Tadi sits in the girls dorm room, at the window looking at the stars in the
slightly misty night in October. It was chilly and she had her cloak on
over jeans and a black turtleneck. She sighs, dwelling on the thoughts of
when she was younger, and how she came to Hogwarts.
Her mother.....Her father....Her own self....Its scary how perverted and messed up the world was.
Climbing out of the open stained glass window, and onto the towers slightly slanting roof she wonders why she didn't have friends, and why no one wanted to ever get close to her. Her heart had hardened over the years of fear and anguish.
She looks a her hands, and winces in pain, of the memory.... Her father beating her over, and over again. Her mother taking so many drugs she was always passed out, or too high, wasn't ever there. One day her father had given up. They were a broken family. She lost her mother because her dad had killed her, then he had killed himself....
She had had to watch every moment of it. Of horrifying, terrible, hear wrenching second of it. Now, there was a wall around her heart and people wondered why. No one ever knew about that night...
Glancing to the different constellations and identifying them one by one she remembers the orphanage she was forced to stay in. The people who ran it called it the "Grooming Academy For Young Homeless Children" the children called it "The Brainwashing Torture Chamber"
Almost every day of her stay there was implanted in her brain. The food was almost nonexistent; the rooms were hardwood floors where they were forced to sleep many, many kids to a room.
At 9 years old she ran away, onto the streets, where she dug out of dumpsters for her food. Slept under bridges, and was always cold and alone. That period of time had made her grow strong.
Then Mr. came into her life
Mr. was nice, kind, and he let Tadi stay in his shop to sleep. He gave her food, and she learned to trust him. She stayed with him for a year. He raped her. Repeatedly. Beat her.
Eventually the cops found him out. They stored him away in some dark cell in jail for 20 years.
The cops knew she didn't have a home to go to so they sent her back to the "Brainwashing Torture Chamber" and left her there. After a half of a year she got her Hogwarts letter and came to the school. The academy was more than happy to have one less mouth to feed, and she was more than happy to get away.
It was now her 4th year and she was glad she was here. She had a lot more power then she knew she had, and now she was learning to master it.
Tadi came back to the present, and picked at the roof, with her fingernails, not really noticing it. She was paying attention to the stars, and the stories behind them.
Andromeda and the whale, her being chained to a rock and left for dead just because her mother had bragged to the gods about her beauty. To think, the princess left for dead to be eaten alive my a horrendous whale.
And you can never forget the hero, who saved her and married her.
