Chapter 17
"What do you mean both Hoenn and Kalos are going to leave the PLA?" Lance slams his fist on the table with shock. Cynthia, Iris, and Leon are sharing the same shock.
"It is just like they said. Apparently... the Mysterious Champion of Kanto and Alola have formed a company equal to PLA... and they're naming it RPA." Goodshow says. "However, none of the spies sent by the International Police or the PLA is able to locate the headquarters."
"Which makes things stranger...And how come none of us manage to know the identity of the Mysterious Champion?" Iris asks.
"Steven and Diantha must have known the identity..." Cynthia says in a calm tone. "Back at the meeting, they must have recognized the face while we don't..."
"And considering what the Champion said to us in the meeting, it is no wonder they decided to leave the PLA and pick a winning team." Leon says.
On the plane, Ash is now talking to Queen Ilene. Ash says, "I see... so you have informed aunt Diantha about everything..."
Ilene says, "My sister had talked to the Gym Leader of Anistar City, she told me that she already recognized you back in the meeting with the PLA. And she did a resignation paper for the PLA so that Kalos will also join the RPA."
"Not that I disagree." Ash says. "However, the schedule was already busy these days, and it will take more days before I go to the Kalos Region."
"I know, and good luck." After ending the call, he turns to Luke, "So even Steven also left the PLA, right? Considering we've talked about this back at the company."
"Yes. And I also come clean to him and told him about Team Alpha." Luke says. "And don't worry, after listening to your reasons, he agrees to let me stay."
"That is also one less worry to think about." Ash says as he turns to Brendan, "And what about you?"
"My father was happy to learn you're alive, and he will also help you." Brendan says.
"I'm glad. Professor Birch and I have been good friends, and he had stayed at my house for once." Ash says.
After arriving at the Battle Resort, they get inside to see Wally defeating a trainer with his Mega Gallade. Brendan says, "I know him, he's Wally. So he's the one you're searching for?"
"Yes." Ash says as he steps forward. "Pardon me, you're Wally, right? May I have a battle with you?"
Wally stares at the cloaked figure and says, "If it's a one-on-one, then fine by me."
He decides to use his Gallade, while Ash goes for Gardevoir. Both Pokemon look at each other, then they all Mega evolve. Ash and Wally decide to trust their instincts and use Eye contact to tell moves.
"Why are they not commanding attacks?" Lisia asks.
"They are, but they use Telepathy to communicate with each other." Luke says.
Both of them teleport to dodge the attacks and even attack with their respective moves, as they both shoot a Psycho Cut, the field is covered with Smoke. After the smoke disappears, Gardevoir is the one still standing.
Wally kneels and mutters, "I've lost...how are you able to do that?"
Ash says, "I'm a Champion of two Regions, and I have been trying to find an Elite Four member. I heard your talents in Psychic and Fighting Type Pokemon, and I was wondering if you want to join me as the Kanto Elite Four?"
Wally stares at Ash in shock. "Me? An Elite Four member? I don't know if I can take the role..."
"Don't worry about it. I'll train you to make you stronger." Ash says as he shows his hand. "So what do you think?"
Wally grabs his hand and says, "I'm in. I want to become stronger and this gives me the opportunity."
After bringing Wally to the plane, Ash also reveals everything to him. About Team Alpha, the 18 teams, and his own personal background. Wally says, "So that means... you're the friend that Max told me about?"
"You know Max?" Ash asks.
"Max was the one who helped me find Gallade as a Ralts." Wally says. "He has a sister named May, who seems to be depressed because of your so-called death."
"I see." Ash frowns. "However, there is a reason why I can't meet them yet. I hope you understand."
Wally nods as they all head back to the Sevestar Region. Ash offers Luke to be the Gym Leader of the Sevestar, and he accepts the role. As for Brendan and Wally, they have been training with the others as Ash heads into the RPA.
"So I heard you manage to bring Kalos and Hoenn into the RPA, right?" Alice is his secretary at the RPA along with Lillie, and Ash looks at the papers and says, "Yeah. The Kalos Champion is family-related to me, while I talked to Steven in the Devon Corp personally."
Lillie says, "That's great to know. You've already done a good job in finding the new members of the Kanto Elite Four. However, we are still missing one Elite Four member."
Ash says, "You're right, but I already have an ideal person and he should be in the Unova Region. I will be trying to find him two days later because I promise Dawn that I have to go to Sinnoh tomorrow because of his two brothers."
Chloe says, "Wait, you have two brothers?"
Dawn sighs and says, "I know you've never met them before. One is Lucas, he has been working with my Dad at his own lab all the time, and Tox has been a doctor. Though Lucas sometimes will hang out with Barry."
"Barry, huh..." Ash says. Paul says, "Why am I not surprised."
"So you know about this Barry?" Goh asks.
"He's slightly annoying, bumping into me all the time and wanting to fine me. His father is also the head of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier: Battle Tower Tycoon." Ash says.
