokeboys (with the exception of Brendan) at the lobby house.

" Oh, it was you, Brock. What was the rush? " Lucas asked him

" Is Red was with you guys? " he asked

" Uh.. he just went out a few hours ago, going to buy something, but why? " Hilbert asked, with curiosity on his face

" We have to stopped him " Brock said to them

" stopped him, from what? " Hilbert asked

" To killed himself " Brock said in response

" killed himself?! " all said together

" Does he thinks that he can't move on that Elisa had been married to Brendan? Impossible... " Calem thought on his mind

" It can't be! He will never do such a thing just like that. " Sun said with a surprise expression on his face

" Do you really think that.. " Ethan uttered

" I guess we don't have time to waste. I'm afraid that if he will gonna killed himself to death.. " Brock told them in a rush

" Maybe we should look for him. " Calem said

" Are you really satisfied about that? " Lucas asked

" We have no other choice.. and besides we don't want to lose a closest friend and ally. " Calem said in a serious tone manner

" I'm afraid I have no objection " Hilbert said

" Me too " Ethan said

" Same goes to me " Sun said

And so, the other Pokeboys along with Brock went out to searched for Red in every parts of Pallet Town.

Back to Elisa, she was completely tired of searching for 2 hours until later then, she found him at the edge of the cliff.

When she sees him trying to jumped down, she hurriedly run towards to him, holding his other hand, preventing him from suicide attempt.

" Just let go of my hand, Elisa. You don't have to do this.. you deserved of what I had truly feel.. I deserved to die in vain.. "

" Red, I know of what you truly feel but killing yourself isn't a good solution.. and besides, everyone had understand that and I do really understand that.. I had also felt the same way.. "

He was surprised of what she had said. She continues on " .. and besides, I don't want to lose you or anyone who was so very important to my life even though I had been married to my destined soulmate. You are also part of my life, Red. You, each of you guys, includes my husband Brendan.. were my greatest strength and encouragement. "

Upon hearing those words, he move back away from the center edge and then he turned his back, facing at her.

In that very moment, cold winds blew and green leaves were flying off and the night was so very darkly.

Somehow, Red sigh and said to her " Pardon me for my incompetence, Elisa. To tell you this that.. I can't move on from that day that you were been married to Brendan back then.. and I don't know what should I think. I was so very frustrated and that it's why.. I couldn't control myself and that how I decided to killed myself, in order to not be involved in your life. I'm so sorry for being discontent of what I had truly am, a real man. "

" I had understand that, Red. But next time, don't do anything foolish without telling to anyone, okay? "

" I will "

And they shared a hug.

" I won't lose you, okay? "

" I will, Elisa.. I will.. "

Brock and the others arrived in, were surprised in astonished when they seen them.

When Red sees them, he turned his back and said to them " I'm so sorry, guys. I'm acting so reckless. I can't help myself.. but this time, I will never do that again anymore. "

" But why, Red? Why you didn't tell that to us in the first place? " Ethan asked

" I'm so sorry.. I was out minded back then.. can't move on.. that Elisa was married to Brendan. I felt so very much pain in my chest.. so that I had decided that I will gonna killed myself.. " Red answered in response

Then, Calem went approached to him, tapped his hand on his shoulder, in a calm manner.

" Calem, why you.. "

" We are not mad at you, Red. We are just felt so worried about you.. I knew that you and the rest of us.. liked Elisa so much.. maybe we should be her protectors.. "

" Do you really meant it? "

" Of course, we are all Pokemon trainers of course. "

" And of course, to be united as one... never be apart ever... " Lucas said

" We don't want to lose someone.. a closest friend and trusted ally... " Hilbert said

" Same goes to me " Sun said

" Guys.. " Red uttered

And they shared a group brotherly hug.

In that very moment, Brendan arrived in, wearing a different clothes, rather than his trainer clothes.

When Red sees him coming, he went approached to him.

" Brendan! I had never expected that you will gonna come here. "

" Your rival tells me about of what happened so that why I had hurriedly went out, to stopped it. "

" I see.. actually Brendan.. it was just a little bit misunderstanding.. "

" Huh? why not? It was just not like a misunderstanding or something. "

" What do you mean by that? "

" I know that you.. and the rest of us.. were have strong feelings for Elisa.. and besides, it was up to us to decided of which is really right.. "

" It does? "

" Of course " with a smile on his face

" Brendan.. "

And they shared a brotherly hug. Somehow, Brock was felt so touch of what he had witnessed with. Elisa, was standing on the other side, was felt so very happy that Red had been returned back to his old self again.

A year later, she became pregnant and gave birth to a gorgeous handsome baby boy in which she named him Mariano. Their closest friends, fellow allies and their family members were so very delighted. So, they were having a baby shower celebration. But much to Elisa's surprise, Ash Ketchum came to attend the party as well, and his face was filled with delight and happiness.

" Cous! "

" How did I not expected to come here to see my new nephew? "

" You had been surprised me that much, cous. So, how was your training in the other region? "

" Seems going well that much.. but I'm so completely enjoyed in my own job. "

Elisa smiled

Then, they were having their group picture taking. But much to their surprise, the baby boy Mariano can able to talk the first two words: Mommy and Daddy.

After the picture taking, the party continues on. But unbeknownst to everyone, the legendary Pokemon Mew was watching at outside of the window, was also felt so very happy and delighted that everything were going back to normal and peaceful life without any harm, dangers and threats occurred.

Then, after a few minutes later, he left the spot and fly away into the night skies.
