Chapter 20

Once they arrive at Nate's house, they hear an argument and they decide to hide outside. "So what if we were members of Team Plasma in the past? We're not going to join them again! Now delete my phone number and we're not going to call again!"

After ending the call, they also hear Rosa's voice, "Why were they so annoying? Mom? When were they going to realize that we're not going to join them..."

"With the numbers of their grunts being killed by this mysterious organization... it was no wonder they want to recruit former members back to the team..."

Ash, Hibert, and Hilda turn to Nate, and Ash asks, "Your family were Team Plasma members? What is going on here?"

Nate says, "One of the Seven Sages, Rood, was our grandfather from our mother's side. That's why we become members of Team Plasma at a young age..."

"Was that the reason you and Rosa didn't become trainers until two years ago?" Hibert asks. "Because of Team Plasma's influence?"

"Sort of." Nate sighs. "After you defeated N and Ghetsis at their castle, our family decided to leave Team Plasma once we know you're the ones who battled them...and we moved to Aspertia City and live a normal life, sometimes we would go to our grandfather's daycare to bring those Pokemon we liberated to trainers."

"I see..." Yancy says, "But why aren't we going inside the house?"

Everyone realizes what they are doing and they just laugh to themselves, for some reason, they don't have the answer to that question.

"Good question, let's just go inside." Hilda says as they enter the house.

"I'm home!" Nate's voice causes Rosa to rush out and says, "Nate, welcome back. Hibert! Hilda, you're here as well!"

"Good to see you again, Rosa." Hibert says. "It's been a while since we traveled together."

"And who are they?" Rosa asks while looking at Yancy and Ash. Ash takes off his cloak and says, "My name is Ash Ketchum. You probably heard of me before."

"Ash Ketchum? The World Champion who was killed by Team Rocket a year ago?" Rosa gasps in shock. "I'm your fan!"

"Thanks." Ash says.

Nate says, "By the way, we're here because we have to talk, is Mom also available? Since we want to talk about Team Plasma."

Rosa stares at Hibert and Hilda and asks, "You told them our secret, didn't you?"

Hibert says, "He did, but we're not mad at you, after all, we're family."

After sitting at the table, Nate's mother greets all of them and asks, "So you want to talk about Team Plasma..."

"Yes." Ash says, "We had a few encounters with them, and I mean the black outfit Team Plasma that started about 5 years ago."

"But why didn't you tell us that you were once Team Plasma members in the past?" Hibert asks.

"It was never occured to us... we only knew you were the ones who stopped Lord N and Ghetsis during your raid at N's castle." Nate's mother says.

"And we were really surprised, Lord N has Reshiram and yet you managed to defeat him with just normal Pokemon..." Rosa says.

"If we use the old legend, it should be the hero chosen by Zekrom fighting against the chosen one of Reshiram." Nate says. "And the hero chosen by Zekrom is no other than Ash Ketchum here."

"It is true that I was chosen by Zekrom." Ash says. "But it was not pleasant... when I first came to Unova, Zekrom played a prank on my Pikachu so that he won't be able to use Electric moves...but I'm glad the powers had returned in the end."

Rosa says, "So does that mean you've fought lord N before?"

"I never fought him... instead, we have been friends and we've traveled together for a short amount of time." Ash says. "Hibert and Hilda told me about their encounter with N, and I was like are we talking about the same person? The N I know was much different. He told me that while some people treat Pokémon harshly, there are also those who treat Pokémon as family, people who work alongside Pokémon, and people like myself whom Pokémon love being around."

"I'm glad to hear that..." Rosa says, then she notices the cloaks on Ash, Nate, and Yancy's outfits, she asks, "Is this some sort of fashion?"

"Oh, they are our uniforms..." Ash says. "You see. I formed my own organization known as Team Alpha."

"Team Alpha? Does that mean you guys were the ones who killed the grunts of Team Plasma during these days?" Nate's mother asks. "And even you joined this?"

Nate says, "I'm sorry, Mom. But this group is different from Team Plasma. They are doing this because of good intentions. Ash has the power of aura, he could determine the person's heart. Those we killed are the ones with the bad hearts and possibility never going to change."

"And the two of us decide to join in as well. Ash can make us stronger and we're not going to miss the chance of becoming strong." Hilda says. "We're here because we want to know if Rosa wants to join us."

"Me? Join you?" Rosa asks. "Well... if you guys are doing this because you want to stop Team Plasma... then I probably want to join in as well. Ghetsis lied to us about liberating Pokemon and we still can't forgive him for that."

"That's nice." Ash says. "We're not here for a long stay, we still have some things to do back at Sevestar Island."

The others nod as they all leave the house and head back to the Sevestar Region.

Once they get to the Sevestar Region, Ash goes to the RPA office as they have a meeting with the 12 Elite Four members.

