EPILOGUE

Naranjo and Burnscar are training the troops of Shiver City to begin using raiding techniques just like how Burnscar taught his old crew. In the distance, a flock of birds flies over the city to signal that the raid is beginning. A group of soldiers run out of the city gates with torches in hand. As the sun sets, the soldiers have set fire to the surrounding forest.

"That be a good a time for everyone! First try!" Burnscar praises them.

"This is a great way to increase our firewood supply!" Naranjo notes.

Soon the entire area is left in flames. The soldiers return victorious from the dried forest with bags of dead wood to be used for lighting fireplaces.

"I can already tell ye all will be amazing!" Burnscar exclaims.

"Amazing?" Naranjo asks. "Amazing for what?"

"For the winds...The winds of change." Burrnscar says ominously.

"What does that mean?" Naranjo asks.

"I be pirating for too long to know when the winds of change be spreading. We may be having peace now, but be prepared! Ye never know when the calm summer be turning back to a winter of discontent."

Everyone laughs nervously, not really sure how to respond to Burnscar's strange warnings.

"Until then though...I am going to have a special treat for all of ye tonight! We be goin bar hoppin!"

"Oh yeah! What could be more fun than a night of revelry?!" The Orange Toads cheer.

Daisy is packing up her things in her room, according to some books on her bed, it looks like she's going to be taking a spiritual journey.

"I'm not sure how I feel about this..." Daisy says to herself. "I mean, I'm excited that it'll be a nice adventure for once, but I'm also a bit nervous."

She opens her locket and looks at the picture of Luigi inside it. "If I'm going to be a better princess, and future queen, I'm going to need to be in touch with the world around me. That includes the various other kingdoms on this planet. Luigi, I'm going to prove to you that I have what it takes, sweetie." She kisses the locket and puts it back around her neck. Daisy packs her bags and heads to the front door.

"Bye Mom!" Daisy says. "I'll write to you every week!"

Daisy begins taking her first steps on an adventure to lands she does not know.

Azura is unpacking her many devices and placing them around Yashil's Tribal home. Humming to herself as Yashil has finished putting the skull children to bed.

"These drums are gonna be perfect for my performance this weekend..." Yashil says, preparing his instruments

"Yes...it's such a shame that we won't be able to perform again before you leave." Azura gives him a peak on the cheek. "I'm afraid the children will have to wait another year to hear your music."

"Yeah, the celebration of Yoshi Independence is certainly a hectic one." Yashil replies. "It's one of the few good things that came out of the Great Toad War."

"Oh, aren't you reading the history of that to the kids?" Azura says. "Teaching them a little something about what times were like before they were born?"

"Yes, but I'm cutting out all the gory details." Yashil answers, showing off the book to Azura. "We're almost done actually! We just have the last few chapters, just the aftermath of the biggest battle, the journey back home, then the prophecy and finally the...Oh no." Yashil eyes fill with terror.

"What?" Azura asks.

Yashil opens the "Great Toad War'' novelization and flips to a part near the end. "Everything that was prophesied has come true!"

He shows Azura the pages. "The two suns! The two moons! The death of the false queen! The breaking of ancient seals! The death of a knight and the mad princess who would avenge him! The pirate renouncing his ways! The Calamity! The Rainbow! The man of fire joining the land of ice! Two Royal Weddings! It all happened! Everything has fallen into place!" Yashil declares.

"What shall we do?" Azura asks.

"I wish I knew." Yashil answers. "I should have realized. Certain details sounded similar, but I never pieced them altogether like this! I thought that this couldn't be true because they were already defeated!"

"Who?!" Azura asks. "Who was defeated?!"

Yashil gulps and uses his finger to trace the last piece of the prophecy. "Once all these signs have fallen into place...thus will begin the cycle of a new Dark Lord".

"Are you sure you're not just making a boulder out of a pebble?" Azura asks. "We already defeated Calamity Bowser, as well as Ganon. Besides, the Triforce is split between the three most trusted royals in our kingdoms. There is no possible way for ``Dark Lords" to rise. Now help me unpack.``

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Yashil says as he puts a book titled "The Great Toad War" down.

Queen Zelda walks down the aisle, dressed all in white. Moving sweetly and serenely towards Link. The Hyrulian Ballroom has been rebuilt and every Hyrulian has been invited to the royal wedding of Link and Zelda. Link and Zelda sit at the thrones and stare lovingly into each other's eyes.

Queen Peach walks down the aisle of her own castle on her way to her throne, accompanied by some heavily trained armored Red Toad guards who are more prepared than they've ever been in their lives. She sits down at her throne, staring at the empty one meant for the King.

"Link," Zelda says, revealing a ring. "I give you this ring, and with it, all that I have, and all that I am. I honor you, in the name of the Goddesses"

Link is moved to tears, he pulls out his own ring and is about to speak

"Mario," Peach says, revealing her Triforce of Power necklace. "Take this Triforce as a symbol of my love, and my vow to honor you...by bringing you back to me..."

Zelda wipes away her tears "Link that was the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said to me."

Link nods, they exchange rings.

"Link, I take you to be my King!"

"Mario," Peach says, wiping tears from her eyes. "I will have you to be my King..."

"To have and to hold from this day forward!" Zelda says.

"I will love you"... Peach says.

"For better or for worse!" Zelda says.

"I will comfort and keep you..." Peach says.

"For richer or for poorer!" Zelda says.

"Forsaking all others..." Peach says.

"In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish!" Zelda says.

"With these Toad witnesses I promise to be your Queen..." Peach says.

"Until Death do us part!" Zelda says, kissing Link!

"As long as we both shall live..." Peach says, kissing the triforce.
