Romeo!
Alack, alack, what blood is this which stains The stony entrance of this sepulchre? What mean these masterless and gory swords To lie discoloured by this place of peace?
-Friar, Act V, Scene III: The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare
A Normal Boy
Disclaimer: All characters belong to JKR. End of story.
Rate: PG-13
Summery: AU. Harry's parents never died nor were magical. James and Lily are like the Dursleys somehow. Please, I know this might sound confusing, but I am not the best at writing summaries.

I have no story, but what you will be hearing is *my* story. No one will believe me until it is too late. All I ask of you is to listen and tell all you can for I will be gone by then.

I was a normal child. Yes, normal as can be. My mother was too neat and tidy, *too* neat and tidy if you know what I mean. She wouldn't let me have friends because the were "too dirty, look at their house!" I thought I was normal to say, because I never knew anyone else, well, that is until I got a letter.
Dear Mr. Potter,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been excepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We await your owl -
But that is as far as I got.
"Harry! What are you reading?" Then she immediately sprayed in with Lysol.
When she looked at my letter, she screamed: "James! Come here quick!"
I never believed in magic. Mother always told me that it was nonsense and it didn't exist. I believed that until I saw the way she acted toward that letter.
"What, Lily?"
Mother was very pale and showed him the letter. The extended evil looks to me.
"Son, I want you to go to your room."
I was confused.
"But Dad! Can't I look at my letter?"
"No! I mean, son, this letter is-is dangerous. I- just go to your room, no questions!"
I walked up the stairs sadly. I knew that I must be some freak. My parents were never nice. They would never lay a hand on me; it was just verbal abuse. I knew that I was some kind of freak by the way they treated me.
I awoke to find my mother missing. I searched everywhere but no luck. I was sitting at our breakfast nook trying to take my mind off my mother.
She arrived about a half an hour later with a skinny woman with a horse- like neck. Aunt Petunia.
"Oh, Harry! I didn't know that you were going to be up." I know my mother well and that cheeriness is forced.
"Well, Mother, I woke up just how you wanted me to." Always at 6:30, so how could I be blame?
"Oh? Well . . . How about I cook us some breakfast and let your aunt to settle in?" It seems that she forgot, how silly of her.
"Now Harry dear," she says while cooking eggs. "We want you to go and visit Dudley. He will be delighted to see you!" More false cheeriness. I know that she is up with something. My cousin, Dudley, hates me. He probably wants a punching bag or to play "Harry Hunting". I scowl.
"Um ok Mother but how long do I have to stay?" I don't want to be in that living Hell for long.
She coughs then says, "So, did you see that show on the telly the other night." She changed the subject. Perfect.
*******************
After breakfast, Mother told me to back my bags. I, think that I was going to spend the night, packed only a small amount of clothes. Little did I know that I would regret this action.
TBC . . . Ok, I don't know if there are any other fics like this, but it just came to me. Please review, this would me a lot.
Be my guest and Review!