Kanto Elite Four: Chloe (Normal/Electric), Irena (Steel/Rock), Wally (Psychic/Fighting), Paul (Ground/Dark)

Alola Elite Four: Hibert (Water/Flying), Aria (Fire/Psychic), Lillie (Ice/Fairy), Elena (Steel/Dragon)

Sevestar Elite Four: Eve (Dark/Grass), Drandon (Dragon/Bug), Mark (Fighting/Poison), Alice (Ice/Ghost)

"I trust you guys to handle the region well enough, and I assume Aria has something to talk about?"

Aria stands up and says, "Yes. As the former Kalos Queen, I was accused by Team Justice of attacking a bystander, which turns out to be one of the members of Team Justice."

Mark says, "So they're trying to play the victim so that they can get rid of us?"

Ash says, "That's why we have to pick a person who is good at fluent language to become a lawyer for Aria."

"If that's the case, I volunteer to help out." Eve raises her hand.

Alice says, "I agree to let Eve do it, she has never lost a debate back when we were still at school."

"Then we're counting on you, Eve. We will make a lawyer pass for you." Ash says.

"Are you sure it will work?" Chloe asks with concern. "What if they found out that Eve's job is not a lawyer?"

"That is if they will find out." Ash says, "Since the RPA has Kalos, I will personally talk to the judge if they manage to find out."

After that's done, they all head to the court in Kalos, Ash and Alice are sitting on the witness stand as they see how it goes.

"Object! I'm sure that Ms. Aria had never walked on that street during this morning. There must have been a security camera nearby, and we can just watch it to see the proof." Eve says.

"Object! The Security Cameras have been constantly moving, maybe it didn't show the culprit." The Team Justice member says.

After seeing Eve and the lawyer arguing, Ash turns to see Alice yawning. "Are you tired?"

"Not really... it was just boring." Alice whispers. "I never like watching the court shows."

"Same here..." Ash sighs. "But I'm sure Eve is going to win this, I see that Team Justice lawyer is panicking."

"I really wanted to use aura to see the hearts of people like you..." Alice mutters. "It sounds like a strong ability..."

"Trust me, some people's hearts make me sick." Ash says.

After Aria wins the trial, the judge has the Team Justice grunts pay for the whole trial as punishment, much to their displeasure. Alice asks, "Should we deal with them?"

"We can deal with them without everyone noticing. There are too many people here." Ash says.

After the trial, Aria and Eve are about to meet up with Ash, until they spot Serena and Palermo. Aria asks, "Serena! Ms. Palermo. You're here as well?"

"Aria! I was worried about you when I heard you were accused of something, I'm glad that you are not guilty." Serena says.

"Thanks to my lawyer." Aria says.

Palermo says, "By the way, I thought my grandson is somewhere here with you, am I wrong about that?"

Aria says, "Well... he has some things to do... that's why he already left..."

Seeing the pink on the cheeks, Serena teases, "Are you perhaps dating Ms. Palermo's grandson?"

"D-Dating? Of course not..." Aria is now fully red. "I admit he's attractive and he cares a lot, but we're not dating..."

"Oh really? I thought he might be a perfect boyfriend for you." Palermo says, "Though I thought he would also be good for Serena, only that his stubbornness was quite troubling..."

"I'm not dating anyone..." Serena frowns as she remembers Ash's death.

Aria notices the frown and says, "Maybe we shouldn't talk about that in front of her, Ms. Palermo. By the way, how's the training going?"

"I can't believe we've failed the trial! It was your fault!" The grunt says to the other grunt.

"My fault? We always win the trials, how do we know we will lose today?" The other grunt retorts back.

"And I lost my money because of it, what if the boss found out?" The grunt asks.

"Then you're lucky that your boss won't find out." The two grunts hear a voice and they are hit by some sort of Rod as they are knocked out. Ash says, "Alice, help me carry them."

Alice says, "Of course." After taking to the plane, Ash takes out Bisharp and swiftly cut them into pieces before tossing them into the fuel tank like others.

"I wonder what is taking Aria and Eve for so long?" Alice asks with concern.

"My grandmother and Serena had come to the court, and they want to talk with Aria for a while. But it's fine, we can wait. We're not rushing."

"You're right." Alice says. "So what is your plan tomorrow?"

"We're going to meet my aunt Diantha, and then we're going to the Anistar City Gym to meet Olympia." Ash says. "How about we have a night at Hotel Richissime? Considering we have a lot of earnings there."

"That will be nice." East replies while walking from the pilot's seat. "It sure has been a while since I sleep outside of the plane."

"And we're sorry about that. I could've just flown the plane on my own."

"It's fine." East says. "After all, I'm your pilot."

And here is a new chapter, and we are finished with the members of the Unova and getting into the Kalos. And Serena is not going to join Team Alpha yet. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be more members recruiting from Kalos.