Paul says, "I have to agree that he's annoying as well."
The next day, Paul and Dawn are with Ash as they arrive at the Sinnoh Region. Ash says, "Dawn. I'll send you back home while Paul and I have some things that we need to do."
"Okay..." Dawn says as she leaves before Ash and Paul head to Lake Valor. Paul asks, "So who are we meeting?"
Ash shows the picture of the dead Team Galactic Grunts at the Eterna City. Paul asks, "Did you do this?"
"No, the sender of the picture did this." Ash says. "She stabbed all of them with the knife and then used Shadow Force to drag them to hell. She is an Aura User like me, only that I'm much more skilled because I'm the Aura Prince."
"She? So you know this person?" Paul asks.
"My sister, and I don't mean Insey or Minami." Ash says as they walk towards the Lakefront and watch a girl sitting there.
Ash sits by Golly's side and says, "Nice view, isn't it?"
"Yeah. And it is nice to see you again, Brother." Golly says.
"Really nice to see you again, after you're missing for 15 years without telling me everything." Ash says. "Giratina and Arceus sent you to the past, where Sinnoh was once Hisui. How was there?"
"Trying my hardest to survive Pokemon attacks." Golly says, "I joined the Survey Corps of the Galaxy Expedition Team and I helped create the first-ever Pokedex."
"Good to know it." Ash says.
"Though it is a shame that Team Galactic is now evil instead of doing good things like Captain Cyllene wants to..." Golly frowns. "And when I come back, I heard the news of how Team Rocket killed Mom. I never got to say goodbye to her..."
"Me too... that's why we're getting our revenge. We're going to avenge Mom and kill our enemies." Ash says while turning to Paul, "Why don't you join us, Paul?"
Paul sighs, "I just don't want to ruin a family reunion."
"You are?" Golly asks.
"This is Paul, he's my Elite Four member." Ash says. "We met just when I started my journey in Sinnoh, and we had different views from the start until we become friends in the end."
"I see. It is nice knowing you." Golly says with a slight blush after seeing Paul.
"So Golly, you sent me the picture of the attack in Eterna City, did you find anything important there?" Ash asks.
"Both the Adamant Orb, Lustrous Orb, and the Griseous Orb are stolen." Golly sighs. "I was too late, which is why I sent all the grunts to hell with Giratina's help."
Paul says, "I heard those orbs can give the power of the Dragon-Steel, Dragon-Water, and Dragon-Ghost, right?"
"Yeah... although they got the orbs, I still have these..."
Ash shows the three things on the ground. "The Adamant Crystal, Lustrous Globe, and the Griseous Core. Not only can they boost the power of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, they can also transform into the Origin form."
"I think I've seen them in the ruins somewhere." Paul says.
"You're right." Golly says, "And we have a feeling that it is not enough. They are going to find the plates of Arceus as well: All seventeen of them."
Ash says, "Flame Plate, Splash Plate, Zap Plate, Meadow Plate, Icicle Plate, Fist Plate, Toxic Plate, Earth Plate, Sky Plate, Mind Plate, Insect Plate, Stone Plate, Spooky Plate, Draco Plate, Dread Plate, Iron Plate, and Pixie Plate. All of them can be obtained by mining in the Grand Underground. However, everyone thinks there are only a total of 17 plates. The truth is that there are 19 Plates in total."
Ash places two more plates on the ground. "The Blank Plate, and the Legend Plate. The Blank Plate boosts the power of the Normal Type, while the Legend Plate makes Arceus' type random during each turn."
Paul says, "So Team Galactic's goal is to obtain Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus?"
"Technically, they just need Arceus." Ash says. "With Arceus, they can just create another Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina of their own. And like the other teams, Team Rocket will also play a part in helping them."
"And Brother already has Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and even Arceus in his team. But I believe in the multiverses and there will be more than one Legendary Pokemon species in the world." Golly says.
"That's why we need to prepare." Ash says while standing up. "So, are you willing to come with us? Back to the Sevestar Region that I told you about?"
Golly smiles, "You bet. I heard you're missing a Ghost Type Gym Leader, right? I can help with that."
"So you specialize in Ghost Type? Why is that?" Paul asks.
"It is true that Ghosts are creepy, but I also find them very nice." Golly says, "And with Ghost Types, I can also give my enemies nightmares."
Ash and Paul shiver a little, and Ash says, "Well, I think I can relate to it. Anyway, we promise Dawn that we're going to meet in Sandgem Town. So we should go there right now."
After making sure they're not followed, they all leave with the plane.
Here is a new chapter, and both Hoenn and Kalos are leaving the PLA and joining the RPA. Ash also reunites with Golly in Sinnoh and he adds Wally as the Kanto Elite Four. Now there is only one Elite Four member that Ash needs to find. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be focusing on Dawn's two brothers.
